Of course you don't get a badge for defeating Paladin himself...

    Which you should IMO:

Actually, you're a dev, not a character in-game so you're exempt and as far as I know, nobody has DIED because of your Twitter use.

Of the villains mentioned by the OP, I would have to pick Protean. In the Freedom Phalanx novel, he gloats over having once killed a child he was holding as a hostage in a stand-off against Manticore.
You don't have to pick one of the villains I mentioned. ANY villain from the lore is fair game.
  5. I remember when we didn't get notice about the random events happening at all. We would just HAPPEN to be in Independence Port and see that the Ghost Ship or Lusca is up or whatever.
  6. Paragon Studios continues to fail...

    To disappoint!

Meh. I'm not going to be TOO unhappy about missing it.

And I do hope they plan on adding this, the Wisp Aura and the Facepalm emote especially to the Paragon Market or Astral/Empyrean Merit market. They would probably make a killing off putting it in the PM though.

You should make a music video of this!
  9. I think it could easily be split into two parts like the Positron TF was:

Part 1 involves keeping the Clockwork from siphoning Paragon City's power supply, thus preventing a city-wide blackout.

Part 2 involves hunting down and defeating the Clockwork King.

    Phipps for sure.
But what about doing what you're told and ENJOYING it (Assuming what you're told to do is evil?)

  12. Then again, those things that Westin Phipps does are ACTUALLY done by player villains, not Phipps himself.

Then again, any player villain who can actually stomach doing his missions (and actually ENJOYS doing his missions) might also be a contender.
  13. I had a thought recently. The CoX universe is filled with deviants who run the gamut between truly evil, to bizarre, facepalm-worthy Saturday Morning cartoon villain status. However, who do you think is the most evil?

Some of the villains I think are contenders:

    *SPOILER ALERT*

Nemesis-Master manipulator; tried to take over the United States and succeeded (Albeit temporarily); started the Rikti War, which led to the deaths of many heroes.

Hro'Dtohz-Knows the truth about how the Rikti War started, but kept it a secret to his troops to prevent him from becoming a war criminal and to fuel his own ambition; plots to bring the entire Rikti military to destroy Earth.

Darrin Wade-Killed Statesman, Sister Psyche and Miss Liberty; Attempted to merge with Rularuu.

Lord Recluse-Attempted to steal the powers of every superpowered being on Earth; tried to kill Statesman and take over or destroy Paragon City on many occasions; has hatched many plots to manipulate time itself; is the embodiment of the evil demigod Tartarus

Rularuu-Absorbed an unknown number of dimensions.

Tyrant-Plots to kill every superpowered being in Primal Earth, as well as any normal person who would oppose him; his minions torture and kill anyone who opposes him, while he uses propaganda to portray himself as a benevolent ruler.

Protean-killed Manticore's parents; put Manticore himself in the hospital and tried (and nearly succeeded) to kill the Back Alley Brawler; somehow aided the Praetorians; killed Dauntless, and attempted to kill every person Galaxy Girl helped; attempted to ruin the reputations of player heroes by creating evil dopplegangers of them.

Of course, these are only the villains I think are the most evil, feel free to vouch for any villain in the game and lore YOU think is the most evil.

This isn't likely, because I believe it has been said (or at least suggested) that I24 will wrap up Praetoria, possibly with defeating Praetorian Hamidon.

  16. ..... No comment. This is probably the strangest idea I have ever seen on the forums.
  17. Non-Canon? Along with the other Holiday Events? They're just fun seasonal things that aren't always on and have nothing to do with the overall lore.

Frankly, I prefer the term "badass." If someone can waltz into battle with no helmet and live to tell about it, let him go helmetless.

If Chuck Norris joined Arachnos (if Arachnos was a real organization, which it isn't of course,) would he wear a helmet?
  19. That is an interesting thought. I wonder if that's just a loose plot end that the devs are/were going to wrap up if the vocal ranters didn't get their way and end the Praetorian plotline before it was over. A few other characters I could've imagined as counterparts:

Frostfire-Probably a member of Powers Division
Count Crey, Countess Crey, & Hopkins-Probably members of the Syndicate
Dreck, Bile and Clamor-Members of the Resistance (Crusader anarchists)
    Atta-Member of the Destroyers
Emil Marcone, Guido Verandi and Sebastian Frost-Also members of the Syndicate

You shall be a green pus-filled pimple monkey for that insult.
  22. My 2 Inf:

Skeleton Costume set (So I can make a REAL skeleton character)
    Zombie Shamble travel power
    Mummy Costume set
    "Headless" head

I know. This is the only thing that concerns me about having turbans and other Arabian-themed costume pieces. Some idiot is going to form a SG of Muslim characters, send them all into the AE building and have them [Self-Destruction] themselves.

I hope that is an irrational fear. I would love to have the ability to make an authentic Arabian hero.
