everything looks great though! -
well to cut it down, broadsword, dual blades, and katana can use some of the same weapons... and mace, axe, and TW[maaaaaybe] could have a model that crosses over. assault rifle and beam rifle also might be able to have a shared model depending on how it looked.
but yeah i agree 6 is a lot, 2-3 is doablethis pack would sell like hotcakes. as would a second pack with all the unlockable models to be unlocked.

but this adds up to:
7 new swords [2 per and 1 shared], 7 axe/maces/TWs [2 per and 1 shared], 5 assault/beam rifles ["], 2 new dual pistols, 3 new claws, 2 new staffs [cuz its spankin new], 3 new bows.
= 31 new weapons models. which seems like a lot but really they arent as complicated as new powersets, and some costume sets do have this many pieces
but the devs seem to like this new "alt weapon models for one powerset at a time... for sale" method. :/ -

though i'd say 2-3 because there are a lot of weapon sets. 2 unique per set, a 3rd if it can qualify for multiple sets.
im just ready for my dang leafy tree branch weapons [mace, TW, sword, bow]. but ya some are missing some logical options, and some could use more ornate options... anyway i dont need to list, there is a thread for weapons customization.
the new staff meelee could totally use an ornate option tho. and beam could use some smaller zap-guns. -

the work done here is AMAZING. i was wondering if someone could help make me something for one of ym two Exalted Mains, "Silver Cyclone". I can offer you all the inf i have [maybe 100 mil XD] and all my best recipies for you to sell. ahmmm, and i can build you a base O_O.
About Silver Cyclone. he is wind based, and a mantle bearer who resides in the temple of the Order of the Four Winds [my SG on Ex hehe]. As a Wind Avatar he is wearing very little gauzey clothing [zombie worked best to look gauzey, but ideally he has just a small cloth tied around his hips and a cape tied on with some chords] and some gauntlets with faces blowing wind. also he faintly has the tiger print on his chest to represent the winds he controls. almost always flying, whirlwinding and casting tornado XD

Perhaps at some point they will come up with a new means of transfering animations between forms but it doesn't exist at this time.
What WOULD be nice with any new travel power/form is to create a new inherent power which is "Memorize Toggles" so that when you turn on your flying carpet your 8 toggles are turned off but memorized, then when you get off you have 1 button with no animation which puts them all back on again. Disable in PvP zones because they abuse everything. But I might actually buy these new powers if this ability existed. Turning on toggles over and over again is NO fun.
This isn't unbalancing that I can see and it makes the new powers much less invasive.

...is a TP of sorts with ground based placement and really only fx/animations from other powers XD and wouldnt require 'new' animations, and doesnt require any detoggling... T_T ah wants it so baaaaddddd.
also, i categorize motorcycles [and most vehicles for that matter] and weblinging as 'farfetched' [meaning particularly difficult, and therefore not likely in the near future]... which was meant to be the opposite of this thread... precisely because they would require new animations and mechanics like "pedestrians move out of way of motocycle on road" and "grappling hook + gravity effects". but i think everyone here is actually on the same page lol idk why im repeating XD
i suggest new travel powers, using existing animations and only new objects[board carpet and so on] and fx[whirlwind cloud, and so on] orrrrr continue using the "transform and detoggle all and affect self only" powers but use new models [auto-flying models would be nice like squiddies ]. some new powers may not need to reduce power usage and simply increase speed for example and function the same as SS but with different fx. flying ones would be more difficult if a partifular object is included.
[although cloud travel isnt likely since we have a path aura + fly and that works nicely XD but "rock chunk flying" for example, would be just like hoverboard and magic carpet probably]

We already have a dozen or so wings recipes, and maybe half a dozen boots recipes, along with combat/movement only auras. So why not sell recipes for:

Various flying object
Skateboards, Roller Blades, Rocket Skates
Sure the new transformation powers would be the same but I think most players wouldn't think twice about buying dozens of relatively inexpensive costume recipes because:
a.) Thanks to currently existing costume recipes we are already used to the idea that costume recipes are one shot purchases that can't be reused once created on a single character. and
b.) We are obsessed with costume creation. (Just look a how many extra costume slots we can buy) We tend to go nuts over getting new costume items. -

whoops by seconadaries i meant primaries. my dumb mistake. otherwise though, im not talking about MM customization, but rather new MM sets altogether, so in that sense, the search thread wont really help :P.
and yes, probably all of my pet suggestions have been suggested before. but my thread was intended to make the point that...

