i would like to see the devs play

I get this feeling that I haven't.
I'm with everyone else. I think it would be cool to play on a team with a Dev.
To all the Dev's out there, if you ever want a team mate on Justice server. Just ask for Comet Woman. lvl 42 Eneg/Eneg Blaster

Considering some of the players I have grouped with... I hope not!
Before this gets out of hand...
The Gecko on Freedom server is *not* Geko.
He's an SG-mate of mine, you would not believe how much crap he gets from people.
Yeah, i know for sure i played with DEVs.....this one TF i was on, the controller told me he couldnt cast ice slick in the sewer......Thats something the devs would say. The other time was with this one ice/ice tank that was lvl 30 and only had brawl and the first attack no stamina.....Never had any end issues at all.

Okay, I'll bite. What did you spraypaint over in that pic?
Clobbertime, that's a great idea. What they really need right now is some good publicity, and showing up in-game would be awesome. The only problem would be that oft-discussed distinctly Statesman helmet, because it's not in the character creator (yet?). Not that that'd stop him, of course, but it'd be fairly obvious.
I had a dream I played with Statesmans serious....he was in broadcast talking and everyone was going crazy. So I sent him a tell to join me, I wanted to show him something I said. Then he sent me a invite!! "He was like what you have to show me"? And I said im a lvl 43 natural blaster with no travel powers. "And we was all what???? Why??" Cuz im still waiting on jetpacks, I dont wanna ruin my characters concept....He responded "I'll see what I can do".... then I woke up I swear I really had this dream heh
I was wondering if maybe they could lead a raid on hamidon with us on the liberty server. Weve tried like 10 times and the best we could do is get hamidon down to half his health then only to have him respawn like 70 of those damn mitochondria and firing squad us. If anyone could help I bet Statesman can or maybe even Mr Cup of Java himself could.

Mrs./Ms./Miss
Herself.
You wouldn't like her when she's angry. Man, there was one PM she sent somebody, who then turned around and posted it, where you just KNEW she was seriously mad. The message was totally polite (amazing, considering the tone used against her), but right beneath the surface was some serious Ms.(/etc.) Darkity Dark Dark of Darkness.
Umm, yeah. Devs come. Help out. Would be cool.

Yeah, when she's angry, you wanna stand WAAAAAY back.
But the rest of the time, she's really nice. Always polite and has a sense of humor.
I'm fawning, aren't I?

It certainly would. But I am also certain that they do *not* play. At least with characters with the same abilities as the rest of us. If they did play, I think they would be less likely to be so liberal with the nerf bat. If they truly saw how much it harmed the fun factor of the game, it wouldn't be happening as much as it has. No, they definitely do not play. Not in the "level from 1 to 50" game that we do.
Not everyone is not having fun with the game, maybe they play and there part of the large majority of the group that do enjoy this game very much.

I seriously hope I haven't played with a GM/Dev...
Now I know they know who I am, as they've talked with an SG friend of mine a long time ago and mentioned that he grouped with me a lot...
But if any of ya ever did group with me... I swear that wasn't me at the keyboard at that time, at least not a sober and well rested me. :P

I have to agree that they don't play, but for the opposite reason in that they aren't liberal enough with the nerf bat for some power sets and the fact that other power sets are still waiting for non-gimped status. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and think they're too busy working on improving the game to play. (I'm adding that part in cause I'm afraid I will be smited/griefed when I group with them in retaliation and for their basic amusement. =])
How can anyone say they don't play?
I mean, think about it, if you made a game, especially an MMORPG, would you not play?
Of course they're going to play. They're going to laugh at us for not recognizing them because they were incognito when we said "Teh D3Vs R ID10Ts!!!1!1" in front of them.
They're going to build great characters and slip them in every now and then so we can go oooh and aaaah and perhaps throw in that power we used to think wasn't good, and spread the word too.
And they're going to sit and chat with people. You know, those odd tells you get every once in a while asking you how do you like phase shift, or I want to remake a character, which would you suggest? Just so they can figure out what's needing fixes, because they don't want their masterpiece to be flawed.
They're also going to sit around and watch, never doing anything to let others know they're there. We all assume they do it whenever we do hammy raids. What's to say they're not watching us whenever we take on that archvillian, or do that 10 minute timed mission?
Of course they're going to do these things. Want proof? Think of what you'd do. The devs ARE people you know. They want to see their game at work and they want it to succeed.
Yeah I couldnt imagine them not playing, that would be worse than buy some real expensive toys (electronics in my case) and taking them home, setting it on your table, and not opening the box. You can just help it hehe

OK, but you can't use that tagline until you put pistols in the powers mix.
My scrapper doesn't need an AoE. She IS an AoE.

I seen lots of DEVs in game heres what they were doing
Geko: Screaming in broadcast about car insurance
Positron: Making very odd color combinations in Icon
Statesman:I cant say but the game is supposed to be rating "teen" and I know that you shouldnt do that kinda stuff with DE
I teamed with Gaffer back in beta.
We had gotten about halfway through our mission, and he says "I've gotta go, servers are about to go down. Sorry guys." And then we were all like, "Hunh? No one's said anything about the servers going down..." Then he said "I know, but I'm Gaffer ; )" Then he quits the team.
We were thinking, "Yeah, right. No way were we just playing with Gaffer." Then, two minutes later the little red chat pops up saying the servers are going down, and immediately after that Gaffer pops up and says, "Oh, and sorry to the team I just had to ditch."
We ended up finishing the mission, but to this day I still think that was real cool.
Just so long as you were not a PLed gimp, Pohsyb, I imagine playing with a Dev would have been fun!
"I never said thank you." - Lt. Gordon
"And you'll never have to." - the Dark Knight
If any of the PL'd characters I've played with are the devs, then I'd be very scared for the future of this game.
On the flip side, if a dev had ever actually teamed with me, I'm usually so busy keeping my eye on who needs what buff next I don't get to talk much, and therefore not really easy to register in one's memory, so they wouldn't remember.

I'm sure a dev was watching when I was trying to solo Dreck 800 times.
"What are you doing kid? Just give up! It's not worth the debt! You'll never make it!"
Actually, Devs can be quite sneaky, you think they'd be uber players, but that might not always be the case.
I remember when Scrappers were getting upgraded, and States said he spent a lot of time playing scrappers. He'd often join a group and ask scrappers "Hey, how do you slot your attacks?". Of course, HE had all the numbers and knew the best way to slot up, he just wanted to here what the information (or misinformation, as it was) was out there among scrappers.
