    first removing lvl restrictions from the rwz and hazard zones now, epics unlocked at lvl 50. slowly but surely theyre getting rid of the little perks that came with accomplishing lvl 50...lame.

    same thing happened to me but on posi. we got the "mish completed" pop up but no button to exit, lol. we manually exited but still gave us the same mish.

    same thing happened to me bout a week ago on the same exact mission. we defeated the boss and we got a "mission completed" pop up but, no exit button came up. when we manually exited the mish was stated not completed by posi.

    we petitioned and after 30 mins of waitin all quit ( we tried loggin off and back on but it didnt work and it gave us the "need to talk to ur leader" when we called posi, even when the leader called it in).

    the gm couldnt understand what happened and auto completed the mish for us and didnt get the exit button either. was annoying :b

    hey all i've been looking for a while now and i gave up plus, my router has been giving me problems so the search is taking longer than id like. anyway, i wanted to know if there is any binds out there that will let u target dead enemies for powers like essence drain, dark extraction, etc. if so, could i get the bind command plz? thanks in advanced

    i agree with the OP but,i think drop rates should increase in general. theres a good amount of recipes that aren't even purples that either aren't for sale period w/ around 20 people bidding on them or ridiculously priced. dont get me wrong, Ive been playing over 2 years and have plenty of money saved to purple out my toons but i realize the market can become frustrating and discouraging to newer players.

    giving a decently good recipe drop at the end of each mission, or every 10 mishs or so would be nice. ive had to wait weeks at a time to get certain recipes to drop, get in ticket rolls or purchase through merit vendors just because i refuse pretty much to purchase recipes that are more than 15mill that i need.

    im currently selling 2 purple recipe sets on the bm and the price of the recipes tripled in price from when i first bought / found them. yea its nice making money like that but i just think there should be a better way.

    playing the market just isn't for casual players

    we have 2 computers in our house having difficulty connecting to city of heroes / villians, here is our specs:

    mine: running windows xp home w/ a wireless netgear adaptor wpn311 rangemax, w/ trendmicro virus protection.

    girlfriends: running windows 7 ( was windows xp home ) w/ a built in wireless card, w/ norton internet security.

    our internet provider is comcast who provides us with a modem that we have a wireless router from belkin F5D8231-4 v3000,firmware verison: 3.0.0.7

    the wireless router and modem are in a different room than these 2 computers. what the problem is, is that SOMETIMES we can both connect to the game and most of the time its either my computer that connect or hers. i notice what fixes this problem is unpluggin the router, then plugging it back in. that is annoying to do since we play the game up to 3 seperate times a day sometimes.

    ive tried port forwarding for my computer and sometimes it lets me connect, other times it wont and the same with my girlfriends computer. both of us have city of heroes on our allow list on our virus protection programs and on windows firewall ( even though we only have our virus protection firewall on).

    im at a lost since none of the tips on fixing the internet connection has worked. i even tried forcing a connection by adding " port -13094, and -23094" and again, works sometimes and doesnt others.

    p.s. ever since we started using this belkin router, the problem has begun.

    ok now mids let me open it and heres my opinion:

    cosmic burst slotted with a stun set, hmmm. thats ur strongest attack my build i put a full thnderstike set in there for the 2 range defense bonuses, acc and recov.

    neutrino bolt ur 2nd highest power is slotted 3 times and which isnt using its full potional so again thunderstrike set


    i went with cold mastery due to its frozen armor toggle that gives smashin and lethel defense. since that i picked that, smashin and lethal would be alot easier to reach the soft cap on than just melee.

    i see u went for rech too with those LoTG recipes but, i was close to ur rech without trying really. the red fortunes sets are awesome imo, dam buff, range defense bonus and rech bonus. im only off by 10% from ur build but it can be adjusted.

    heres a build i worked up kinda fast so would most likely need to be adjusted for ur playin style. i went with defense mostly which i always do with my blasters and reached the smashing / lethal defense soft cap, got range to almost 34%, 20% rech, i think 12% dam buff, 36% ish acc. with all the toggles ur running w/ chilling embrace i added a mircale and numnias uniques into health, i use this on ALL my toons except wp or regen or toons that leech endur. i think u might need some extra help in the hp department cause i didnt work that much into it. for some reason mids was being lame with me and would import ur build so cause really comment off it sry.

    anyways, i just like seeing peoples takes on builds to give me new view points / ideas

    i changed some stuff to your build keep in mind this is what i would do since it fits my playing style, alter it as needed. your range defense is soft capped, decent hp bonus, weak dam bonus, decent resistance, good acc bonus too.

    my gf has an io'd out spines/fire scrapper and damn, she does some epic damage. she hates hero side too with the millions of zones, contacts sending u to 5 zones before giving u their cell #, but this actually made her change her mind bout hero side.

    this is a great farm / aoe build. i agree that making this toon a single target fighter would be missing the point of it. just get as much defense as u can for this build for survivability. atm, my gfs toon has around 25% to the 3 postional defenses ( aoe, melee, range) with some decent regen and recov due to physical perfection and the numnias +regen +recov recipe. this is a great build but know it will be an endur hog unless ur built well.

    hi all, ive been thinkin about dusting off my mm. shes a thugs/ta ( weird build ) but she was fun up untill lvl 40ish then, i couldlnt stand her. my pets would die super fast but i had decent survivability. i never knew how to slot MMs and now looking for advice. i notice i had little to no defense on my previous build with only black scorpions epic pool toggle.

    this is a new build i made ( want to stay away from purples ) that has decent defense, provoke to have the badies go for me first and oppressive gloom to help deal with my squishyness. any changes / recommendations are welcome as im kinda at a loss what do do here.

    i stopped playin her for over a year due to an on going issue with her pets that i had petitioned over and over for and i would really like to get her off the ground again.

    hi all just wanted to know if toggle debuffs that have procs in them only fire off when u first toggle on the power or, have a chance to fire off as long as the power is toggled on. im assuming its the same with pbaoe toggle shields, ty in advanced

    i was hoping to stay around $600 since my gf and i have other priorities to purchase first. i think the comp will be good since hell, atm shes runnin on 512mb ram, an intergrated graphics card on a single core 3.0 hp from 6 years ago, lol. we need to run it in safe mode all the time, if that can run it, this one should too no problem.

    hey all, im not familar with amd processors and wanted to get your opinion on how this laptop would hold up playin cox. my gf's current laptop's 2nd ram socket burned out and shes runnin on 512mb atm, each socket can only except 512mb max, lol older system. what were plannin on doing is buyin a low end laptop and upgrade to a better one in bout 6months.

    i was a little confused about this laptop because of the graphics memory. right now she has intergrated graphics memory and the one i was lookin at has dedicated and 128MB display cache memory, 64MB GDDR2 sideport memory, up to 1982MB total graphics memory. i have no idea what the 64mb sideport thing is, lol. anyways heres the link and she only does light internet surfing, listenin to music and Cox will be the most advanced thing that will be done on this comp. thanks all

    everytime a new patch comes out you need to add it to your exceptions list on your antivirus program. annoying as it is, thats usually the reason why.

    check your firewall and make sure its letting the game access it. also, u can try to manually forward the ports the game uses to make the dl go faster. go to the main page of this website, then support, then it will take you to the NCsoft help page. it has alot of info on connection issues.

    hey all ive come back to hero side the last few weeks and wanted to ask what a good non fire/kin build would be. im gonna use the toon to get mine and my gfs toons to lvl 22 usually and just farm. i hear earth/storm is a good one, trying to stay away from ill/ though, any recommendations?
