There are three characters that I have used in at least one story on these boards (or there is one who will be used in a story shortly). I have picked out a song for each of them that not only fits them in some way, but would also be a piece of music the character would enjoy listening too.
Hollow- For this character, who has been appearing in the Paragon University thread, her song would be O Mio Babbino Caro, the famous aria from Puccinis opera Gianni Schicchi. This aria fits the character very well, for the timeless beauty and grace of the piece is very much like the character. In addition, with it being by the last great Italian master of opera, it fits Hollow very well as she is Italian-America, with very close ties to her relatives in Sicily.
Thevshi- Have only posted with this character in a short story in my Facets thread, and that was an alternate version of the character, who is only 19. Her song would be Sunday Bloody Sunday by U2. This song works well for the character as she is somewhat torn between her pride of being Irish (Catholic) and the Anglicization she experienced with spending six years as part of a top secret British government superhero project while she was a young teenager.
Dee Farrington- This character will be appearing soon. Her song would be Sum 41s song, Fat Lip. In addition to being a song she would likely listen too, she very much is one who does not want to be a victim of conformity. 
Yah know, the one song that I thought all blasters would have as their super hero song would be "Underdog" by "Audio Adrenaline". That would be my Lv 50 Ele/Ele blaster Surge Slayer's song as he storms into battle. Even at 50 I still feel this song holds true.

Doc Mayhem is a bit older, an 'ex-hippie' so he's more likely to listen to older 60-70's rock n roll and blues. That said, he REALLY likes stuff like "hell in a bucket" or "throwing stones" by the "Dead" -- altho' these Phish guys are definitely worth checking out... he's also into EARLY Tangerine Dream (the pre-Private Records "new age" stuff, thank you very much), Alan Parsons, and other soundtrack-sounding lite rock. Mellow guy... usually.
Mistress Ohm is into more industrial or techno sounding music... even though it doesnt' QUITE fit her powers, Rammstein's "Feuer Frei!" is one of her faves. She also likes Crystal Method's "Busy Child", pretty much anything by Fluke... the theme from "La Femme Nikita" (Mark Snow) is a nice tidbit she likes too.
Soulll Trainnn is ALL about funk, blues, and hip-hop.
