    AE would be just as bad, the ticket drop rate just isnt high enough for AVs/GMs to make up for how long they take to kill. A single spawn, which can be killed in a matter of seconds, will have a higher avg ticket gain.

    As far as your mention of farming, not really. Farming in this game needs AoE, u might be able to PL pretty well but i dont see you making a lot of inf.

    Both of the builds are awful. But if u have iPowers u could still do it.

    u seem to be chasing bonuses and failing at that. But also underslotting ur basic powers.

    This. The 2nd mish is the only one thats not almost all s/l. And u only need to rush and kill 10 targets in that. Barrier covers u wonderfully.

    On the first page for brutes there are two threads titled solo MoITF, both were done with SS/fire (and its SS then fire or FA, these are brutes not tanks) hopefully that answers the first question.

    Soloing a normal ITF is easy, hardest part would be getting filler imo. Just need decent dmg and decent survivablity. I would expect ur build could do it (i havent looked tho)

    Its a weapon set, so it would suffer from redraw. The things that make /fire so strong would cause redraw, making them not as strong. Not to mention gloom is awesome, but redraw makes it...not awesome.

    It's not burn thats awesome. Its FE

    Burn IS great but FE is (imo) the single best power in the game.

    It actually allows you pass the dmg cap, yes...PASS the dmg cap. By what roughly equals 300% extra dmg.

    Of course, during a good chunk of the game it adds only 50% or so more dmg than BU, i think.
  11. Yeah, monsters are generally just weak GMs. So...cant be that hard. Likely very easy if you use lore.

    However, some of the monsters have pretty high res i think. Which can be a problem, a difference of 0% s/l res and 20% is all thats needed to make a GM unsoloable on my SS/fire/soul without lore.

    This. FA with IOs and barrier is an extremely tough character, possibly tougher than the scrapper, since barrier allows for 25% more res on a brute.

    This is also very important. The thing about cims is that very few ppl can actually stand in a spawn of them (with at least 1 boss) indefinitely because of their massive -def and high DPS. Without attacking or using barrier, my SS/fire/soul last's no more than a minute or 2 in a spawn with 1 or more bosses.
    This means the best thing to do is kill everything u can as quickly as possible. Because is not only means u are getting attacked less often, it means your def is getting debuffed less often too. Basically ur are even MORE survivable.

  15. For just about anyone in the game the only way to build for more dmg is getting +rech (procs as well) for the most part you can build for a nice chunk of +rech (50 or more) and still get a very nice amount of def.

    So u either get crap def and get slightly more +rech and a few more procs. Or you get a nice amount of +rech as well as +def.

    Imo, is applies for almost everyone in the game. A few exceptions do exist tho (ill/ trollers and all doms want +rech before anything)

    Sadly this is true (i like doms more than both but thats me) i actually got CoV mostly BECAUSE of MMs.

    They might say its because of server load, and that is at least partly true i would expect. But lets face it, people are more likely to pay money for these ATs.
  18. If you can run at +4/x8 i dont think it will affect ticket rates, as long as the mish is set up to have less ambushs, not by a lot anyway.
  19. A friend and i did some math, and if its right getting someone to 50 will now take 4 hours rather than 3.
    But that would need some testing, and i plan to do quite a bit to min/max my map (FIRE!) again.

    So yeah, its a change and its their but it wont kill us off.
