I'd previously had this arc reviewed by another but after his feedback, I practically went in and did a complete overhaul of the arc. When I made it, I scrapperdom in mind as I am a huge scrapper/brute/tank fan, but I did manage to tear through it with my blaster. Finally, If you run this arc, than I strongly recomend bringing a tank for the last mission, especially if you have a large team, it's meant to be hard.

Description- In order to take down one of the Rogue Isles most notorious Villains, a hero must uncover the weakness of the foe. Unfortunately, there’s only one way to do this, gain his trust by going rogue.
Note:
I did this mission on my Dark/Dark Corrupter on difficulty level 1. I did die several times mostly in the last mission but I was able to complete the missions with an underpowered squishy


MISSION ONE

Notes: Over all a good mission. You may want to have a "Tech" instead of a "Magic" desk in order to leave your resignation on in order to mach the Longbow Base better.

MISSION TWO

"You've been receiving numerous calls from the Rogue Isle's villains requesting you to join them, and Brody was one of them?"
"I don't like this..."

Battle Text:
"[NPC] Icer: Brody need not destroy you worms. We've found another more than capable of extinguishing you."

Notes: A challenging end boss the NPC's really helped. Also in a defeat boss mission you should remove their self-rez power, in order to have a more satisfying and complete end to the mission.

MISSION THREE

Robra’s Text:
"[NPC] Robra: You? I knew you couldn't be trusted! Someone inform Brody!"

"Wow you did it! On this hard drive holds the information needed to stop one of this world's greatest threats. You've done well."

Notes: A kill all was a bit of a challenge with custom characters, but I managed to do it and take down Robra. But it took much longer to complete this mission than I am comfortable with.

MISSION FOUR

"After this is all said and done, everyone will know that you defeated him, and I'll spread the truth of the events that occurred here."

Note: Again I would not have a self-rez power on a boss that you need to defeat in order to finish the mission or story arc. It is very anticlimactic.

Summary: I see that these characters are based off your own characters, and when I was playing the mission it felt it was more about your characters than mine. This was very evident in the last mission as only having Red Legend there allowed me to complete the mission. I think more personalization bringing the player more into the mission and playing down your own personal characters would make this a five star mission.

I love the originality of the player made missions (I went on one that was a parody of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory ) But the content and mission mechanics is the same Ol' same.

It sounds like they're letting us have access to *mission maps*. Especially ones that are already marked up with spawn point instructions.

So, can you think of a mission where one of the maps was the hospital that had enemy spawn points?

If the answer is no (I can't think of any), then it's unlikely to be a usable map.

At that point, we'll have to suggest one. Which is a good thing for the Devs, because I'm sure their writers would like to have access to more maps for the stories they write. So, I can see suggested maps being like the suggested costume threads.

But first, let's see what maps we actually get. We'll certainly know by Open Beta.
