  2. When I moved from XP to Win 7 I just copied the game files from one machine to anther and didn't have any problems. I'd just delete everything on your wifes machine and place everything you have on the DVD on her computer and update from there.
  3. you need to spell out your evidence, I'm not following you.


    If the democode says NINJA_RUN and the new power is called Beast Run what do you the democode for Beast Run is going to look like.

    Go in the game, /demorecord your favorite little character running around doing things all ninjarunning. Open that demo up in notepad and change every NINJA to BEAST.
  4. I don't have an answer but here is some possible Incarante Lore powers



    The middle one, it grants 50% AOE defense.

    The was some (itty bitty) discussion of needing that much defense in that thread

    If some future Incarante content used Diminishing Returns these buffs would be needed.

  9. have you tried deleting the checksum file.

    that's a guess, but deleting that thing has solved so many things in the past.
  10. I had 6 or 8 copies of Xforce #1.

    There was an image comic that I bought 3 copies of the number 1. Can't remember the name of the Artist or the comic but he did this amazing Moon Knight for 6 or 7 issues and then took off for image. He also took forever to get the first issue published.
  11. I think jump is missing, also I think an animation for turning around and running backwords is missing.

    I just threw Caravan Palace into Pandora and it started playing Violente Valse.

    I found a few other things in the Alpha Wolf photo, nothing ground breaking.
    I think I know why AW can't afford the Science Pack. He's wasting his money on monogrammed calenders.


    and anther thing who is this figurine? If this was a Visual Daily Double I'd guess Mimi from Robotech, but she's probably someone way more famous, that I've never heard of

    At least we don't have to worry about her breeding with the ball point pen and raising an army of ink filled anime fiqurines that try to take over the world. AW has placed his pen in a protective bag.

  13. So somewhere on this forum I found a 2043x1028 size photo of the image on the facebook page. The infamous Alpha Wolf shot. I can't find the link now but HERE IS A REALLY BIG PICTURE



    So I wasted a bunch of time playing around with the resolution and I think I found something. On live right now this is the closest I can get to replicating what Alpha Wolf has on his screen. Notice the wolf tail


    Now it's kinda hard to read but this either says
    ANIMATED RUGGED WOLF TAIL
    or
    ANIMATED BUGGED WOLF TAIL


    so are we looking at something new, or something broke? Or is there some rational explanation that I'm over looking?

  18. I've swapped out the ninja for beast with that mov command and tried just about ever variation of Jump yall have come up with and I'm not getting what I think the jump animation should be.

    If you look at the demo you'll see NINJA_HOP_APEX, or something like that, that is the top of the jump. I can get the running animation to play thorugh a jump but when you hit the top of the jump (ninja_hop_apex) my character just ends up moving around in the default idle pose. Not the beast run idle, the idle everyone gets when they sit around doing nothing.

    So I can get beast run to work in the air, but I think that's just because I don't know the correct mov command, and I'm just seeing my character run in the air becuase the POS (postion) for my character is moving up the Z axis.

    Parts of the Beast Run power (certian animations) might be sitting in the 186 meg patch that everyone should have sitting in their City of folder.

    I think its something other then a different word for jump. The Brainic Maniac that put together the Coh Codex left the game before we got Ninja Run so there isn't even a complied list of those "commands" to use a reference. This is the first time I've really looked at them and I'm starting to wonder if there is some sort of suffix that needs to be used.

    Beast_Jump_Pre

    are just some examples of suffixs that I see being used, but it could be anything.

    I'm just gonna let me mind percolate all of this for a while and see if anything comes to me.

  20. My camera dist on my demofile is all over the place. I found 4 frames of the beast run idle animation with the least amount of Carmera distance changes.
  21. I haven't been able to get weapons (swords, guns) stay in the hands during a beast run. they just dissappear but reappear as soon as I turn off ninja(beast) run.


    This doesn't prove one way or the other that weapons can't be out during beast running. It could be something similair to my inabilty to get the beastrun jump sequence to play.

    NINJA_DUALWIELD_BACK is a "command" that lets us run around in a demofile with weapons out.
    BEAST_DUALWIELD_BACK just doesn't work at all, that may be because I have the wrong syntax.
