the same may apply to say a team with two pff-ers. any team without a blaster, ss melee or emp/therm or some form of auto hit -def will have to deal with a tie.

I'm all for the No TS + Yes DR rules. This would definitely make me start looking for a partner to join in.
As for the mentioned no two stalkers rule, I think that's crap.
At this level of play, we should not be looking to legislate team composition.
I'd love to see two stalkers that think they can take on 2 masterminds (maybe a trapper and a storm), or an pain and a fort. The fact is, with VEATs, and mastermind pets, the 2 stalker team is not even an auto-tie. -

rad is trash against a competent opponent. basically any other corr will kill a /rad corr... including a kin. -
my ninja/psn and my necro/storm used to be great team pvp toons.
with the +res given to everyone except mm's and melee's, it's just a farm target now. -
how to really fix energy assault:
damage normalization across the board based on animation times. make the baseline elec, normalize for aoe potential ACROSS THE WHOLE SET.
replace pb with the defender version on a faster recharge timer. +to hit, +dmg, +special.
energy assault is now fixt. -

Well my MA/SR Scrapper was doing well enough under I12, and was quite good under I13, but now under I14 the bloom is definitely off the rose. Currently, you can't stack up Defense like you could under I12, and you effectively have no Elusivity at all (10 points may as well be 0), so SR is worse off then it has ever been. Not that it was at any point overpowered or uber, but under I12 and I13 it was at least playable.
Under Issue 14, forget about it.
Back to the drawing board.
P.S. My Bane was surprisingly good under I12, but ever since I13 he's been kind of a joke in PvP. Back to the drawing board with him, too. IIRC, Banes don't get squishy-Resistance or Elusivity, what little Defense they have Diminishes so they are essentially defenseless under new PvP. In I12, so long as you kited, you could do quite well.

im not showing up on test until the retarded +res in no dr matches is removed. it's ridiculously boring. in the kick off matches i was getting spiked by dumb's blasters and it got retarded enough that i would just switch around, heat ex and solo ready for war's bad blaster with some help from our emp. it was boring. capped resists and being spiked by only three people = lolz. yeah, we played with capped res villainside in the early days with the 2 therms + 1 sonic lineups, but then you had 8 people spiking targets. playing therm used to be half exciting. it used to be damn tough against a good team like rens, gmw or lolvirtue. shielding the 2-3 stalkers in our team is not a challenge.
...and dying to a non-deterministic spike requires effort (non-deterministic being one that does not involve tk or a kb, when you can't do anything and any idiot with arrow keys, f and an AS bind can get to you).
so yeah.
after the +res in no DR matches is removed, i'll consider coming back.
