Agreed it's a great power, but the visual animation for it is severely underwhelming in my opinion. On my sole Incarnate path character I went to the tier 4 for Cryonic for thematic reasons, but I also built up to tier 3 for Pyronic just because it looks a lot more awesome, to me at least.

I believe it's a subfolder of the install directory named "playernotes". There will be a separate file in there for each note that has been added by global player name, so you should just copy the whole folder.

Quote:2 + 2 can equal 5 for large values of 2.Speaking of math, I can add 1 and 1 and come up with either 2, 3 or 11, depending on my mood.

I'd like to thank everyone for their replies. This is great news to hear. It looks like FiOS will be the choice of internet provider I go with once the move happens. Thanks again everyone!

I may be moving soon to an area where the best high speed internet option is Verizon FiOS. I have never used this before and wanted to get feedback from others who have it and play CoH. Do you have any noticeable lag issues that you attribute to the service? I currently have digital cable internet service and am wondering how they will differ.
Thank you in advance for your input. -
Quote:My plans exactly. Hoping an AE mission will suffice. My plan is:
1) Log in 15 minutes before it starts
2) Get a mission
3) Park myself in said mission
4) Go watch TV or spend some time with the family
5) Check once in a while to see if the badge was awarded
6) Once I get the badge, go to a different server and play if it is not too close to bed time -

Quote:I initially agreed on the idea of time proration, but then did the math. Here's how it works out...Not true. They can, and should pro-rate days (or hours) of game time credit for those hours we're unable to play.
It's ridiculous that we pay for game time and are just to accept these down times as necessary evils. They're not - at least not with the frequency we're having to presently tolerate.
In example for May, there are 31 days or 744 hours. If you take your monthly sub of $15 and divide that out, that's ~$0.02 per hour, USD. So, for todays particular downtime you are looking for an $0.08 proration to your sub. Across the entire month of May with all the varied large downtimes we've had, we might be looking at a $1 proration.
Honestly for me, the playtime is more important than that actual amount of money. I think May has also been an abnormal month in terms of downtimes. -
Nope. As of today, there are only 2 Incarnate Trials: Behavioral Adjustment Facility (BAF) and Lambda.
As of Issue 20.5 there will be a third, the Keyes Island trial. -
Quote:I think maybe you misunderstood what I was saying. What I was trying to say was that I disagreed that we needed the content in a state which required specialized teams to complete, and that I agree with the change so that non-optimized teams can complete now.Disagree all you like, I see it being done with minimal efforts now. And nor does the iTrials require a specialized team to complete it.
I cited MoApex and MoTin as examples of "the hardest content in the game" being completed with non-optimized teams. I didn't mean to infer that you needed specialized teams to complete the iTrials. -
Changed the thread title. I understood that these aren't new servers, only newly accessible to NA accounts.
I'll message Zwillinger and get their input. -
I can't say I agree with this statement. Unoptimized teams have been completing Mo* runs for Apex and Tin Mage forever now. Up until the iTrials, they were supposedly the hardest game content. It didn't require a specialized team to complete those.
-
Now that North American accounts have access to the 3 non-NA servers, shouldn't we be able to see their up/down status on the Server Status page?

Quote:Agreed. Almost a day late on these. That's pretty sad.The patch notes may be on the forum (although I could not for the life of me find them until I saw this thread), but they are still not on the main site where they belong.
Seems like patch notes are always posted late these days. For that matter, announcements of off-site articles come late too, typically scooped by the playerbase. The community team should be the first ones posting about a new interview, not the last. -
The Tanker forums may help you more. This is a sub-forum for already created guides.

Were the changes for Lambda in today's patch? I can't find patch notes anywhere.

Thanks Grim and Ulli. That settles it for me.

Are there patch notes for today? I don't see them posted anywhere.
