If memory serves, apart from some rogue sects, I think we've kinda made peace with them by the endgame.
An Incarnate trial putting an end to the Rikti 'threat' by going into the Mothership would be nice though.
I am the Blaster, I have filled the role of Tank, Controller and Defender
Sometimes all at once.
Union EU player! Pip pip, tally ho, top hats and tea etc etc
In my head (
) there are several zones & 100+ missions. 2 or 3 TF's, several zone events. I can dream.
Sure the story ends peacefully in one dimension.
I would like to see such an expansion as a build up to the Earth invasion, maybe it would end with us going along with Hero1 as an anonymous hero after doing some secret intel.
I reckon there is a lot of folk who would like to see this come about and the community has loads of ideas for it.
How about a TF where we act as a special envoy and go to their homeworld and accept a formal apology for the 2 invasions and sign trade agreements....
Well, trade is usually the outcome for warring factions/regions but the only thing Rikti seem to be attracted by are various beings to make unto and of themselves to expand their numbers. So are you suggesting we trade villains?
Maybe owning/using the Rikti Mentalist costume would offer some kind of stealth protection?
I'm sure some people will volunteer. You get to ride in a spaceship to an alternate dimension, you get transformed into a cool alien thing....

i also second the Ocean Trench but only if its on the same map as an ancient underwater city.

.a roller coaster zone/beach zone/ themepark zone can be collapsed into one.
a suburb zone should also have an elementary, and children who throw rocks.
that's five zones i'd like to see. but we DO have a lot of zones so these should all be co-op or pvp... and i dont get the Ohio zone... or the common sense zone... O_o. the dino and the ocean ones could be via Ouro or Midnighters, like Cim. along the time travel vein, i'd like to see a whild-west mini-zone or atleast a map or two for a new Mid/Ouro arc.
I don't believe the Rikti's story is over. The first mission of Ramiel's arc has text that says their story has changed so much since "then". Since that specific text is in the description of an echo of Hro'Dohtz (or however you spell his name) "then" must be the second invasion. Also, IIRC we have made peace with the Traditionalists. The Restructurists are currently in power both here and in the Rikti Homeworld. There are specific examples of text that clearly indicate Hro'Dohtz is essentially the dictator of Rikti Earth as long as a state of war exists. There also seem to be suggestions that he is interested in extending that control to a more permanent basis.
Seeing as The Battallion is inbound, and the Rikti have already beat them once, I could see the Rikti being a potential ally as well.
Either as friend or enemy, the Rikti will be in the spotlight again. I wouldn't be surprised to see a journey to Rikti Earth involved in that.

The last time we had any Rikti involved in the story, they'd formed an alliance with the loyalists in the Apex TF - although that was possibly done in secret, so they mightn't have gotten permission for it from their homeworld.
But I think we might eventually go to their homeworld one day

The millions of people killed on Axis Earth, Council Empire Earth and Praetorian earth by the 5th Column, Council and loyalists probably didn't really appreciate the subtle differences between the 3 dictatorships either.
