    i sincerely appreciate you choosing Cretaceous specifically. you could, thematically put a Volcano into a dino-zone, and expand on the non-human rigs mostly with new heads and tails and back pieces.

    i also second the Ocean Trench but only if its on the same map as an ancient underwater city.

    anything else in space, is needed .

    a roller coaster zone/beach zone/ themepark zone can be collapsed into one.

    a suburb zone should also have an elementary, and children who throw rocks.

    that's five zones i'd like to see. but we DO have a lot of zones so these should all be co-op or pvp... and i dont get the Ohio zone... or the common sense zone... O_o. the dino and the ocean ones could be via Ouro or Midnighters, like Cim. along the time travel vein, i'd like to see a whild-west mini-zone or atleast a map or two for a new Mid/Ouro arc.

    and it should be one the same way the gunslinger ports were given to females.

    Take a little extra time and expand Carnie pieces to males. Sash, Masks, Head Details.

    I would also really like the Barbarian leather bikini and Barbarian Crowns ported to males, and the furry briefs and arm details ported to females.

    they also need some weapon proliferation, between the Assault Rifle, the Beam Rifle, and the Laser cannon for MM:Bots.

    also, might as well make the fire sword and ice sword from fire/ice meelee available to ATs w/ bladed weapons.

    also cool: double the fire scimitar, turn one upside down, and you can have a fire-bow. maybe the same w/ ice.

Back in the day pvp was about skill and people would actually gratz others when they were beaten - now it's all about slinging profanity and nothing more than a huge pissing contest.

    If you want a sample of zone pvp - watch the Arena Chat channel for about an hour - the complete infantile "conversations" will show you the maturity level of the pvp community.

    tldr;
    the pvp community is rude and the lack of rewards make pvp not worthwhile.
    and all this.

    i've gone in a few times, maybe once a year, just to end up reminding myself why i never go in. it's a whole other game, that i have no base experience with and have no idea how to build for [and i still barely have a grasp on invention sets] and as soon as i go in two or three players who live in there and have wicked builds kill me moments after i respawn. also, they either dont speak to me at all, or act really dumb and juvenile.

    whats the point in venturing to a zone where all you see is the ground. no matter that my character might be good with the right build and practice and group support, because i can never even get to that point.

    i have enjoyed the arena from time to time with a friend or two, but because pvp is so... forgotten... in this game, outta sight outta mind, the arena barely ever gets any attention from me either.



    i dont have a solution and i dont expect one to be easy, so i sympathize with pretty much everyone lol.

  9. "Why are there no quivers yet?" was going to be my actual thread title, but i know it's a complicated issue that the Devs are well aware of. And the answer has been: "Because right now it's complicated to have pieces like holsters or scabbards that would have weapons in them when not being used."

    which is an ok answer but...

    plenty of NPC's have quivers already, see: Wyvern. a quiver of all weapon related pieces, would be the least neccessary to have the bow stuck on there. and i dont see an issue with having some back options available [like the Wyvern quiver] long before they figure out the pieces with animations for drawn/undrawn weapons comes around, if ever.

    Also, plenty of combat-active things exist already, and im not a coder/dev so i dont know how the mechanism works exactly, but rocket boots work only while flying, and the auras all have combat options, so why cant there be a quiver with an 'combat aura' of an absent bow, thereby having a bow while 'not-in-combat' and as the auto setting.

    also, i wouldn't want a bow on my quiver. and if i had dual pistols, it would make absolutely no difference to me if my holsters were pernamently empty or permanently with guns. some holsters even have flaps over where the gun goes and you dont really see the gun either way... but maybe that's just me...

    but mostly i just dont understand completely and was wondering if someone could shed light on this matter for me. and maybe a quiver will FINALLY happen with the chainmail/leather armor set... but i dont remember seeing on on the black knights. :shrug:

    any ideas?

    most lame reason EVER to withhold a quiver. for real. EXTRA lame that multiple NPC's sport quivers just fine.

