In both cases the soloers weren't hurt for very long and the price of crafting a notice is minor compared to the two other things I mentioned.

There's more threads in the archive on the subject, this debate has being going on a long time. Even though we are "debating" solo vs forced teaming I think the larger root of this conflict is how the Incarnate system is not very friendly to people who have a ton of alts. Having a whole stable of alts that you are constantly rotating through is going to make Incarnates a lot less appealing then to someone who has 1 or 2 mains. I don't think the problem is totally about I'm being forced to team, a big (maybe major) portion of the angst is being forced to pick which of your characters to invest the time into turning incarnate.
This is the only time in the games history that Alters have been locked out of a system in this way. IMHO of course. -
When Inventions were first introduced pool C and pool D recipes were only available at the completion of a Task Force or Trial. Actually you only got a random recipe from that pool. You weren't even gaurented a recipe you could use, or a recipe you could even sell for a nice chunk of profit.

OP head to City Hall in Atlas Park and find the SG registrar.
Click the "Show me all of the registered Super Groups" button.
Click the Top 100 Supergroups button. From this list you can find some successful SGs that list recruiting information.
If you are unhappy with the SG you are in just find a new SG. There's a bunch of SGs out there that are just going to let you play your way and build whatever toon you want. I think you could find one of those SGs from that list.
*I don't know GuildAngels they just had the best message out of the SGs at the top of an alphabetically sorted list. -

Corrupted Lightning Bolt has a long and visually distinct animation. He raises his right hand up slowly over his head, stares at it, and then throws lightning at his feet. Here is a frame from the Apex of the animation.
In theory it should be possible to see the animation starting and move out of the way. In games were you fight a solo boss or the boss is way bigger then the other NPCs it's pretty easy to see the animation and move away. When the boss is the same size as every other model on the map and the players are spamming all that FX it's almost impossible to tell the lightning bolt animation form a sit emote. -

Well that groups real fear was about a market being added to the game. Those people didn't want to participate in that system and at the time they made their cash selling SOs at the proper store and TOs at the Hero Corps offices. High level TO's went bye bye when Inventions came around and all those people left the game claiming that the Devs removing high level TOs has robbing them of future Influence earnings and forcing them to use inventions.
On proofread it sounds like I'm talking about a lot of people, it was like 4 or 5 really really vocal people. -

Today I ran my first Cuda and the MM had to be convinced to use the temp power. There must have been at least a 20 minute debate about whether all the temp powers were passive after pointlessly beating on Reichsman for god know how long, despite going over that we needed to use temp powers at the beginning of the mission.
We finished in 2 and a half hours.
I always get a bunch of people saying they only got a passive power. I'm now wondering if they have 4 powers but are just seeing the top most power in the list and thinking it's the only power they got. -
Even if the new slots added to a server COULD NOT be purchased with Vet Rewards I would be super happy and buy every slot offered. I wonder, sometimes, if all the Free Character Slots people have saved up in their Vet Rewards is the reason we havn't gotten the slot cap per server raised. Right now I have 5 slots saved up, if the Devs allowed 5 more slots per server they wouldn't make a penny off of me.

I want to throw in a big NO to F2P that gives away every zone for free. I don't mind opening the game to freeloaders, but make them pay some money before they can get into Talos or IP.
That was JackHeroMMO2's biggest mistake, the freeloading jerks are able to get into every zone without spending a penny. -

That's a good point about Eartha Kitt although they retconned catwoman for the movie and made her white.
I know we've found a few that show up before Black Manta, but if he actually has the blood on his hands, from the offspring of the star of the comic no less, he should get the label of first black super villain. Moses Magnum never did anything the villainous, he may have tried, buy Black Manta did the most Villainous thing sooner then any other black villain.
Maybe we need to split this into two categories. First Black Villain and First Black Super Villain. -

The Devs could go F2P in a very very slow manner. Just make the Costume Creator free to everyone at first. The only good thing about that F2PMMO I can see is you can play with the the costume creator all you want and not have to worry about getting ahold of a new trial accountant every week or two.
Start small and then add more to F2P if that is the way the game has to go. Giving free access to the costume creator isn't going to hurt the game, and compared to the other two herommos ours is the best.
