Me too, and my graphics card isn't running as hot anymore either. Go figure.

Jeez, and I thought fighting ONE Peacebringer was bad! D: My double has Restore Essence or whatever that self-rez is called, and I'd never be able to take eight of her... especially since she has the summon as well. I'm too low for both of these powers... been thanking my lucky stars that she doesn't seem to be able to transform.

The only problem so far? My FSAA is broken. Things very, very close and very, very far are anti-aliased properly, but everything in between has jagged edges again. Weird.
OTOH, ambient oclusion, reflections, new water, and realtime shadows more than make up for it to the point where eh, it'd be nice to have it fixed, but I ain't complaining. -
Quote:That sounds awesome. I'd team with him!Where are all the petless masterminds?
I started one before Dual pistols, which I still have to re-roll. I know at some point I want to do a no tier 1 demon summoner and Thugs MM, but that's for later.
I've more or less soloed my /dev Blapper. That's right, I said Devices blapping, because it's the only way to do gadget Batman in-game. He's only teamed once or twice with online friends. He has Assault rifle for his primary, which I'm tempted pick up ignite and maybe the grenade for. But, otherwise, I want to see what he can do with fighting pools and either leadership or presence for the fears and possibly stealth, but I might hold off for Going Rogue's collector's edition power to fill out the stealthy aspect. Also, uses the vet powers to fill out other attacks. Currently lvl 21, so close to SOs I'm looking forward to seeing how much he improves when SOs come into play. -
I only have two and they're both good.
1. Drawing Soul Train fighting my Dominator Eldrix the Blackbird, and Soul liking it.
2. Winning a color palette costume contest, thus receiving my first - and only - piece of fanart. It's of my level 50 Scrapper, Zenith Fighter X.
I wish I had more but I'm too broke to commission any -
CRAP! If only I hadn't won that color palette costume contest! Now I don't qualify!

Hmm, let's see... favorite memory...
I think that must be my first time doing Seer Marino's arc. Wretch immediately became my favorite character in the game. Sure, he's a villain... but he's such a nice guy! Ditto Becky, though I ran into her much later.
No. Scratch that. It was my first task force... strike force, rather. I was a level 45 or so Dominator, on Triumph, and had honest-to-god never done one before. It was a Barracuda. The cutscene was amazing, like nothing I'd ever seen in this game. Took about four hours, lots and lots of teamwipes due to the tunnels being utterly clogged with 5th Column, but we did it, and boy did it feel like an accomplishment. This character later went on to become my first 50. -
Never again spending thirty minutes tearing my hair out searching for the last guy in a kill-all.

I hear there's new missions. Where can I pick them up?

So is my Bots/Thermal mastermind, whose robots and rifle are made of completely ordinary (though highly advanced) electronics, and whose fire shields and buffs are genuine magical spells... is she Tech or Magic origin? I go with Tech here, since that's what her primary is and we can't have dual-origin heroes. Pool powers are such a minor percentage of a character's abilities that I almost never even consider origin in relation to them.

Definitely the first.

omg bAss. I lol'd.

Quote:Depending on your server, the literary character Great Rumpuscat might be free. I have it on Triumph because someone else does on Virtue - but the way T. S. Eliot wrote him he's basically a feline Batman, with a few supernatural overtones. Not too excited about todays release.... I dont play animal themed toons so tails are no biggie for me, Cant handle UM... Not excited about anything in this issue... yes here i am checking the forums, waiting on the servers
Ok, so someone help with a nice, tuff, manly cat dude name XD -

NPC Faction Packs.
Since NPC enemies should remain visually distinct from player characters, I'm not saying that if you buy, for example, the Carnival of Shadows mini-booster, you should be able to perfectly replicate the look of any Carnie NPC, especially not the archvillains. What would be really great, though, would be the more "generic" parts that random Carnie grunts wear: the buttoned boot and glove patterns, for instance, or the high boots the Harlequins wear, especially since there are currently a grand total of two high boot options that even exist, and Ring Mistresses have some thigh-high opaque tights with garters that I can see lots of people using. The sash belts that we see on both Harlequins and Ring Mistresses alone I can see being wildly popular among Kheldians. And theater mask face details! However, any costume part that is already very similar to an existing PC costume part would get a no, so you could still tell a player-controlled Harlequin from an NPC by looking at her corset and hat (NPCs have four-pointed hats).
VEATs can already make exact copies of NPC mobs, after all... so why must heroes be left out?
*still holding out for Ouroboros chest, shoulder, and belt details* -
I can't believe I forgot about my SB-less kin defender, Captain Slow. XD
So far, no flack for it. It probably helps that I warn people in my search message... somehow, he still gets invited to teams. On Triumph. -
I have a character planned that MAKES things like that happen. He's a six-dimensional horror that eats time.
-
There seems to be a new color pattern for bottoms called "Syndicate." It doesn't appear on the list of standard tights options, but if you have a Monstrous, Tucked, Pants, or Armored bottom it shows up in its alphabetical position for male and huge characters.
I like it.
