No idea what the blaster is like. I;ve an ice/kin corr and it works really good thoguh

Well, as a corruptor you aren't all about damage, the buff/debuff side brings some new elements into it...
IF you go with /kin, you'll be speed boosting people every 90 secs (or bugged about it if you don't). People will propably also expect you to free them from mezzes if you have ID, and propably ask a IR from time to time. Kin has the advantage of no end problems post-35, nice DMG boosts (to you and your allies), and the fastest recharge times of any single character (hasten+triple stacked siphon speed).
You'll propably also be using your rain and blizzard a lot, seeing as with I7 they'll become buffable, and what better buff is there than fulcrum shift.

A blasster is very similar to that of a corruptor, accept they're kinda like dominators, because you have assault as your primary and secondary as your secondary.
If you blap with your blaster it'll obviously play quite differently to the corruptor. With siphone speed stacking up, the blast side might play quote differently too. Hmm, play by ear I guess! My first thought might be to miss out the first single target attack (the low damage one), since you can really slash the recharge of attacks.

hmm I'd be very hessitant to drop one of the 3 single target attack powers. With sithen speed and hasten they cycle very well but bitter ice blast is still quite slow. It would involve you waiting for your powers to recharge.

Agreed. I find the first Ice Blast power quite worthwhile, both becuase of the slow recharge of the set, and also because it's great to use to finish off a mob that's not quite dead. Given the significant amount of endurance the Ice blasts use, it always seems a shame to waste one of the larger attacks on something with only a few HP.
Does the set play very differently for a corruptor than it does for a Blaster? I'm speaking from experience as an Ice/NRG, but I just had a strange hankering for an ice/kin and wanted to know peoples thoughts.