Hooray for Beast Mastery!!! I sure hope they can find what they need to customize the pets. panthers would be much cooler than lions, IMO.Anyway! New Mastermind Primaries, my ideas. The last two sets [the only new sets since the AT was brand spankin new if you dont count Thugs] have incorporated some of the most difficult animations, fx, and models yet in game. whips, and the coveted four legged model rigs.
Why not... give us... a not so difficult to make set that is requested, and would please many?
How?
Count the blast sets not yet incorporated into a MM primary [plenty to choose from].
[this can give you your two single targets and a cone or AoE]
Subtract the two upgrades [easy schmeasy].
that leaves four powers that would need to be made from scratchy scratch:
the three pet tiers...
and one wild card power to match the set.
match the numbers to other MM sets and voilĂ ! A new MM set for all to enjoy.
I'm not saying to scramble together a half -hearted set... but rather... "dont break your backs. we just want new pets."
I have brainstormed a few sets as examples of not-from-scratch-and-not-as-intense-as-whips-or-wolves, as im sure many other players have, and these are some sets i would love to see happen and dont think would be too difficult. organized like this:
SET NAME
-minion/pet basis, models/NPCs used as a base, then edited to differentiate.
-three blast powers.
-wild card power.
[upgrades are not described because they are basically a buff animation related to the set theme, plus pet costume changes and power upgrades.]
feel free to add your own that you think are doable, without painstaking work of whips or four legged rigs that the devs lovingly made for us [and are awesome but seriously, you dont have to do that again. XD]
ok here i go
SWAMP SUMMONING
- altered tuatha models
- toss stump, swamp water [like bile spray cone], hurl boulder
- Swamp Creature [enhance and transform a minion into a living swamp mass of plant and earth matter for a time increasing their max hp and dmg output] example: serum for mercs
PIRATES
- um... pirates.
- pistol, sword cone or net throw, canon
- Treasure Raid - [a series of explosions in a wide targeted area reduce enemy to hit and your pirates raid them with increased dmg and rech] example: ninjas... sorta...
WIND SUMMONING
- storm elementals, dust devils
- three wind blast powers, one could be similar to scirocco's desert winds. a single target, a cone, and a targeted AoE
- a pbAoE windstorm that increases pet dmg resistance and to-hit, example: beast fortify pack
ARBOREANS
- razorvine, rosethorn
- thorn darts, plant immob, fling thorns
- carrion creepers as wild card power, example: hell on earth/soul extraction -ish
MULTIPLICITY
- doppelganger/clones [combo of meelee like street justice and maybe psi for the ranged lt/boss pets?]
- psi blast [you have a telepathic link to your clones :P]
- heal clone, + max HP +regen + recov, example: repair robots
CIRCUS/CLOWNS
-carnie based, six different looking clown/carnival/circus people. clown, strong man, feathery-showgirl-lady, tightrope walkers/acrobats
-ring toss? fire breath? not illusion based. whip would have made more sense here :P
-Main Event - Elephant temp summon with a sonic cone and smashing dmg, example: pet summon like soul extraction. or a bunch of clowns come out of a tiny car... example: thugs gang war
ok done. i think these sets could happen, be awesome and me more than half-hearted compiled sets [and be awesome quality like everything else the lovely devs give us] and wont require an uber hard work at the same time. a few new animations, ya, but not as intense as whips with giant noisy demons or wolves, wolves, and more wolves.
i think a lot of players would be happy, and heck, sell them. more minions, less trouble, happy campers everywhere.

true, about the last three travel powersets, but before that came three 'travel' powers that do not impose the same limitations: ninja run, beast run, and steam jump.
the limitations were due to the fact that the powers that were very highly requested, happened to also require a fixed flying pose and an attatched object, or an entire transform.
though, maybe you are right, and from now on it's 600points for a affect self only cosmetic travel toggle de-toggler.but that would be so sad, and be a sort of shame if they dont expand on the plethora of potential travel abilities and instead stay in the easy toggle de-toggler zone.

the powers i am suggesting are not flying, and the one that is, is not tied to a physical object, thereby effectively canceling the need for the "affect self" that the hoverboard and magic carpet are forced to use. the fourth power i am suggesting, is a transform and is identical to the new coyote power, except that it is auto flying like the Kheldian Nova form.

