Somehow have -80000 prestige in edit mode

I was just building a simple base (as we're a new bunch and a new SG) and was quite happy with what I'd done and had 42k of prestige left.

For some reason, in Edit Base mode, it now says -80,000 but when I look at Super > Settings > it says 42,000 still.....

So what did I do? I didn't buy anything I could see it just suddenly dropped by 120k!

Help!

that's happened to me a couple of times and i sorted it by selling something from the base (and then buying it back again)

Thanks seems to be ok now

Whilst I got you, what would I need to do to build an inspiration dispenser? I'm very new to all of this =)

i believe your supergroup has to earn one or more badges for healing before you get the plans for that

The Inspiration Dispenser is unlocked by obtaining the first SG Healing badge. So you need to have healers in the SG, healing a lot on the higher levels, while in SG mode, for a long time, before you can get it.

So you'd better kick out all those Forcefield/Sonic/Trick Arrow Defenders. They're worthless. W3 n33d 4 h34lz0r!!!

Note: The above is satire. I like buff/debuff sets a lot, and have a Forcefield Defender myself. I'm just annoyed that the Devs decided to make a bunch of badges exclusively for healers, including 3 SG-healing badges that unlocks extremely worthwhile hardware.

Here here. We have a largish SG and are still only about halfway to the SECOND of the healing badges. While I've no illusions that, as a Rad Defender, I won't be getting the surgeon badge any time soon, the fact that these SG badges are way out of our reach too is a little disheartening.

The worst thing is trying to get the badges on CoV ( I apologise for going off topic but ya know :P )...With no Empathy, only Rad Heal/Kin Heal/Fire heal Corruptors..It kinda sucks

Murf.

Are the SG healing badges for Villains the same as for Heroes? I know the personal healing badges for Villains have half the requirements of the Hero ones.

Top personal healing badge for Villains is 1 billion HP healed - it's 2 billion for Heroes.

I'm almost certain this is wrong... only the first 3 Personal Healing Badges have their requirements reduced in CoV, AFAIK. As for the SG-healing-badges, I don't actually know, but I suspect they're unchanged.

Still, I think the villains actually got an EASIER time getting those badges. Why? Masterminds, that's why. Most Masterminds can earn healing-badges WITHOUT TEAMING, and the vastly larger number of targets - most of whom gets hurt rather easily - makes life particularly easy for AoE-healers. IIRC, the first person ever to attain the 'Empath' badge was a rad corruptor, farming it with a bunch of masterminds and a CoT damage-crystal...

This usually happens if you start an SG and start building a base, and one/some of the people who joined at the start, leave the SG. You loose the 20k bonus i think it is, if one of the first 15 people to join, quits.

Yeah, that's AFAIK the only way you can get a negative prestige-flow outside of the bug... but as far as I can calculate, that means that the lowest Prestige you can possibly have is -280.000.

I currently have -1.600.000.

I figure I'll try the sell-buy trick next time I log in, but I've also petitioned the issue - maybe I'll leave it around for a bit so the GM's can take a look at it, might make it easier for 'em to fix it.

Ditto, in a permanently full and active SG we do not have a single Empathy Defender. Strangely, we have simply never "needed a healer".

It's probably due to, from my experience anyway, any negative change to prestige is instant, whereas any positive has a dely in it for some daft reason, they seem to only have a periodical check on gains. Give it a try defeating enemies with the SG window open, showing your prestige, it won't move for ages then it'll suddenly jump. Nearly drove me nuts one night ages back when I was trying to get the last few 100 prestige for another base item before logging for the night.

That's true, Grave... when I petitioned it, they informed me that ther's a 10-minute timer delay on gains - I still can't see how that can take me into the red, though, unless I'm trading something in.

It might not be "officially accepting" the refund from selling something, so although you've sold something and bought something else, it's not yet added the refund from the sale but has deducted the purchase, as you do have the prestige necessary, even if it doesn't show it correctly. Maybe I'm just grasping at straws here though, but previously this was what I felt was the reason everytime it tried to claim we'd negative prestige in the SG.

I have always regained my prestige instantly when selling base items, it's only the prestige earned by heroes that seems to take a while (in my experience). As for the 20k for your first members, you will only lose that prestige if there is no one to replace them, i.e. if you stay above 15 members you will never lose prestige if someone quits or is kicked out.

Our VG has only 20 members and at leat 7 of them are masterminds. 5 of them have dark as their secondary and we have earned enough prestige to get a fully functional base with teleports to all areas, medical bay, workshop etc but are still only halfway to the first healing badge. The storm warriors SG has been running for over a year and has run out of things to buy, but still only has the first healing badge.

I think it is one of the hardest to get of all the base badges.

Our spinoff Union VG was just under 50% of the way to the first healing badge when I started my Robot/Dark. We had a very low population of villains on at the time (I was usually the only one on in the evenings) but our SG got the badge by the time I hit the mid-40s, by 50 I'd made some inroads into the second badge. After that I stopped checking and went back to heroes...

I played a very defenderish MM though, until I got Fluffy I was usually debuffing and regularly spammed the AoE heal on my Bots. I wore that "Mad Scientist" title with Pride!

Also I'll admit to farming damage for a few hours one evening while watching Rocky III... I was soloing in a maximum-difficulty CoT mish and parked my MM next to a red crystal with bots on STAY/Passive and Twilight grasp targetted on a nearby Door and set on Auto. The upshot was that the bots got about damaged by about 40-45% between twilight grasps, so 2 Heals could miss in a row and they'd still survive to be hit by the third. I easily made over 400k "team healing" in SG mode by the time the movie finished: I checked the PC afterwards and had a nice shiny new badge!
