RED came out today and it was AWESOME! absolutely hillarious, and well done. Great action, and some great comedic moments by a cast that was perfectly picked and worked brilliantly today.

A friend GMing Mutants and Masterminds game. The game is a future based legacy game,some 25 years into the future of the marvel universe. My Character is a legacy of Namor. Prince Mako of Atlantis. Super strong as all get out, amphibious, etc, he also has an ability to control water based on a water bending concept. ((basically Aquaman without the suck))

the group of which im playing runs into a mystery and in the course of the investigation we run into 3 super villains. Crusher Creel the Absorbing man, a Tiger shark variant, and a speedy martial artist villain.

Prince Mako enjoying a good fight but cunning enough to know that even as strong and as tough as he is, that hes out gunned uses trickery to thin thin the numbers a bit.

He uses his water bending to cause a snowball to hit crusher creel on the back of the head. Behind crusher creel is Tiger Shark. Crusher rolls his notice check and fails. Badly The GM rolls a natural 1. Creel turns and Promptly Clobbers Tiger Shark aftyer a brief argument knocking the powerful villain out cold. This is all the distraction Mako needs and with a maxed all out/ power attack haymaker the last thing the Absorbing man sees is Prince Makos freight train of a fist heading for his chin.

KAPOW!! Creel is not only knocked clean out after a failed toughness save but hes also sent several hundred feet airborne.

deciding to press the advantage I tell the Gm that I use my move action to Intimidate the Speedy little martial arts villain whos just witnessed the most powerful member of the three get cold cocked in one punch by yours trully.

I roll intimidation, and she rolls a will save.

She fails

horribly.

She turns tail and runs as fast as she can.

Unfortunately for her Mako is much faster having the speed power, and is easilly able to suddenly appear in front of her and demand her surrender.

she chose option 1, as option 2 involved broken bones and a hospital stay.

*head thumps desk*

Mask of the Phantasm - Loved It 10 stars out of 5 a masterpiece.
Return of the Joker - Another Masterpiece from the DCAU. A trully chilling performance from an outstanding mark hammil
Batman Subzero - Not as good as Mask but a good solid stand alone movie with yet another outstanding performance from Michael Ansara as mr Freeze.
Mystery of the Batwoman - Personally enjoyed it alot. A nice twist to the story and one of the best animated of the series with very good action.
The Batman vs Dracula - Watched and was passable, if your a fan of The Batman series youll enjoy it once.
Trouble in Tokyo - Enjoyed it a lot great movie for the series
Superman: Doomsday - Enjoyed it nice take on the death of superman story.
JL: New Frontier - Blaaaah (Ditto)
Batman: Gothan Knight - for me this was an interesitng story, very visually stimulating. If youve seen the animatrix youll understand.
Wonder Woman - Havent seen (curious about it)
Tales of the Black Freighter - Has not watched
GL: First Flight - Loved It, a great origin story for GL
B/S: Public Enemies - havent seen it.
JL: Crisis on Two Earths - Havent seen it.

Personal faves

1: Mask of the Phantasm - a true masterpiece and one of the best films ever (animated or otherwise)
2: Return of the Joker - Again A truly epic animated movie and a highlight of the Batman Beyond series.
3: Ultimate Avengers - A good solid well made debut for lions gate studios Marvel Animated features.

well to be fair the mayans have another 2 years to go.

I agree with nightphall. Rangers cna spec two weapon fighting style early and have everything youd need to be a scout and roll into wildrunner.

Asto the rest styalisticlly an elfen Zulu style warrior would seem to be a spring type fighter highly mobile and agile using the spear as the prime weapon and switching off to a short curved sword as needed to dart opast an opponetns guard.

Water Ship Down Another animation classic, while not as extensive as the novel it actually follows the novel pretty closely comparatively to others nowadays.

The Matrix This ones a cinema lovers dream.

First Blood. the original was a compelling tale of the disconnect Vietnam vets felt returning home, especially when combiend with the action of the movie. Stallones emotional crack up at the end is one of his best pieces of acting ever.

The Last Unicorn again an animated classic, some slight variation from the novel but with some exellent voice acting and a compelling and tear jerking story.

He can activate all 4 leadership powers at full power for everyone in the zone by just saying "Follow me!"

He regularly uses teleport team to port large groups to Pocket D for dance time.

He is the new Party Pack.

He uses Group fly by smiling. it lifts everyones spirits and they fly.

He doesnt have an evil doppleganger. because two of him would be just too much for the multiverse to take.

He once caught Captain Mako while fishing. After taking a picture Mako asked him to autograph it.

When he accompanies you on a cave map, the caves dont seem so bad.

Paragon protectors are an attempt to match the aswesomeness of his pinky finger. Its not working.

Circle of thorn mages explode just from his presence. This dissapoints him because hed really like to get to know them.

Mirror spirit looks at his reflection in the mirror. who can blame her?

A little known secret of Paragon is that Positrons original energy state was caused by trying to absord his awesomeness. The armor was made because one man who is not him cannot contain that much awesome.
