hmm well everyones probably busy playing with new things. =-0
heres a tenative build i through together, it has 49.4 melee 46.5 ranged 45.6 aoe with all toggles up. 1.05 end usage to 3.03 rec (not sure if that's... good from what i've read about km being end hungry)
137.5 haste with hasten.
Not sure what incarnates to go after yet, but i figure anything that adds haste is priority. im not still not really sure if it's any good. (with burst/charge/FB i would have 3 AOES, so i could lose FB if someone sees a better pool synergy, but body seems crappy apart from perfection. (2 crap powers for one auto.. meh.)

Still uncertain about the APP/EPP Fire blast useful? or melt armor? (figured fireblast over focused burst based on DPA.) wish i could fit more +recharge in somewhere, but i can't afford purple sets.

how do you get the perk that lets you change size/gender as costume options now?
(i have a character i want to go from human to a monsterous form, and being bigger (his frame is tall and slim) would make it look alot better.

Never built for positional always for typed, so a few builds to sort of draft off of would be nice.
clearly recharge is important for KM so i'm taking hasten and will prioritize recharge as much as i can without losing too much survivability.
My previous scrappy is a KAT/WP and is quite hardy, but the lethal resistance makes his damage feel.... lower then people tell me it is, even with his ideal chain (SD,GDF,GC)

Was almost finished with my aura's missions from kalinda and after update, the mission was wiped from my missions.
Am i now to understand that my only option is the buy auras and that i lost my chance to "earn" them?
If so i'm really dissapointed. -
I want to see:
Sweatbands (ala the old simple one horizontal stripe elastic ones, for the forehead and wrists)
Wanted this for a while, but no love in the GLOVE or Head detail options forever.

Purses/messanger bags they do not have to move much (could be more or less, FIXED to the hip selectable left or right side oriented. -
hmm. Well i do have acchiles in my gamblers cut, and i generally run SD/GD/GC and throw in one shot of DA every 10 seconds or so to refresh my full caps. No incarnate when i attempted LR at all. My gamblers cut has the -res proc and 5 makos including lethal. My soaring runs 6 makos and golden a full set of oblits (so 1 proc in each)

i tried my first recently (recluse at end of patron missions) and forget it. I could stand up to it, even with the stupid summons with my kat/wp scrapper, but i couldn't do enough damage to break through and just felt really irritated.

I notice people saying what there dps is (i noticed in one thread a Katana user mentioning 244 dps)
I don't understand how these numbers are being generated (only been here a couple months)
and i thinking figuring out how these are being reached would help me understand what they mean, or let me measure what my own builds yield, in terms of this particular stat.

Kat/wp build, does not cap everything, (a pvp 3% would give 47.7 Lethal/melee e/n and 41.8 f/c
Had 3 slots in strength of will but realized im at 70% s/l resistance without it on, so i took the 2 slots (and 3% less F/c, but im told F/C is not super important) and put them in Waterspout and guardian (waterspout is alot of fun and decent damage it seems, does the -def STACK from my katana strikes?) and the pet power just combines some good bonuses and i usually always take pets. no full stealth (which is occasionally annoying so far. grr...) but im not sure i can remedy that without lots of changes.

I saw this page on paragonwiki so i understand how this can be done i guess..
"The standard form of target_custom_next is to use it to create a keybind or macro of the type of creature you are looking for. For instance:

however, say i want to do something like this, only instead of specific creatures i just want to bind my tab to prioritize looking for eb/boss/lt then default to target next like tab normally does in the absence of those mobs.

anyhow, here is my attempt at a build, keep in mind i have no idea what im doing, and what powers are really important (is the single target confuse useful once you get aoe?)
177.5 rech. crap defenses (16 s/l 18 e/n) i need more slots somewhere i think... one or 2 more in indom will would make it perma for status protection....
crazy accuracy, 4.8 end rec second with drain up (2 seconds from perma) Stealth from combat jumping and superspeed (hover was a LOTG mule also occasionally useful, vengence also a mule)
intended to mostly be in melee with perma Drain p, so i'm not certain if subdue is worth taking either (atm ive got it 5 slotted for a hold set.) without it i'd still have a healthy 167.5 rech with hasten so i suppose i could drop it.)
anyhow, i'd love some imput from a seasoned user of this set.

anyhow, heres an alternate slotting where i drop the purple set in subdual and instead 5 slot the single target confuse. Also, not certain if i should be using Mind probe or TK thrust (more smashing damage sources for things that are resistant? i'm told i can't fight rikti at all or something with this set? )

all sounds promising!
i'm thinking i may try melee because it sounds viable, and i think it fits my idea of the character a bit better.
there are some powers i HAVE to take for the idea, levitate is one of them.
(he's based on Todd ingram from scott pilgrim, thusly he MUST be able to hurl someone into the air, and have wavy spirally mind powers!)
I'd love to see a few builds if anyone wants to post em, and what powers i may be able to skip for a melee type (blapper? blapinator?) build.
Is mesmerize needed once you have aoe sleep/confuse and potentially a single target sleep as well?
Is there a way i can refine my targeting controls (atm i just have tab, or "target closest" i think i kind of need better options like target boss or lt first?)

