Don't pvp much ever since i13 or 14? so i'm not sure on the proper etiquette
it was my understanding that whoever is in a pvp zone is fair game
RV was dead so i decided to work on pillboxes for badges
on third pillbox, got attacked and killed by player
i think no big deal and great, because i have someone to battle in pvp
awhile later, i attacked someone who was apparently in RV for badges or some other reason than pvp, and that person got upset with me and started broadcasting about how rude i am and they were going to get their main pvp'er and kick my ****
i rarely broadcast in RV and didn't respond because of his attitude
i am sorry if i did something wrong, although i think he may have overreacted
i don't think i am a rude person, but i may be ignorant on the ways of RV
so if any regular PvPers could respond on the proper etiquette, i would appreciate it -

i've played both sets in pvp in the past, but been away from pvp for last few months
heard rumors that the damage of the Fire Blast set for blasters was going to be lowered
has this happened?
if so, have they also lowered damage for the Fiery Assault set for doms?

took out taunt since you didn't have in your build
also took out the Glad A +3% def since it is a bit expensive
this build is soft capped to S/L and about 42% to melee
still have 4 slots left to do whatever you want, procs in attacks, kismet acc, etc

Actually, the lag has been better as of late. I was getting pretty upset with virtue a month or two ago. Even the ITF has been almost lag-free the last two times i've done it.
Not saying that this correlates with you being away from the game, but...

Hey All,
MA and /regen are both new powersets for me and my character is currently at level 27.
Looking at others builds, it seems as if almost everyone takes the fitness pool. I'm not against the fitness pool and i can't think of any of my characters that don't have it. My /WP brute has it as well. But, I would rather have 3 powers from other pools if possible.
My questions include:
1. Does Health give any noticeable improvement in regen rate? Or is it not that significant when you add in all the other regeneration that you have?
2. Is stamina needed if i have Quick Recovery, Miracle unique, Numina unique, and PS chance of + end? I will also have other recovery set bonuses. Influence is not an issue.
This is for pve, although i may want to pvp with it later, and would take fitness in second build if i do so.

I still consider myself a pvp noob, but here is my experience:
i have a fire/fire blaster and has done fine in pvp-reached a rep of 400 a month or two ago
/fire doesn't help much, but your primary is great for quick fast damage
there are better combos for blasters but you should do ok
also, i agree that Cold epic is the way to go -
have a few FAs at 50, including fire/stone tank, dark/fire scrapper and fire/fire brute
the fire/fire is by far the most fun, but if built with only SOs or gen IOs, would seem too squishy for me
if you are on a budget, i would go with dark/fire
it is a fun build and having 2 heals helps a lot
if you want to spend a billion+, go fire/fire
or go with the fairly common ss/fire, they are used for farming for a reason -

Hey all,
Please advise me on this proposed build. It is mainly for RV and will do some arena matches. I pvp some, but not sure on best slotting. I know fire/fire is not the fotm for doms, but would like to give it a try.
In particular i was wondering about the Chance for Hold proc in Ring of Fire, does that mess up my main hold?
I will be able to afford this build, but the Glad Armor TP protection IO is difficult to get. What should i do with that slot until i manage to get that IO?

Virtue did have a higher population last night, at least when i logged in
i didn't have any problems with lag, but 2 people on my team complained about it
i play with them often, and they usually have no problem
also, several people broadcasted that they had lag issues
so, yes, there probably was a problem with virtue last night -
wish i would have seen this thread earlier

i pvp on a casual basis, usually RV
currently leveling a Mind/Emp for pvp (level 35 atm)

actually, i just took a 50 ss/elec out of retirement
haven't played him in over 2 years
i just io'ed him out with about a 3 billion build, finished it yesterday
he did great soloing rikti missions last night (+2/x8)
haven't pushed him above that yet, but i think he will be able to handle more
it seems on a farming scale, he will be better than my ss/stone, but not as good as my ss/sd -
ohh, and btw, my pools include fitness
also has fighting, leadership and leaping -
at work, so don't have build on me
going off top of my head:

steadfast prot in tough 3%
4 slotted kin combats in brawl and boxing 3.75% each

just wondering if the force feedback io is working as intended
my understanding was that it is 10% chance of going off for every enemy that is affected by the power
i have a lot of alts with footstomp and it seems to hit as above
i now have a BS/SD scrapper with the io slotted in Shield Charge
was just testing it in ae and it was going off only about 10% of the time i used the power instead of for each enemy
could this be because SC is a pseudopet?
