Anyone know of a free digital manikins/mannequins?

I am looking for something like the CrypticAR or Poser that allows you to pose a character for refernce, but is a stand alone program and is free.

Does anyone know if one of these exits? And if it does, where could I find it?

I wish I had 3DS Max so I could use the CrypticAR... oh well.
