we will see, flexables would be quite interesting, most games avoid them because they have kind of wonky animations, but i really would like to see them as part of a natural assault set, maybe pistols/whips? we know nothing now, but i plan on making a demon mm(who turns good) and if whips come to doms in some form of assault set, im rolling one.

Quote:well, i join you in your dislike of twitter, but im thinking the currently non-functional dev digest is more to blame than anything. hopefully once it is functional,we will see that info coming out again on the home field. im all for both, or at least for the devs to post the info here after they twit.(and yes, i know its tweet, but i find my verb to be more appropriate as to the average content of a twitter update)Issue 16 went into close beta; announced on Twitter by Positron.
Character creator blocked off to those not in closed beta; announced on Twitter by Babs.
Now my searchfu is severely lacking combined with defunct dev digest, I can't find this information anywhere on the forums that isn't linked back to Twittter. I'm probably jumping the gun here, but I'm not liking this trend. -
the vault. im sure it will be great for some people, and id probably eventually use it, but it is neither a feature i want nor one i object to.
the cathedral of pain. dont belong to a group that would be big enough to really run this, and my sg doesnt base raid, but for people who do, it would probably be nice, and hitting the full rularru (he was the end boss, right) would probably be nice. either way i dont hate it, and dont love it. -
can i just say that Keetsie Braz da Cunha has a very cool name and if i worked there, i would address her by her full name at all times, i would likely be stabbed within a week.

well, this is a little disappointing, but not huge, i already saw the zek videos, and am really happy about the elec armor changes, so in total its not that bad, and its not like im bereft of other games to play at the moment, so i'll live. I do wish we had been told about this a bit sooner, given that myself and several others in the comics con threads had mentioned wanting to do use the non closed beta functionality it would have been nice at the time for someone to have let us know not to get our hopes up. but again, my main brute is an ss/elec, so overall, im quite happy.

if tabula rasa was till around, yes, as at stands, aion , while so pretty, just seems like a new lineage with wings, and guild wars has no monthly feel, and gw2 is supposed to continue that. so really it wouldnt pack the value added for me.

you guys have more self control than me, id have been shouting yes and telling them to go to the tailor to try it out...i'm getting corrupted by you guys, that's the ticket :P

actually i do miss the dev digest, but different things take different time, so i accept it as the inevitable reality.

next time someone scratches up your car in a parking lot and doesn't leave a note, you should let the person who gets their plate number so that you can get the damages covered know that they are a rat. absolute moral positions are FUN!

got my reroll of my brute to 35, now i can get into vanguard and start working on his "redemption" story.
got my 4 year old grav/ff troller to 15, taking my time on that one. and finally, got on a really good mothership raid, it was small but we dropped u'***. really i could give a hang about the exp, but the abundance of pugs is kind of nice, even though i didnt really pug this time. beyond that i was kind of in a sacred 2 mood this weekend, so took some break time.
ok, what exactly is dirty about the name of the rikti gm? -
Quote:this has been roundly and soundly opposed by a large and vocal number of posters, and would cause far more canceled accounts than it would draw in, duel spamming is annoying enough in the other fantasy mmos, lets leave them there.I think PvP could have a lot of potential in Going Rogue. I can understand having specific zones for heroes to fight villains in PvP, but I see no reason why there should be the same mechanic with Rogues. If two players cross paths, no matter where they happen to be at the time, they should have to option of challenging the other to a duel.

you are right, once co announced customization, they just were able to go in and program it in that fast, programming totally works like that, it had nothing at all to do with ncsoft giving them more funds, alternate forms of revenue(da boosters) or an almost tripling of the staff, it was just a reaction to co, i can tell you are on the way to becoming a productive poster here.

Quote:good plan, now if anyone has an old copy of the snes game terranigma lying around... in never got localized for us. and the only nutter on amazon selling it wants 1200 dollars for it. I suspect that game wont sell.
I know everyone and their mothers are welcoming you all, but it has a special meaning for me. Now I know where to come to get people to send me stuff from overseas! :P
just being silly, welcome in. -

the overly religous people who are playing a game with magic origins, missions where you protect pagan deities, fight with a godlike extra dimensional entity, or (in cov) consort with demons and commit acts of terrorism? and lets not forget that this game regularly hosts large GLBT events. I'd like to think that i'm overly religious and have yet to be annoyed by it, in fact i like it because it means we have a diverse and interesting player base and a far ranging story, so i think that complaint may rely on a unfortunate stereotype(and may work for EA's marketing branch :P ) rather than an accurate snapshot of a existing coh demographic. do we really have that many people of that degree of offense taking are still playing the game? and as i said, a nondescript, non-enterable "chapel" would cover the issue with minimal specificity to offend.

hmm, looks at post history, welcome back kal.

wouldnt it be "are cryptic and ncsoft getting lazy"? and everything else in the post was wrong and poorly thought out as well, but that always bugs me.

had a close family member die, so viewings and funerals /threaddowner. found out that i have more reliable friends than i had thought, in both quantity and quality.

Quote:eh, its a day job location you stand next to to get a badge. Last i checked dark astoria did not remind me of any funeral home i have been to, yet i get a mortician badge for twiddling my thumbs there for a few days. Frankly it would be preferable for people to get a little mroe relaxed and perhaps we could have a church, a synagogue, a mosque, a buddhist temple and a wiccan set of standing stones, but im not counting on people online to be that open minded. the non-denom chapel is largely a compromise, similar to the way colleges and hospitals handle the situation.[ QUOTE ]
im still bugging for a clergy day job and adding a non-denominational chapel to some part of paragon and rogue.
i figure keeping it general allows people to play it as they want, whether they are priests, rabbis, wiccans/witches or Buddhist monks.
[/ QUOTE ]
So you're aware that generally American "non-denominational chapels" bear no resemblance to non-Christian architectural and artistic motifs, right? I've seen a few exceptions, but most of them are just Christian chapels with the crosses taken down.
