Circle of Thorns, anyone?
He has the targeting optics combat aura for the eye glow, but that doesn't show up on the character select screen (he already exists on the test server). -
Okay, since I won't be the first I guess I'll post my latest here too - here's my take on a Soul Mage:
Gonna be my demon summoner, when I get around to buying GR. And dying for a wizardly skullcap to put on his head. Jay has been notified. -
To me, whatever fits the character gets top spot, and if more than one power set qualifies equally well I tend to pick whichever one is more powerful (though "looks awesome" is sometimes a consideration).

Quote:Yeah, but you didn't make one called "darkity dark mystery death ultimate killer of darkness with darky awesomeness," and my entire post was about how that exact name is impossibleSomewhere among my alts, I made a parody character when villains was new.
"DarkSkull DeathDemon" -- all in red and black (what else?) with every skull related costume item I could cram into his huge horned demon form.
I'm curious about screenshots of DarkSkull DeathDemon now, too. -
Re: "Every Hero or Heroine has a Battle Cry"
Most of mine don't... -
Have I ever mentioned that I adore Terratonic's design? Especially as interpreted by Spidey0318, with the sleeveless tights?

Hahahaha. And they were whining that CoH was copying them when power coloring came along...!

That's actually a really cool idea! 100% signed!
I'm imagining the surprise on a newbie's face when he goes into the PTS mission map for the first time, and sees the bonus applying to Magic origin... "Wait, what?" And then "Ooooooohhhhhh!" -
That could be really interesting - as a tier 5 power, it'd be a real switch from the other travel pools' granting your "combat" power right at the beginning.

20? Dude, you forgot that Lightning Bolt does three damage, not one. You only need seven.
-
Did anyone else catch the Mastermind's sweet hairstyle? That's a new costume piece we hadn't seen yet!
-
Only an idiot would take that bet - "darkity dark mystery death ultimate killer of darkness with darky awesomeness" is far too many characters to fit!

Quote:You know what? So what? Maybe there will be a spike in Saiyan and/or Namek characters for a while, but after what I predict to be a very short while, the "ooh shiny!" will wear off. The majority of those characters will stop being played, some will be deleted, and while surely some will remain, the usual distribution of creativity will return. The same will happen with "City of Pistols and Demon Summoners," I predict. Are you sure we're playing the same game? Personally, I agree with you, but I hear just the opposite from a majority of the players I encounter (i.e., they'd rather have great numbers than flashy/well-done/etc. animations).
Amusingly, I'm already hearing complaints in-game that "This will turn into City of Dragonball Z." This, in turn, tempts me to make the magical cavalryman summoned by the Dragoon Balls (see your radio/paper mission clues) as a character with this powerset. -
Mine:
Unstar, gravity/radiation controller: Uranus (makes sense, given that he is literally a celestial body)
Eldrix the Blackbird, grav/energy dom, and her Praetorian counterpart Beata the Dove, grav/FF troller: Hecate (Witchcraft, souls, and crossroads. Perfect.)
Charlotte Aranea, Widow: If I don't say Arachne here I'm just being stupid. Arachne is MADE for a standard female VEAT.
My scrapper, Zenith Fighter X, is an alien, so her goddess would be not of this earth - even though she'd be a dynamite Athena. -
Quote:Maybe. The existing one is called Silk Talon, though, so I'm trying for something like that - you know, in the style of Tsoo paper-mission-boss names. Funny, though... Silk Talon's bio states that her ink is black. Do you remember if this other Black Ink Woman's bio said what the black ink does, by any chance?"Red Ink Woman"? I've seen someone with a "Black Ink Woman" in game, actually.
Quote:Tsoo Madams are seldom seen, partly because they normally stay inside bases to keep order and partly because of the enchanted ink used in their tattoos. Black ink empowers the Tsoo with the ability to cloud an enemy's perceptions, allowing a Madam to pass undetected or set herself up for a deadly strike from the shadows. -
I might need to reroll my stalker now... either that or make her a sister. Anyone got a good female Tsoo name?

If nobody can figure out where the actual station is by the time GR comes along, there's always the WSPDR building in Cap Au Diable... if you went vigilante you could go there.

Oh dear, I tried that link and got Song of the South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut. Perfect.
