Yeah, that's AFAIK the only way you can get a negative prestige-flow outside of the bug... but as far as I can calculate, that means that the lowest Prestige you can possibly have is -280.000.
I currently have -1.600.000.
I figure I'll try the sell-buy trick next time I log in, but I've also petitioned the issue - maybe I'll leave it around for a bit so the GM's can take a look at it, might make it easier for 'em to fix it. -

Top personal healing badge for Villains is 1 billion HP healed - it's 2 billion for Heroes.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm almost certain this is wrong... only the first 3 Personal Healing Badges have their requirements reduced in CoV, AFAIK. As for the SG-healing-badges, I don't actually know, but I suspect they're unchanged.
Still, I think the villains actually got an EASIER time getting those badges. Why? Masterminds, that's why. Most Masterminds can earn healing-badges WITHOUT TEAMING, and the vastly larger number of targets - most of whom gets hurt rather easily - makes life particularly easy for AoE-healers. IIRC, the first person ever to attain the 'Empath' badge was a rad corruptor, farming it with a bunch of masterminds and a CoT damage-crystal... -
Say, what's the Arcane version of the AES called - and does anyone have a screenie of it?

I'm free all Friday, no problem.

at 8 PM GMT... that's 19:00 EST, for those on solid ground.
[/ QUOTE ]
In my defence, it was very late at night when I wrote that... 8 PM GMT would, of course, be 21:00 EST. >.< -
I just picked up a mission on my main villain which appears to be stocked with nothing but Werewolves and Vampires from end to other. So, if anyone wants to farm for the Slayer and Silver Bullet badges, this is probably as good as it gets... I'm running it tonight - December 20th - at 8 PM GMT... that's 19:00 EST, for those on solid ground.
One catch, though... the foes are level 41-ish. So the number of below-41 people we'll be able to accomodate is directly proportional to the number of 41-and-above people who decides to join...
Sign up here, and leave your global-tag so you're easier to reach. Oh, and the character I'll be running it on is named Vrykola, just FYI. -

even more so than claws emulates Wolverine

Do you realise how hard it is to Create a Char that can pull off the Claws, without it being a cat?
It's damned Hard, incase you haven't tried..
[/ QUOTE ]
I managed OK on my Claws/Energy Stalker... she's a rather slight female, and whenever she pops out her claws, it's rather obvious that there's now way those huge things could've ever been inside her hands or arms... as a matter of fact, they're created 'on the spot' from recombined energy, using her energy-manipulation powers. She could, potentially, attack with energy in a more direct way (she was originally Energy meele...), but favors the claws because she likes to see blood.Since they're made from pure energy, that also explains why they're utterly unbreakable, vanish in the thin air when she doesn't need them, and can slice through any solid material.

Good metabolism FTW! I'm pretty much living off a steady diet of cake, candy, fast-food and chocolate milk - and yet, I'm not overweight. And did I mention I hardly get any exercise? I love my genes. *snuggles genes* -

I've got size 13 shoes. Max is much taller than me and has smaller shoes.

Indeed, I'm only a size 10. And my friend who's about the same height as Silver Weasel has size 15 feet.

Well, you know what they say about the size of a man's feet...

Also, I'd love to join in PP-farming, since I need taht badge to unlock Viridian.

Things have moved on significantly since the days of women merely being the hero's wife at home baking a pie.

Heh... I remember an eppisode of the new JLA animated series, where half the JLA gets sent to an alternate dimention and encounters... a 60's comic-book version of themselves. The token female member of the group bakes cookies and fights crime - although she doesn't actually have any significant superpowers, and mostly just gets captured by the baddies so the others can rescue her heroically. -
Okay, so I've recently started playing my Stalker in a serious way... and I've begun to look a bit at optimized slotting. At the moment, I've got no extra slots in Hide, and the one I do have is, I think an endred. I've been working from the assumption that Hide, like other typse of stealth and invis, looses a large portion of its defence-buff when you attack, thus making it not worth slotting for defence.
Question is, am I right? Or should I pop a couple of DeffBuff ench in Hide as well? -

Myself and Terra amused ourselves watching the young (sort of 7-10 year old) boys at the Memorabillia event in Birmingham making their heroes, they all looked a bit like that, I seem to recall us discussing how dissapointed they were going to be when they finally got through puberty and realised that real women just don't come in those kind of shapes.
[/ QUOTE ]
Not unless they're superheroins on the side, that is.Remember Powergirl? Her boobs would get bigger issue by issue... good times.
Actually, for most origins, large mammaries makes logical sense... I mean, Mutation is essentially rapid evolution within a single generation, and it's a proven fact that women with a large rack have an advantage in virtually any line of work - so naturally, the X-gene would ensure that the girl got the best 'advantages' available. In the case of Science origin and the Tech-based ones that uses powersuits, it can be simply explained with the fact that most scientists are men - and lonely, repressed men at that. Thus their scientific transformation processes and Siren-model battlesuits inevitably has a 'design choice' involving a nice chest-size. Magic? Well, concidering that pretty much the same rules apply to wizards as to scientists, it's no surprise that someone came up with a breast-enlargement spell ages ago. If a girl receives her power from some male wizard, he's likely to mix it in without saying so - and even if her power is personal, well, girls DO like to look good, as is proven by the number of women who undergo expensive and painful surgical breast-enlargements... given the opportunity to get a nice rack with a simple spell, many would take it.
However, in the case of tech-based non-powersuited types, and the natural origin girls, it doesn't actually make much sense. Especially not for the Naturals... I mean, take a look at RL female elite soldiers and elite sportswomen - due to their intense training-regimen and restrictive diets, they've hardly got one ounce of fat on their bodies - and since that's basically what boobs are made of, well, they don't have much in that area either.(Okay, so there are exceptions in the world of sports, like Venus Williams, but still...)