I would like to see a Hamidon Creature EAT. With nasic bature attacks til lvl 20 at which point you respec and choose to become a plant/fungus DE, Beast/Devoured DE, Earth/Crystal DE, or :drumroll: a new Aqua DE [to be released at a future date :P but has lots of already in game water based powers and fx, borrowing from leviathan mastery and hydra head's attacks, and poison's liquidy attacks, the bubble path aura, and maybe some ice.] the title power would be the self transform shield for each branch effectively making you a Hami Nature Creature.
i guess secondaries would be first will power type self buffs, then once branched, based off of the various trees with shields and pbaoe stuff :shrug:

i like the OP's ideas of specific people for specific rooms with services/functions like the base items. and if they could be set on either stationary or patrol room, then i would just about die of happiness.
and if there were a tailor in my base...
i'd never leave. XD
:edit: OMG if you could put like "up to 3 NPC's" in your base... and could pick from a list like in the AE group creator:
Function: "Medical" [gives insps.] [other options: Workshop, Control, Energy, or No Function, etc.]
Appearance: "CoT Mage" [is a CoT mage.] [other options: Crey Scientist, Banished Shaman, Vhazilok, Standard Hospital Doctor NPC... etc.]
Movement: Patrol Room or Stationary

Tail: Waist Cape
Options: long/short/DvD Edition, Origin Capes, Valkyrie, Etc.

done! clipping? whatever. clipping has never bothered me, because so many things already clip to some degree. i'd rather have a waist cape, same placement as widows currently, to complete so many of my themes. on all body types.
that way i can finally have a dang feathered tail.
also, please make a tentacle cape [four to six tentacles like a squid or octopus [think cape of the four winds meets mutant origin cape] hanging from my back or as a tail/waist cape would be amazeballs]. that is all. -
oooOoOooOohhh now that i think about it, i would like to see a Recluse with a Son/Heir to his regime who is currently dating or married to that universe's Ms. Lib. A universe where Recluse and States didnt become rivals, or if they still did, it was in a friendly competetive sense. and the world was full of Spiders with Stars on their chests. underwater. in space.

I know that there is a lot we want as players, and little the devs can do without making complete new animations for emotes and powers, etc... so! Here are four of my suggestions, but there are plenty great ones out there!
These would make more sense as individual purchaseable powers, but they could also be expanded into pools with a couple more powers added.

pool expansion? - "Geyser/Puddle Burst" [geyser animation from DFB trial Hydra Heads'attack, as a single target knock up and smashing dmg.
"Whirlwind Transport"
-A fly based power with a tornado, dust devil or whirlwind animation tied in. to make it combat, add a kb or minor +def and minor -tohit debuff like hover+hurricane. no new power/emote animations needed. NOT AFFECT SELF bc it's basically fly with a special aura/path aura.
pool expansion? - updraft [similar to air superiority effect wise, knock up and smashing dmg. has a gusting upward animation.]
"Motor-Board"
-basically the slide power with a motorized skateboard model attatched, or heck even just a skateboard[ish]. with spherical wheels to acocmodate the sideways traveling. have a -fly/-jump built in. WHAM, dont need to detoggle powers and make an affect only. no new power/emote animations needed.
"LargeEagle/Condor/FoxBat/Mini-dragon/GiantButterfly/GiantDragonfly Transform"
-would be a toggle, affect only, transform - LIKE THE NEW COYOTE POWER[best new travel power yet!]. would have an auto fly, like Kheld Squiddies, constant flapping when stationary, wings out when soaring forward, backwards flapping. we have wings, potentially a bird model from the attack hawk power coming. can be done maybe!
ok that's all i have for now.any other not-so-farfetched ideas or ways to improve these? [i.e. NOT riding animals or free players, and not vehicles b/c that has been explained as not do-able many times. XD] thanks for reading!

Custom movement effects in the form of Path Auras don't negate my point that there are technical hurdles for the Devs when it comes to power pool customization.
I want ALL of the Power Pools to get some customization work done on them, INCLUDING the Speed Pool. If it's just going to be one pool, then why both with creating the tech?
omg. super jump but customized to have the dive and surface of the coralax from a "random pool of water" would make me: need new pants. although that would be difficult for SJ, huh.
