1. Hi, A_C!

I just put a build together, and I'd like to know your thoughts on it. Yes, the mez resist and heals are late, but they can be swapped around as needed. Also, please ignore the levels I added slots; I kinds just threw this together in 15-20 minutes, just to get a feel.

2. How about Stealth as a /Traps? I know the first level of it makes you move slower, but it sounds like it might be handy for booby-trapping the mobs before you aggro them.
3. Thanks for the info, Stack. I ended up selecting Conserve Energy on my build instead.
4. I'm a big fan of:

The ITF
The Kheldian chances
Powerset Proliferation
Real Numbers feature
Masterminds can now buff all pets at once
New costumes!
The kind, helpful parts of the community!
5. Why do people feel so entitled, like their time is SO valuable? I mean, it took me 6 minutes to microwave my frozen vegetables yesterday. They're something I paid for, why can't I have them right away, when I want them? Why does it take six minutes, plus time to cool, before I can eat them? Shouldn't I be compensated for the time it takes me to take the bag out of the freezer and heat it up?

People are funny. LOL.
6. Wow, this is an unexpected and welcome surprise! I already used my i13 freespec on a couple of characters, so I'm happy that they'll be getting another one! Thanks, and Happy Holidays!
7. Since a good bit of mitigation will be obtained through stuns, do you feel that taking Stalagmites from the Earth Mastery EPP works well for a Dark/Stone? I know it's only a chance for stun, but I figure the more sources of stun, the better, but I'm concerned that it may end up being unnecessarily redundant. What are your thoughts?
8. Any Ill/Storm guides? It looks like it's be one of the ultimate chaos combos.
9. Star Strider Forces Registry
Name: Soberu
Global Contact: @hotfusionx
Level of Classification: 50
Origin: Mutant
Super Rank & Super Group: VIQ, Q Patrol
10. Excellent guide! Thanks for taking the time to make it!

I've been thinking of trying out Axe, but I've been trying to think of a good secondary. Willpower may be worth giving a shot.
11. This is an excellent guide! I've been looking for something uncommon to play, and I never really considered Axe until now.

What Primaries do you suggest pairing with it? It seems Fire and Invulnerability are popular, but I'd like to know opinions regarding all of them.
12. [ QUOTE ]
Except you have no body to rez, you can't use a wakie (at present, you can, but you remain without a body and unable to interact with anything). Your only choice is "go to hospital"

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually, you can rez sometimes. I used Self-Destruct with my Stalker, and I got the "Go to hospital?" screen. I used the Mayhem rez power, and my body appeared out of thin air and resurrected.
13. I'm also one of those few people who bought the Jet Pack. I'm not planning on buying it on a consistent basis, but I figured that since I had $5 I could spare, I'd buy it and see how well it works.

When I first tried it out, I was ecstatic that it's a flight pack, not a jump pack like the GvE one. After checking the flight speed compared to my run speed, I discovered that I'm renting the flight pack from the first Safeguard/Mayhem mission. I'm a little disappointed, but you know what? I'm fine with it.

I have altitis, and right now I have a gripload of toons below level 10. (I have 24 slots already, about to buy 5 more soon.) So, this is perfect for me, not only to help me until I get to the bank missions, but also so that I can push back travel powers for now and get to the good stuff faster. Having the flight pack also saves me from having to waste time on the bank flight pack; I have a level 50 hero that took SS and now only has half an hour left on his Safeguard flight pack, and he's only about 3-4 months old! (Time for a respec!)

Like I said before, I'm not planning on buying this on a consistent basis. But this is an excellent thing to have available when my toons need a mini-boost (pun not intended).

Now, if the Jingle Jet was available, I'd definitely throw money at that. Devs, please give us a Holiday Booster!
14. [ QUOTE ]
I've gotten Shivans on my Ice therm corr who has no travel powers in BB and only two attacks. Yea I'm built for pvp alright...good thing I'm in that 5% of uber power combos.

[/ QUOTE ]

Now go get nukes in Warburg with at least 2 opponents there.

Bloody Bay is easy, as long as you can deal enough damage to the turrets.
15. I agree that PvP should be kept separate from PvE. The Shivans and Nukes are really helpful on Task Forces, but they're almost impossible to get unless you're ready for PvP. That means you either have to be one of the 5% of power combos that do well in PvP, or bring a bunch of those combos along to fend off griefers and whatnot so your squishy/poor toon can get the temporary power.
16. Thanks for the great info! I'm glad I found this; the advice here will be very valuable in my new Offender build.
17. Are there any updated Ill/Rad guides? I'm surprised that there aren't any recent ones.
18. I have a DM/FA Brute, so only half of your guide applies to him, but it's still really useful in learning more about the powers available. Cool guide.
19. Excellent! This game just keeps getting better and better!
20. Congratulations to all of the winners!

I want to agree with the sentiment that there should have been some honorable mentions. I think that wouldn've assuaged the feelings of some of those who were not selected, especially those whose entries were made to reflect the creativity side of the contests, instead of a dull "let's cram everything I can into one shot." You said that making the judges feel something was important. I think that by not acknowledging some of the other talent here, you've made some people feel something as well. I hope this feedback helps you in your next contest.
21. 1) Port Oaks: Boulevard of Broken Dreams
http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b.../PortOakes.jpg
Contains: A small boat, a plant (tree), an NPC performing an emote, a brick building, a stop sign, a Snake, someone using a power (Hide, look close in the middle), and an upside-down truck. It also technically has dead tree in it (the planks), but I'm not sure if you'll count it.

2) Even the most hardened criminal knows it's important to wash your hands.
http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...shingHands.jpg
Contains: Breakout, graffiti.

3) Masterminds are always hogging the dance floor...
http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...nt/PocketD.jpg
Contains: An NPC performing an emote (cage dancing), DJ Zero, a fountain, someone using a power, something Blu! (blue), and a long line of people.

4) Bachelor #1, if you were a plankton, what kind would you be?
http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...uitContest.jpg
Contains: A plant (trees again), a beach, a sunset, a Costume Contest, someone using a power, and something Blu (blue) again.

5) A sudden attack surprises the defenders!
http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...tiInvasion.jpg
Contains: An NPC performing an emote (Vanguard guy near the doors, standing to attention), a Rikti invasion, a brick building, someone using a power, something blue (various parts of costumes), a long line of people (they were lined up for the invasion when the blast hit.)

Thanks again to the members of Q Patrol, Q-E.V.I.L., and Pride for posing for some of these pics! You guys and gals rock!
22. I'm thinking of applying Storm/Electric/Electric to PvE, so I'm wondering how leveling this character up was for you. Did you need to group often, or was soloing easy?
23. How do you get it toggle among Hover, Fly, and Sprint, then? Is it pretty much the same thing but with code for Sprint at the end?