Whatever happened to the "Don't ask, don't tell" policy?
As for me, though... I've made a couple of female characters, and most of them had a more-or-less revealing costume - with, however, a given reason in the backstory as to why. For example, I used to have a Fire Dominatrix who ran around in a micro-mini-skirt and a bra - the reason? Her recently-awakened mutant pyrokinetics were out of control, permantently surrounding her in a cocoon of tropical heat. Resultingly, wearing anything more was simply too hot! There was even a touch of irony included in it, since the thing that started her off on her path to crime was... stealing expensive branded design-clothing. Which she now can't wear without getting a heat-stroke.
Let's see... my stalker, Ergeist, wears a skintight black costume, but that's just for practical reasons. She's far too insane to pay any particular attention to looking sexy. And besides, I don't know how many guys would find a bald, one-eyed scarfaced girl all that attractive, regardless of bust-size...
My PB, DarkBright, has quite a bust-size, but that just comes naturally from being an overall very big girl... and she doesn't dress particularly sexily either, usually wearing some form of martial-arts ropes. However, come to think of it, she USED to have a bit of a nekkid costume - using one of the 'Emperor Ming'-style robes and no pants, since it covered most of the naughty bits anyway. Then again, PB's got inherent flight, soo...However, I changed that costume to something more modest when that robe was changed in such a way that it no longer worked with my choice of belt without horrifying clipping.
My Blaster, Heat Fulcrum, is the highest-leveled female character I've got, and has two costumes that could be concidered 'risque'... her first costume features a military jacke open at the front, with nothing under it. The reason for this being that it's her uniform-jacket from when she served in a japanese Special Forces unit, which she's hanged on to for nostalgic reasons - but when her latent mutation was triggeered during a battle with a supervillain, her altered biology caused her chest-size to grow conciderably, so it doesn't fit all that well anymore. Her fourth costume is basically naked - but blue, with wings, much longer hair than usual and glowing purple eyes. Basically, it's her 'final evolution', effectively rendering her 'transcendent' and as such above such unimportant details as clothes...
However, neither one of those two points are mentioned in her in-game bio, due to space constrictions... bah! We need more space! -
Strikebreaker, mission badge gained from Lorenz Ansaldo... needed for the Megalomaniac accolade. I got it on my brute, if you need it, you're welcome to tag along, regardless of levels - I'm not looking for exp, quite the opposite actually.
I'll run it tomorrow, tuesday the 12th of December, 'round 5 PM GMT. If you wanna join in, either say it here, or just send me a tell-ingame at @BlackDragon 'round the appropriate time... -
I'm still more than happy to provide transfer services... my main villain's VG is growing, and more infamy is needed to finance the lowbies!
-
Indeed - the Alien Tech, Aberrant Tech, Demon Heart and Spells of Power are used in building advanced base defences, and never in production of individual components. There's also certain rare pieces of salvage that can be used BOTH as parts for components, AND as keystone pieces for a finished creation... obviously, it's better to save those for the final constructs.
-
My main villain is 39, and I don't think I'll have 'space' to pull the Second Respec after 40, so I'd really like to get it done ASAP... so, basically, if anyone's planning to do it, I'd like to tag along on my Necro/Dark Mastermind.
Fastest way to reach me is usually Global Tell to @BlackDragon - I'm generally on at least once a day, so I'll get it. Any time is good with me, more or less...
I guess I could try to organize a team myself, but whenever I do that, I inevitably end up getting invited along for one the day before it's scheduled... so I figured I might as well skip straight to that point, this time. -
Not if it never touches the ground...
I'd like to be there, but frankly, the way things are looking right now, it's not too likely. It would mean that I either stay up for another 3 hours - and I'm getting just a tad sleepy, here, having been up since yesterday evening - or go to bed and then wake up in 2½ hour or so... -.-
Besides, I'm fairly confident that it will EVENTUALLY get fixed, at which point I'll hunt it down... don't wanna end up like those people who spent months chasing down the 'Gunner' badge when it was bugged, only to watch people get it in less than an hour after it got fixed. -
Ehm, sorry, but I'm afraid I'll have to pull out... there's nothing stopping the rest of you from going on ahead, though.
Sorry. -

Gee, and I was afraid I was cutting it too close by announcing it this late... -
Ice Mistral Strikeforce. Day after tomorrow, Sunday, December 3rd. Say, 6 PM? GMT, of course. It'll probably take a couple of hours at least.
Level 35 minimum. We'll need at least 4 evil individuals to run the SF at all, but the more the merrier - especially what with an AV at the end.
Crystal Keeper badge awarded at the end - and don't forget, that goes towards the Megalomaniac accolade.
Oh, and unless we're fortunate enough to snag a Rad Corruptor, it's strictly BYOS (Bring Your Own Shivan)
I'm bringing my level 39 Necro/Dark Mastermind, Vrykola, to the party. Please sign up with character name, level, powersets, AT and global handle... -
Hey, I'd be happy to facilitate a transfer - tried to send you an in-game Global, but apparently, you weren't on...
Regardless, I'd be able to match 3-4 millions easy 'nuff, but preferably not more than that, or my main hero will start to get a bit poor. Just name a time and a place. -
