HemilyTiger (WIP, WIP it good!)

I say WIP it, WIP it good.

Okay, so just an update for y'all on my current works... HemilyTiger!

Here's the original idea sketch I did. Now, I know what your thinking and I already fixed it... the nuclear powered rubber piggies are a bit too much, so I will be removing them. However, I'm keeping the equation that solves pi... that's just too important to leave out

Either way, after several posses, it has been decided that this one fit Hem's personality the best as well as lended it's self to the most interesting layout while staying in line with the original concept above.

More to come as more is completed.

Hmm, tough call. They are both very good. But, I think I would go with number one. It just seems more...Alive!

Well, first, she's gonna be in a tree... I just wanted to get the general pose down first before getting all kinds of caught up in intircacies of a tree.

As for your second point, of course she will get cloths... she's not Rowr after all . Besides, that's how I figure out most all of my poses, I always do them nekkid... sans the happy funtime parts. I have to know what the meat's doing under the cloth before I could ever get the cloth to fall over the form right. If I were to start with the cloth and something went wrong, I would have a much harder time trying to figure out what was wrong since I wouldn't have a clear view or idea of the anatomy under the cloth

Edit: and Kat... I'll go ahead and take the more lively path when I get to your's

Graver, I have seen people try to emulate your style but let me say that nobody is coming close. I simply love your work and can't wait to see this piece completed.

You have piqued my curiosity my good sir!

This is looking GREAT! I can't WAIT to see what it looks like when it's done! It's going to be SO CUTE!!!

It took me awhile to figure out what was wrong with the sketch, and I finally figured it out. She doesn't have a red flower pot on her head. Otherwise, it looks really good.

And Hemily should definitely "crack that whip", and get Graver moving on this piece

Graver I always admire your work. In this one I specially ( and I know this is going to sound weird) the breasts. They look natural. Sizewise and shapewise. In superhero that is a rare thing.

I do have a question for you: I noticed that you often draw the hands and feet slightly larger that normal. I assume it is on purpose so I must ask ( trying to learn from he bests here) Why? Just for style or is there more to it?

Thanks

I love the feel of the piece so far. I think the tree will be a nice touch and help bring it together. I can't wait to see this one finished.

It's because Sam Keith has taken over Graver's brain!!! Mwahahaha
Actually, if I remember correctly, I think he said that it's because your brain puts importance on your hands so he draws them big to make them look the right size to your brain subconsiously(sp?).
