  1. definatyl get 2 acc in sithen speed, it';s a right pain in the [censored] when you miss and you really do notice it.

    bitter freeze ray, I hear only bad things (and as such didin't take it myself). Avoid it if possible, expecially since your freeze ray recharges quite fast.

    Those end mod in transference are total over kill (unless you got slots to throw around). 2 acc, 3 recharge 1 end mod is fine (I do notice it alot when I'm sitting there waiting for it to recharge even with 3 rech rec ).

    Fulcrum shift you don't "need" recharge in but I wont tell you other wise here. My geuss is with 3 in there you will be able to use it twice per group or so. No recharge I find fine thoguh . Availible when you need it.

    I would slot blizzard for damage htoguh (until I7).

    Apart from that it all looks ok. Attacks would benefit from a recharge each thgouh I find mine too slow with a recharge and haste and sithon speed stacked :P.
  2. let us not forget it also gives resistance to energy and smashing (yes thermal has shields but not ont he mezz protection (5% to cold res though)).

    yeah makes sense. few numbers:

    Assuming 100% bonus (3+3 damage SO 95~, 100 for each maths :P)
    base damage 100

    total damage 200

    with aim, bonus = 160%
    final damag = 100*2.6 = 260

    260/200=1.3 = 30% bonus from Aim.
    I geuss if the damage bonus from the enhancements is a little lower then the apparent bonus will appear to be around the 40% mark.

    Theres alot of things to consider, one of the main factors beign the targets reistances. I assume it's applied before the power is used and so the final damage bonus will be less due to the targets resistance.

    Have a go on some really patheticly weak thing with alsmot no resistance .

    Though thinking about that if you do:
    100 damage to soemhting that has say 50% resist to it. +62% from aim = 162 damage, after resistance = 81 damage (compared to the 50 original damage). Which is 162% :/. So I dunno now hehe.

  6. difficult choice to make, could really use an end recovery but I kinda like the idea of that water spout . Then again vomitting over your opponents doens't quite look to good :/
  7. The pbaoe buff is actually 37.5% 2.5x what sithon power gives. The buff aroudn the target is 18.75% per mob.

    The more you hit ofc the player buff becomes tiny but it's definatly not negligible.
  8. Them accuracies are total over kill in your attacks (with tactics too, you said it was a mirrior of what your friend has too, so 2x tactics?).

    Picks after 32 are easy, you obvioucly want fulcrum shift at 38, 35 is normally transferance but I'm not sure you'll need it with speed boost on (though with ssault and tactics runnign without end red you might need it). If you don't want trasnferance then get ID, your friend gets it to and theres soem nice energy/smashign resistance and hold/immob/knockback protectiont hat your lacking.

    Blizzard you should slot for 3 damage and 3 recharge imo :. If your duing with your friend then the recharge will be really fast, you use blizzard, he does transferance and you get end back, you do transferance and then your full on endurance and fighting almost immediatly. Same would go when he/she used their blizzard. (a slow in blizzard would be nice).

    I'd be tempted to put recharges in sithen power too. Slot your ice storm 3 damage too, sicne it's guaranteed hit.

    Get Hurdle instead of Swift, makes traveling wiht SS easier (jump over obstacles instead of going aruound). No problem when you get inertia reduction thoguh.

    and fulcrum shift, yes it;s a pbaoe buff too but why on earth would you be standing back with the ranged lot and missing out on all the lovely buffs from the spawn too =).

    [/ QUOTE ] Interpret it as you will. I havn't gone and tested it or anyhting. Description is from the hero builder thing. Considering it lasts for 30 seconds I assuem the 10 second bit refers tot he first 10 secodns and the 20 second bit to the final 20 of the 30.

  13. Just to Clarify then.
    Fiery Embrace does NOT have an accuracy improvment
    It does NOT give you 200% damage for the first 10 seconds.

    You activate it and for the first 10 seconds all attacks gain 100% damage
    the remaining 20 seconds only fire "based attack" get the 100% bonus.

    "fire based" itn's clear wether it means fire damage or all damage if the attack has a fire element. With fiery melee thought this is pretty good.

    Build up on the other hand only lasts 10 seconds, gives 100% damage and alos 60%~ acc bonus. It has only 90 second cool down (fiery embrace is 180). So really the bonus is about 2/3 that of firey embrace. Though not all damage is fire based and so we get closer to them beign equal in terms of damage. Imho build up wins since it's nearly equal on damage over time but also has that accuracy bonus. If you don't have fiery melee then build up wins hands down. I'd definatly take botyh but build up fuirst (it is a primary after all, primary generally better than secondary)

    That being said, 30 secs of extra damage on a boss can be better than just 10 seconds of extra damage and acc. However, build up with recharge can usually be availibly for each group (depending how fast you kill things). Build up + blazing Aura+fire sword circle as an opener comined with high fury from the previous group leads to some wicked damage =). Can't do that everytime with FE as the cooldown is twice as long.

