Though I know that the Jump travel power is the fastest one, I've had few characters with it. And my latest character won't bother with a travel power until she reaches her 30's. Until then I'll be using the Jump Pack temporary travel power, obtained from the Good Vs. Evil edition.
It's so practical but it only lasts 30 seconds and takes so long (150 seconds) to recharge...
What I'd like to know is how to best use it - quick bursts maintaining the altitute or using it all to reach the highest point (and then deal with the consequences; no worries, I can heal myself), reach rooftops and higher points from which to better aim the next jump, or what?
Thanks for the input, folks! -
Awesome!
I laughed so hard, gave my day a good start! -

Hi, I recently resubbed and would like to know about the new difficulty settings.
How do the difficulty settings work when I'm in a group? Specially the setting "number of heroes to which I'm equivalent". -
There's one very important thing when copying the backed-up game into your new system: you need the Windows registry entry. Otherwise, every time you run the game, it'll try to download everything again.
You'll find all the information needed in the Paragon Wiki:

I liked the colors very much - but it's lame having to google them. There should be an explanation in-game.
And me too: always had trouble finding out which SO is which (a quick and simple mouse-over explanation would be nice). -
But what puzzles me is that this information (orange) is useless: why would I want to know about an opposite faction character that cannot team up in the zone where I am, where the mission is? This other character has the GR expansion but hasn't crossed to my side?
-
I'm sorry but I don't understand the Orange. Could someone help?

Quote:I haven't ToT'ed yet.If you're looking at ToT zombies - no debt protection.
If you're looking at event zombies - there is. Or is supposed to be. Just had one not too long ago on Pinn, and yeah, there's no debt protection showing.
As for the event zombies, I am not getting the debt protection. I've already reported the bug. -
Thanks, people. I'll verify the debt protection and report it as soon as possible.

NO! I've just died AGAIN and my bonus XP bars ARE disappearing!
WTF?!?!? -
Debt had better been switched off, or else!!
Man, lvl 30? And I was feeling so awesome being lvl 20 in Praetoria!
Thanks, guys. I'll surely discourage other lower lvls such as I (below lvl 30) from facing these monstrosities - in small and uncoordinated groups. -
Are the zombies supposed to be *that* difficult? And am I getting XP debt/loss of XP bonus everytime I die from their attacks?

Wasn't Manticore the bad guy that betrayed all, killed Sister Psyche and banded to Recluse's side?? ?? Or that's just in the comics?

* Villaingroup Name: Kargatane
* Leader and officers: Azalin Rex (@necator) and Plas Mon (@empresss)
* Preferred Method of contact: through in-game email or private message to either toon or global handle.
* Description: the Kargatane is a secret organization created by the Dark Lord Azalin Rex that serves as his informers, infiltrators and executioners.
Azalin Rex and his Kargatane are part of the Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) campaign scenario Ravenloft.
We're starting, so we need villains to help improve the VG. Our base already has a medbay and workbench. Soon we'll have teleporters to some of the trickiest locations to get to, like Mercy Island and Port Oakes.
We're interested in mature and kind players using all ATs and from all origins - but if you wanna role-play a bit, bring in your undeads, werebeasts and vampires!
We'll be ready to help you answering questions about the game, teaming up, lackeying or malefactoring and donating infamy to lowbies.
So, if you are interested in joining a new VG, role-play a bit or just hack'n slash, send us tell! -
Hello! I'm here announcing the creation of the Kargatane, a VG in Freedom.

(...) A better post [requesting fan art] would turn the speech inwards and focus on your own feelings.
"Would you please consider drawing my toon? I really enjoy him and he means a lot to me. I always wondered what he would look like drawn out, but I am still having trouble getting it myself.
If anyone would like to do a sketch of my character (...), I can provide any details the might be necessary. I would really enjoy it if anyone took on the project and I'd be very grateful. Thank you."

If you Must have art for your character (and who doesn't? >.>Offer Something in return You don't need money all the time; use the barter system. I've done a couple "Virtual Commissions" before, IE, the person paid me in game money. There's also Powerleveling, Web Design, Homework doing, (Yo, I'm leet at math, I'll do your calcus homework! <.<
Influence/Infamy trading, Hami-O's, Halloween Salvage (What artist isn't a sucker for an extra costume?) and on and On. There are any number of things that an artist might find valuable enough to do a piece for you. If you can't do art yourself to trade, chances are good you have Something to offer in it's place. I cannot pay for a pencil work of my dear character - that would be what, 50 bucks at least? So, I'm creating this post to see if a good soul out there would like to do it. In return, we could agree on me doing something for you
Here's some pictures of her to give you, talented artist (no pun intended, just joking), an idea of what I'd want. if you get interested, send me a private message and we'll talk!