    i feel like a free powerset will either be powerset proliferation ooorrrrrrr one of the other sets leaked. i think penny's powerset is too specific maybe, despite being highly requested, and therefore would work best if they sold it so they could make uber bank from it, which they would.

    as would the blast set requested from day 1. :'( i just rolled like three characters for it to save the names i want lol.

    while in the AE making a mish, I was able to customize the Ancients from the Banished Pantheon.

    i REALLY want their head-auras. it was almost a combination of thunderhead [minus the thunder] with some runes [but not rune overkill like the actual runes aura] plus some glowing aura tossed in. idk if its the same aura the masks ahve always been using and was just ported to the new boss's heads or what, bit ah wants it bad.

    it is gorgeous. and their entire costume too, of course

    this is why i dont want simply a straight port of GW's hair.

    this is why i suggest a new model that isnt as flat. the "static" portion of the hair option could be bigger, and more voluminous, as most of the hair options right now are pretty flat and straight. something larger, maybe not like the foxy afro, but something more full, with the 'cape' portion wrapping around the head more similar to the jacket 'cape' portions that wrap almost all the way around the body would give the illusion of fuller hair and movement. draw curly hair on the cape instead of belladonna's straight hair, and you have something more interesting and satisfying. if i can i'll get an image of GW and her hair then MS paint what i'd like using that as a starting point, if my explanation doesn't make sense still. and sorry XD ms paint is fast and easy.



    also i consider the bridal veil slightly more complicated than a normal cape or gw's hair because it's pinched on one end and folded on the other, and is transparent on top of having 'invisible' edges. XD





    also, i have no idea who the girl with the gorgeous hair is on the right. when i was making my sample image, i simply googled "gorgeous hair" lol and found one that expressed my desire for a hair option.

    i dont see how the two are mutually exclusive. that might be buttcape or like scirocco, a loin cape [also all need to happen ]

    also, taking a closer look at the new talons of vengence banshee costumes and their long skirts, which are different it *seems* from the old CoT and Tsoo lower body robes in construction, i'd say that those arent too far off but who really knows, my mind plays tricks all the time.

  20. So since Zwill finally closed the costume reques thread... I hope they put up a new one soon!

    Also, I hope that they go through the old one and catalog or make a spreadsheet of all the requests and mark them off as: already in game for players, in for NPCs (to be converted/remain restricted), what costume group, impossible to make, will make later, making right now... along with potential categories for groups like Science/Magic/Dino/Ent/Spectral/Tech/etc.

    heck i'd happily complie it all for them if they are willing to look at it and give it to whomever it concerns to render. Who's in charge of it now? I know Tunnel Rat and Honey Badger make Fx for powers and auras, and Dink does a bunch of costume stuff...







    anyway, I did want to just mention that there is still a lack of good long hair. for me, glam is used a lot for long hair, but it's bulky on top and skinny on the bottom, and doesnt fullfill my needs. right now Tielekku has the best hair after ghost widow/belladonna vetrano, but their hair is all straight-like and it's more the cape part that makes it lovely.

    i'd like to suggest a long hair option or three O_o more using the attatched cape option for a long, moving hair item. seeing as how cape/back pieces can be blocked with other pieces, including the already cape-hair veil piece, this shouldnt bee too difficult beyond the work needed to make a new hair option and a new cape option and once it's done the hair-cape could also probably work as a new fur-cape option too.

    i am no 3-D artist but here is my suggestion, which is basically a new, long, pretty, curly, thicker but not awkward like glam, hair option. i'd also open it up to males too as this in white along with the big bushy beard could give Zeus a very powerful look.

    this also might be accomplished with an opaque tendril like aura giving medusoid hair in a billowy trail attatched to the back of the head, similar to DC's Starfire.

    anyway, here's my mock up for... you know... GOOD hair.

  22. i figure alt models are the best way to give playes MM customization, and using the in game villain group models makes the most sense.

    badge unlocks make sense too, for the various groups alt models.
