So my main is Mind/psi/psi, originally mind/psi/soul but with vills be able to access hero epic powers i had to go with psi for themantic reasons but now after some time i realise that /psi epics suck. Link minds is pathetic...ooo 6% def....yeh great. Psi tornado is pretty pants aswell. And the rest are just blah!

Here is the build....

Im still unsure on what to do, and i am always dubious when it comes to changing my many because, well, she rocks and i dont wanna change her then go 'S hit, now she is awful. Time to waste loads more money changing her back.'

Personally I'd take Summon Tarantula instead of Disruptor Blast. Move the Ragnaroks to Psychic Scream. Five-slot Summon Tarantula with 4 Expedient Reinforcement (the Acc/Dam and the three with */Recharge in them) plus the Dam/Rech Soulbound Allegiance. You get same total recharge buff from Expedient Reinforcement that you lost from the Positron's Blast, plus with the amount of recharge you have you'll have your Toxic Tarantula out pretty much permanently. I think that'll add more to your total damage than Disruptor Blast, especially if you take Reactive from Interface.

If you do take Reactive, drop Mesmerize for Levitate and slot it with 5 Decimations. Reactive will make any Mesmerized enemy wake up pretty much every time. Levitate will do Smashing damage which is good against most robots, which resist Psi.

Not sure why you have four slots in your defense toggles. Drain Psyche should make the extra End enhancement and recovery set bonus from GotA superfluous. Change one of those to a Karma -KB and you can replace the BotZ in Fly with a Winter's Gift 20% Res to Slow.

I think I'd replace one of those Fortunata Hypnoses in Mass Hypnosis with the Placate Proc. Probably the Sleep/Recharge, you'll still be at the ED cap for Sleep and you'll only lose 1 second on Recharge.

Personally I'd put that last set of Kinetic Combats in Boxing instead of Brawl. It doesn't make a difference of course, since you're not gonna use either. That's just me.

Issue 16 made me feel like this.

slotting the fortunata proc in a non-agro sleep will cause anything it fires on to be agro'd when they wake up. so, bad idea.

I had a mind/psi/ice build i made for a friend lying around i modified to use mace mastery for the OP, try this:

You sure it's not just the Placate wearing off and, since Sleep doesn't PREVENT aggro if you walk in front of them, they aggro normally?

it normally doesnt matter, but on like an rsf if you are trying to keep the phalanx slept(who have linked agro) you risk them all turning on you.

and its not just them, regular longbow do this too but the threat is alot less significant.

That doesn't answer my question, it just tells me why it would be bad.

...ok my statement was an answer as to why it would be bad, your question was:

You sure it's not just the Placate wearing off and, since Sleep doesn't PREVENT aggro if you walk in front of them, they aggro normally?
yes, i am sure.

why the pet over the aoe blast?

Disruptor Blast is, to use your words, pretty pants. Compared to Psionic Tornado, which you want to lose, it barely does any more damage at a cost of an even longer recharge and causing redraw. The Toxic Tarantula does as much or more damage as Disruptor Blast with every attack it uses (one of which happens to be a targeted AoE just like Disruptor Blast), and with your recharge you'll have it out practically perma.

Oh right, i see then.
Do you have a better suggestion for a epic/patron pool for mind/psi then? Apart from ice.

If you're dead set on having a targeted AoE, Ice is the only option that will let you keep your soft cap.

Its not so much the targetted AoE, i just need an extra dmg power and psi tornado isn't enough. Unfortunately i cant stand ice, so id never take it.

Im more inclined to go mace, soul, or fire

I think you're underestimating how much damage a pet can add, especially since you're taking Reactive. Plus there's the resist debuff in Poisonous Ray.

..was gonna say take ice because of sleet and ice storm, and the armor. Truely epic, specially while reactive is totally ****** up.

Hmm well i have never really had a pet, and i dont really feel that inclined to trust it to do alot of damage lol.

On the matter of reactive. Im not going to take a specific power set to take advantage of somethign that will probably be corrected with the next issue.

Okay, I tested it, just for you, Madamme! The placate proc does NOT cause aggro.

Even without taking advantage of the current Reactive procs, Sleet+Ice Storm is pretty strong. MH+DP+Terrify+Sleet+Ice Storm+Psi Scream/PSW = Dead things. Reactive just gets your end result quicker.
