Ok since the patch yesterday every time I start the updater I get this:

"Error opening File C:\Program Files (x86)\City of Heroes/Coh.patch

You may be out of disk space or you may be trying to install to a location where you have insufficient permissions"

solutions?

I get it now every update and I have to click cancel and restart the updater then it switches to fixing files mode. This takes a lot longer though so I would like a proper fix or workaround.

Cool worked this update. Stupid temp file.

An alternate workaround is to copy the updater (cohupdater.exe) to another location (I usually just use a self-made folder inside the CoH one called "updater") and run it from there.
Clear out anything other than the updater (in your chosen alternate location) each time you get the error.
It takes a fraction longer but since the updater just pulls the installation folder from your registry settings you don't really need to do anything extra.
Default install location on windows (I presume people who don't use windows can adapt this method for their own use, I use windows) is:
32 bit (this is what you likely have) "C:\Program Files\City of Heroes"
or
64 bit (You should know it if you have this) "C:\Program Files (x86)\City of Heroes"

Enjoy.

One side uses mind police and will "disappear" you and the other uses poison gas and bombs on civilians. Hamidon? He'll just have a tree eat you. Much simpler. If we're all going to be oppressed and/or killed by someone, it might as well be the walking trees. At least they don't speak in annoying code or doublespeak. They just devour you.