    I can't seem to login so I can't check my slotting but I beleive I only 6 6lotted
    Domination/Total Domination/Mass Confusion
    I'm not really sure how total dom and mass confuse would work for a base raid, How long does the raid last etc? as I have 3 slots of recharge in both (that with hasten, one of the powers is usually availible for each bunch of mobs in pve).

    Imo if you wanna remove slots from somewhere then it's the sleeps (as you suggested). Confuse (duration seems pretty long anyway, recharge is fast (but will give you time to use your other powers)) maybe 2 acc, 1 recharge,1 confuse. Lasts 30 seconds, rechrge 6 seconds. Thats 5 people you can thereticly keep confused(though doutful)

    You can probably drop 2 slots from Terrify, a really nice power but I'm not sure you'd actually need the fear durations. You would need 2 acc (pvp red accuracy and it has inherant -acc), lasts for 30 seconds, 2 recharge brings it down to about 25 seconds so you can probably keep them perma (unless you miss..).

  16. eek, yes I ment twilight grasp . It's doing a pretty good job of keeping me and my agro alive but I often get it doign the silly animation but me dying first (somehting I don't get with transfusion) which is pretty annoying.

    You can always use combat jumping to break immob if you don't want it running all the time. Get immobbed, turn it on and it will break the immob.
  18. am I the only one who doesn't like howlight twilight? I keep hearing how good it is but imo it's not as nice as transferance and the heal takes so long to actually hit I die alot because of it (slow animation time). Nice that it debuffs acc thoguh. I really do like the rest of the set so far thgouh .
  19. since when did blizzard accept accuracy? is it prehaps supposed to be to hit debuff? You can't get bitter ice blast any earlier than 18 (unless the post was edited and it was later?). Would definatly leave out bitter freeze ray. Havn't tried it myself but from what everyone else says the cast time is way to long.

    I would definatly try to get 5 slots in sithen speed, 3 recharge (if possible) and 2 acc. You really do notice it if you miss (just noticed you have tactics, so dfisregard the 2 acc thing )

    You can easily get rid of one recharges/heal in tranfusion (if you need them for sithen speeD)
  20. yeah I just run off too, hence if you hit a support char or a controller perhaps it really makes a difference. I can't think off the top of my head if any AT actually has confuse resists. Tactics does give resistance againsts it though. Providing you can actually confuse someone it really is very nasty .

    Yeah this is what I really love about the corruptors and cov in gereral.

    I also do the target what ever someones targetting to heal with a kin. If it's a ranged AT I find the best way is to click them, hit follow and deselect them. When you get to them hit your heal button twice (one to target the closest enemy, one to cast the power). That way if there is an enemy close enough you heal them, if not, well you couldn't heal them anyway :P. With sithen speed on it usually doesn't take very long to get to someone with follow problem is slingshotting past them :P
  22. I just logged on my brute to check (fire/fire) and I can also slot taunt inc into every attack. That being said, pool powers attacks don n't get the effect (where as I imagine tankers ones do). I'd say it;s definitly a power set thing and not an inherant thing.

    I geuss brutes are supposed t hold agro to an exctent so our attacks tdo have a slight taunt ability.
  23. I havn'#t tried it in pvp yet and I can't advise slotting (pve style slotting I'd imagine would be fine, a confuse duration or 2/3 even would help(explained why in a moment)).

    Last night I played my ice/kin corruptor and in a team we were really doing well in sirens. When I got confused (I think it was called diseive, no idea what powerset does that) I was pretty useless tot he team Couldn't heal them, buff them or free them from holds etc and it really lasted quite long (the reason for duration increases). Hit a support character with this and it will cripple a team (unless they have bfs).
  24. hmm I'd be very hessitant to drop one of the 3 single target attack powers. With sithen speed and hasten they cycle very well but bitter ice blast is still quite slow. It would involve you waiting for your powers to recharge.
  25. I'd definitly take /kin. Given the choice between thermal/rad/kin I';d take the kin . It does get very hard to heal people at times but I've never really had any problems.

    Pretty much everyhtign in Kin affects you so it's really great for those solo times. I can't really comment on rad thoguh

    Best would probably be thermal "support" would probably be thermal, res/heals/buffs/damage resistance etc. Not nesicerily the most fun to play .
