This sounds like an interesting idea...I wouldn't mind taking a crack at drawing one of your characters, now that the semester is drawing to a close and I have a bit of time to myself.
As for monetary rewards, gosh, I don't know! The only piece of art I ever sold was an oil painting copy of Starry Night I made in 5th grade that I sold to the vice principal of the school (haha), so I feel like I have no grounds to base fair rewards on. -
Wow! That staff cuts through villains like a hot knife through butter!
-
Amazing how you can capture so much personality and energy into a tiny body like that! Great job!
-
Haha...these captions are making me giggle in my seat with glee! Keep 'em coming!!
And thanks for all the sweet comments :} I <3 you all, really! -
Looking awesome so far! Can't wait to see the finished version
-
Great job on this one! The electricity is very well done...as is everything else :}
-
oooh neat! I will have to try it too.
-
The snow man head on your updated Snowman Frost picture cracks me up! Perfect expression :} I can see improvements already from your first drawings in the series. Keep 'em coming!

That's pretty awesome for paint. I really like how you did the glow on the hands.

Crimson Inspiration looks pretty slick. I'll vote for that one!

Hi guys! Don't know how many of you will remember me, but, in any case, I'm back! My computer decided to run off and make a sandwich and didn't come back for months. Sorry if anyone thought I'd fallen off a cliff into a mess of hungry crocs or something. Anyhoo, to make up for my sudden absence, I bring an offering ! Click to see who I've mangled! (Hope you don't mind me drawing your character. :} )
Anyhoo, I was thinking of making this into a little caption contest. Whoever comes up with the best caption by midnight on Monday gets to choose the subject (character and setting/situation) for the next one! Hopefully, I'll be able to get at least one done each week.
P.S. - TA cutesification is in the works :P
P.P.S. - I still <3 Tremorr.

Captions so far (hope I didn't miss any):
"Why am I in a miniature cottage, what the heck are you, and what's in these delightful cookies?" ~BlackberryThorn
"Mmmph...I must say these are absolutely splendid! Oh, and no, Chuck Norris' fist isn't hiding under the muffler." ~Shego
"That's the last time I sell a date on Ebay for charity." ~Piepgrass
"You say this cookie will make all my dreams come true eh?" ~Crestent
"So this is the definition of cruel and unusual punishment?" ~AuroraFrost
"My contact said to play along, but this is getting ridiculous!" ~Fuzzywuzzywombat (I can't win my own contest, of course, but I thought I'd throw that one in!)
"Are you sure those are rasins in this cookie? They look kinda...funny." ~Lord Nightblade
"Gee... I don't know Turbo... I think the corn makes better moonshine than the potatoes. Screw it, pass me the Jager...." ~Tremorr -
Ok, Graver, you are my new role model! :P Your attention to detail is astounding, and the reasoning behind your art is making me rethink they way I draw. From now on, I'm going to eat my veggies and grow up strong and THINK about what I'm drawing so that maybe one day I can be on the same level as you. :}
Can't wait to see this finished! -

Lucky!
Tablets rock!! I'm always afraid I'm gonna snap the Stylus or do something stupid like nibble on the end.

Haha! That's why I always keep a fresh pencil or pen next to my tablet. You just can't think right without something to nibble on.
Anyhoo, I got the very same tablet for my birthday back in May, and I'm pretty satisfied with the pressure sensitivity and super eraser (my favourite tool!!). I still have trouble with wobbly lineart when I go slowly, so to remedy that, I usually go over the lineart first with a very small brush, then zoom in at 200-400% and go over it with a bigger brush. It takes a while to get used to, but I see you're already starting to get the hang of it! Grats on your new aquisition -
I missed it the first time too, but once I saw her, I couldn't stop staring...trying to pick out all the elements of her wings. Nicely done!
-
I'm loving those free flowing lines you've got going there! Can't wait to see more!
-
Oh man....this made me giggle out loud! Great shot!
-
The sword design was just too neat to leave out! However, I think the sword I drew needs to go on a wee diet. :P Glad you like it!
-
Well, I decided that I needed practice drawing beefy guys and armor, so I used Replete as a guinea pig! Here's what I came up with. The celtic designs were left off because...well...because I couldn't get them to look good.
Guess I will have to practice that too!

You will probably have more luck posting in the UNOFFICIAL Fanart Thread. Lots of great stuff there and it's much more active than this thread :} Artwork like yours should be seen by the masses!
