I always use keybinds to sit them a bit away from BM sometimes dancing or something. I personally love going in the B studio and watching them rain off the roof. need to get like 8 MMs in there sometimes and have someone record from outside the Demon rain.

Tip and Praetorian ambushes definitely feel buggy. Here's to hoping people are reporting them as such.
For TEST one we just ran.
For ghouls thought the bodies and such you cool and since I didn't see any mobs only waited for 4 out of 8 people cause I didn't see a point in making people come in just to leave. This one was pretty cool though and want to set up a team at some point specifically to beat it. Since I was on my new thugs/traps MM and caltraps works great on Ghouls the other 3 people stayed up more then a minute and I thanks to good recharge timing of gang wars and hasten giving me lots of caltraps managed another minute without them, came nowhere near to putting a dent in it just distracted them enough to survive.
Edit: and at least these you don't have to kill, but what about that Clockwork mish with like 40-50 Bosses stacked in one room? I mean a good pug can only handle 2 maybe 3 in a stream with no deaths if you manage to pull that well. -

I admit I got a bit out of hand with my responses but I just hate sarcastic jerks
Oh and also, who here calls asking someone to join your SG threw a tell 'Spamming'?
First off I think people should get to know each other instead of random strangers getting stuck in a room and seeing if they like each other later.
Second most people that send random tells to join an SG to people they don't know is by running down a list of searched characters and spamming tells. Actually during one gaming session recently I got somewhere around 10 tells from the same person in a bit over an hour(I usually reserve spam button for RMT people and special cases) to join their SG, about half as many from another member of the SG. About half of those were with an invite and got 4 invites without a tell. After that I wished I could ignore everyone in that SG and everyone on their friends list just in case. This is the most extreme case I have encountered by not uncommon for me to get 2 or 3 tells from same person about an SG. I mean I fell bad when I accidentally send 2 tells to one person to join a team but SG tells and invites?
Oh and a note about SG above: I actually accepted invite twice and second time actually counted new members and people that quit, in at most 3 minutes there were between 15-18 new members and an equal number of quits but not all the same people so amusing not everyone quit in the same amount of time. -
I am bringing my lv 50 kat/regen Scrapper villain side for badges I can have him Rogue by Saturday, does he need to be or can he run it vig?
considering I have to stay at each for 7 days to get certain badges. He is also newly IO tricked out is only missing a few LotG +recharge and defense ones that I want to only spend whatever he earns on. -
Will bring Party Demons once again for everything 35+ and have a new villian I will bring for the lowest one and maybe for the 2nd lowest.(if he gets high enough)

The fairly new freakshow Super Stunners, sapper might drain faster but they also die much faster and don't rez taking a big chunk out of everything nearby. I know you can avoid the rez by being at range but that doesn't often work on large teams.

Should just have part of the zone turn into a Battlezone and with more people in the area of attack have the attackers try and advance or something.

I personally think it is one of the funniest things in game to get a few demon MMs in the B studio near the window close together so the demons keep getting pushed off creating DEMON RAIN. Yeah thats right where you live it might rain cats and dogs but in the RWZ AE building it rains DEMONS. -
being able to skip attack powers make the biggest arrgo magnet tank you can and slowly run away from your team like your trying to lead the mobs away.

fairly certain Crimson falls in the shard is highest thing in Shard and it goes from 203.9 and underside to 2034.0 from there is a few foot gap between it and next part, discounting that it does go up to 3634.3.
Striga Mountain goes from -32 to 889.6 -
trying to think which zone has a low floor and building hitting height ceiling(opposite of terra volta)

Since things in the shard dominate the top of this(one in particular) what some contenders elsewhere in the cox world? Haven't measured it yet but I think the mountain in Striga is one

Ok since the patch yesterday every time I start the updater I get this:
"Error opening File C:\Program Files (x86)\City of Heroes/Coh.patch
You may be out of disk space or you may be trying to install to a location where you have insufficient permissions"

Since you are running Windows 7, you will likely experience this same issue in the future while updating unless you install the game under the Users/Public directory. Since running the updater as Administrator allowed all the files to download correctly, the issue was most likely one of permissions in the Program Files folder.

contacted tech support and started by turned of user controls-failed
turning all back ground problems-failed
this was after running all the diagnostic stuff and getting in contact with a senior tech adviser.
since attempt 2(2 with tech support 3 or 4 by myself) failed at night I wasn't going to a response from tech support until the next day so I tried to find if I could bypass the Firefox download box to find it was only a history/shortcut for downloads so I searched downloads in the Start menu and found the route folder.
I couldn't figure out how to bypass it right away so I right-clicked the Coh_Setup and noticed a run as Administrator option(I think I tried it before just not through that downloads screen) after I clicked ok a box poped telling me it looked like this program had previous failed to install properly(duh) so it asked if I wanted to try its different recommended settings to fix it(YES!). It ended up taking 10 hours and just finished as I was typing this right before I was going to type it might fail. 3 times the download length wasn't that bad considering all the failed ones.
also make sure to change your power options to stop it from sleeping, I also turned off screen saver and told the display to stay on and darkened it as far as possible.
surprised at how few people here responded, hopeful some important can take note of this so others have less trouble. -
can I post my files on my comp?
maybe the updater version or something with help narrow down what the problem is?
should I mail tech support? cause I am trying to decide on a good budget gaming comp to get that I can get for 400 or less then upgrade when I get another 500 in a few months but earliest I will have the comp is a month and don't want to burn through a month of sub without being able to play. -
No this is a good laptop near recommended system stuff I think. was using the 512 mb ram old desktop to post.

We got a new laptop and I downloaded the client from my NcSoft account page and it came up with City of Heroes Version (null) or something similar and would update and then either get stuck or redo it again. So I found my GvE disc and it did the same thing only without the (null).
Any suggestions?

and school for me ends this Friday, so being up late won't be a prob and actually will be California after a weekend of going to a water park.
