Even with 90% res a large +4 ambushs with enough bosses in it will still be able to kill you. But thats what purples insp are for.

If someone is having problems it's their job to find figure out what it was, and, as the option to suppress effects would offer, fix it.

In short it's server side. Last night during the invasion i would get powers lag when i wasnt even close to ANYTHING. Just being in the same zone resulted in lag.
But my guess is Im wrong.
And yes, allowing players to adjust this for themselves would be best (i for one really love the animation for barrier yet its getting other people sick). But it might be really difficult to code and stuff, who knows. -
Once i got soft capped on my /FA def debuffs because a non issue. Attacks have such a small tohit a critter will be dead long before they can get a single attack to hit. Not to mention dark oblit (from soul) has AoE -tohit with is pretty much extra def. DM/ does an even better job by adding a ton of this for ST taking care of bosses which, with such epic AoE, are the only things that cause any possible threat at all in an average mob. Imo you wanna build /FA for survivability, still get some +rech of course, its offence is just that awesome already.

Not only are the power trays grossly over-filled with way too many active, click-type powers, but managing all that while fighting is getting to be a challenge. Keeping track of recharges and when to use what, with long-, medium-, and short-recharge powers -- sometimes with Hasten on, sometimes with teammate buffs changing the recharge rates -- is getting complex.
If they're not going to automate more functions in the game, they ought to regard power tray space and (for want of a better word) the player's mindspace as critical territory and carefully consider each proposal to crowd another thing into. The players need to be able to assess the battlefield and opponents' abilities and actions, the mission objectives, teammates' actions and capabilities, and the storyline as well, and all of that has to be done very, very quickly.
Please make as many new powers as possible passive -- even if that means somewhat weaker. A power that crowds another, pre-existing power out of your tray or your regular rotation isn't as strong as it first looks, is it? And a power you don't remember to use is the weakest of all. -
A lot of slots where i wouldnt use them. And soul drain NEEDS more. Looks like you wanted to be within 1 purple of s/l/e/n soft cap?

I know that the first week or so i20 came out i got something like 8 purples (prolly 50/50 in/out of trials). Looking back most of them where stun, hold, or sleep. But i figured random is random.

Perma hasten isnt needed, its really quite overrated. But i think you need 110% from sets or so. No idea on the dark attack chain.

I have no idea what to expect. I'm trying not to think to much about it because i dont want to get my hopes up. And I'm just not really sure how this is all gonna pan out. Will iPowers make us insanely OP that literally any toon, with just SOs, could solo multiple AVs at once. With the new content they release being infinitely more difficult than even baf and lambda. Or are we just going to be getting a moderate, yet still epic, increase in power like we have so far, future trials only being slightly harder than baf/lambda for just the first day or 2. Let’s face it none of the new iSlots are on their own more powerful than an equal tier alpha. (In the normal content this is even more apparent) And none of the new incarnate content is really that hard.

People have posted plenty of softcapped WP builds.
But you want s/l/e/n soft cap. If you cant afford that then you want s/l, if you cant even afford than then e/n. -
Yeah, this isn't right.
They dont seem to be very good at balance. Something is OP so they nerf it out of existence.
But i guess if you think about it it's still the best. More dmg > anything else. That’s how the game works, dmg is the best form of mitigation, control, debuffs, everything. Having a mob die faster is much better then reducing there +rech slightly. But thats why dmg in all of the interface procs would have been the best. But who knows, maybe thats A LOT more work.
I at least learned one thing, never trust Ustream casts. -
Hopefully this big a nerf wont make it into live and it will be like normal AoEs. Because they isnt balance either.
Of course a more pessimistic idea would be that they are also going to be nerfing other AoEs, just didnt get that on test yet (something tells me they wouldnt do it like that but, who knows) -
They would have done it even if nothing on the forums mentioned it at all.

Used sleet on a pylon i got 42 dmg.
On a mob only 1 guy got the dmg. -

It should be possible, that's what i would hope they do as well. One second might still be a little fast, 10 is WAY too slow imo though.

If people arent going to unlock trees just because t4 takes forever there is something wrong with us. :P -
I would think so. Thats why an emp was able to kill a plyon in 1:30.

Actually, i dont think it is quite possible to make a boss thats only fire dmg without doing 1 of two things. Addings a heal/god mode OR going with the willpower rez...you dont want guys with +20% or so tohit (yes, actually tohit) and +dmg. Even so, it's insanely easy to get soft capped from nothing but insp in a farm maybe 8 small purples for an entire mish.