but i had picked these powers solely on character premise reasons (they look exactly right for the character..)
I've never played a dom, so i don't know how to approach it. Will i be in melee often with this combnation? Is that viable or it is normally a ranged approach?
If melee, i assume a s/l/e defense is what to priority (and just RANGED if kept out of melee?)
what can i expect from these powers? -
this is my original build had 39.9 E and 46 s/l (i already own almost all the pieces minus one or two.)
End cost without the extra toggles is lower (1 even with 3.33 rec) so that i took musclature over cardiac and have no end issues. 85% global haste (155 with hasten) and 74 global accuracy
this one also includes hover for when i feel like hover blastering- the other build drops it for manuv/tactics.
Code:This is the version i made tweaking the template you provided. it caps s/l/E but has end use of 1.38 with 3.32 rec ( i imagine this would require cardiac over musc... i've not tried it.) provides 81.5 global recharge (150% + with hasten) and the inclusion of tactics practically insures you never miss anything, ever (but high enough global accuracy merits you could turn this off if you needed i imagine. Altered a little bit more. Took out the pet purples, added a regen tissue in health to get regen totals over 600. Took out 2 erad in lotus to make it a bit more aoe damaging (added the purple fire proc) This loses me a tiny bit of fire/cold def but its still at a healthy 42.1 meaning if i ever can afford the 3% pvp piece i'll be softcapped there too before barrier or team buffs. used another of the slots freed from the pet purples to put the 6th slot in gamblers cut, and the other for a 2nd slot in water spout giving me a 90 sec recharging -22.7 defense aoe to drop that autohits (should be fun.) I also used flashing steel as well for more aoe.
Not sure on the end usage.. i'd like an opinion from the pros on that, will i be hemoraging end? Can that be rectifyed with an incarnate pool? (cardiac?) or would it be good enough to just go spirtual instead and just take ageless?

i had a a question. Why skip flashing steel? (is this a bad attack?) Also, is shadow meld that useful a power? i figured on a build like that you would rarely need MORE defense, when you already have strength of will?
And where do you get dps numbers (are those values in mids somewhere ? i'm still a bit noobish.)
anyhow i goofed around with it and took out purples and the 2 pvp pieces (i'm poor.) i did add some 4 purples in the patron pet (for bonuses more then anything) I went with lev because it had the hold for gaze and i considered slotting waterspout as an option, but at any rate it's an autohit power so i figured it had some use.
it's not full softcap but close enough (44.9 e/n 43.7f/c and cap lethal/melee)
anyhow here's my cheaper one. If the purples in the pet power are out of price range, or the kinetics i'd say go with your slotting on DA (cheaper and still good) and use the slots in waterspout instead to lower recharge and add multiple procs.
i wish i could get more acc in there somewhere... I've never used tactics as a toggle so i don't know how effective it is at closing the gap with only 9% overall acc bonus.

I'm noticing in my tips since i got a couple level shifts lt's are white and i'm seeing lots of blues... Does this mean i cannot get purple drops as they are sorta "not" even lvl, but are TECHINCALLY (as we are both- 50 i guess.)

soaring dragon has a flip set of 4 kinetic 1 mako 1 lysome en changing the final numbers to
25.8 s/l 40.4 E/N/F/C before incarnate. I decided against my original pool involving shadow meld because i figured i just wouldn't get much use out of it. Where as water spout seems useful straight out of the box with minimal slotting, and i still get a hold for my 2 GAZE to get that extra e/n like i wanted. Also 6 slotted the pet just for bonuses, as it gives good def values.
only 18acc +6 to hit (kismet) but im not certain how big a deal that is with my defense reducing primary. I would not be against dropping the soaring slotting for a full purple set instead to get 15 more acc/10 more recharge but it's out of my price range currently- seems well worth loseing a little S/L when i can just make it up with DA anyhow.

End use 1.02/s vs recovery of 4.45/s is why i did not think i needed body mastery.
maxhp is 147%.2 of base.
did not take hasten/ss because i don't have the room for that much recharge and it seemed like just more to fuss but that would work fine as well.
If you see any holes let me know, or just let me know if you like it. I wasted alot of time stareing at the screen to tinker with it.

same problems. Trials freezing at loading and punting me to login screen, or trials dropping me outright when im fighting the damn final mob costing me my reward.
just started the last few days, never happened before that. Now it happens over and over. -

Hell, carnies especially, the master illus alone can mez a melee toon just with them and the summoned pets. If you did say..+0/4 council, you would pretty much breeze through it. And to make another point, a lot of those mezzers, the psi holds, then have NO positional defence. Then are tagged just psi, meaning if you had that silly ranged def build, they would hit you just as often.
Again though..from that example, it is your playstyle thats wrong. You cant do a carnie or rikti mission on a squishy and expect never to be mezzed...not gonna happen. -
I guess ill go for the clarion partial (im still working on incarnate stuff) Well i faced a carnie tip mission at only 0 +4 with bosses and got decimated. Also a tip mish where tons of ritki funnel in for an ambush at the end and tons of those mezzer bastards and i just always seem to get caught by those effects and then crunched. Even with huge aoe and great recharge it just takes ONE of those effects to be the SupraDeth.

hmm well a complete rebuild on my current ability to make inf (read, extremely poor as this is my only 50) is pretty ugly. i guess the most expensive pieces won't change TOO much (the 5x lotg, miracle, numinas, etc...) ehh... do you have a build you could post for me to work from?
