stone prison should be slotted for damage.
a hold proc in it, when you have fossilize and ko blow is pretty much worthless.
your slotting seems a bit wonky, i wouldn't build a toon like that.
i'd say i'll post the build i'm making for shini's wp/ss tank, but im too lazy to spend money on something that will certainly be subpar. -

and your damage is gonna suck unless you crit. (like all scrappers)
i generally get killed by MA scrappers more often than by fire scrappers (Silverfox is quite possibly the bane of my existence in RV). Web + Eagle's Claw = goddammit, i'm gonna die cause there's 4 people on the other side coming at me, right?

I kind of get where you are coming from as far as the attitudes. I was doing some 1v1's tonight on a new build/toon of mine and some guy messaged me out the blue and basically was telling me how therms are cheap and no one is going to 1v1 me. I get out of a match and the same person sends me a blind arena invite on a different toon. Of course I am happy I am getting to pvp and go in the match without paying attention. He sets the match in the cargo ship and he is on a dark corrupter. Kills me then precedes to start talking smack in broadcast that I can't run from him on this map like I could the stupid dom I had just beat on the Perez Park map. So I spent the match running in circles with his debuff toggle on me. No GG at the end or anything. I never said a thing to him before, during or after to deserve smack talking. Then after the match he says in local channel to the next person I am going against that I suck as a therm. Then when I beat that person he tells them that they suck for letting me beat them. I don't see that kind of childish crap on Virtue, I also haven't seen nearly the skill level that I see on Freedom. Personally I would rather ignore the idiots and participate in better pvp.

the problem is still perception vs. phase.
if you wanna disrupt, go make an ice/cold controller.
if you wanna disrupt and debuff spike targets make a sonic/cold or a rad/cold.
you can still get to 50 in less than 24 hours of play if you have a half-decent brute, dom or scrapper to farm with.
stay away from fire blast.
stay away from ice blast until someone checks if those slow procs make up for the craptastic damage. -

our trapper told the kin (rokur and jyst) not to id him and just follow him in. he set up poison traps there. everyone gets held. stalkers move in, kins go on the offensive...
after we kill two of them, i jump in and cage the sole mind dom in vrc's team (aura on agitated dot).
there's a bit more strategy involved in the latter part, but yeah... im lazy.
it's funny in the sense that when we ran internals, our counter team generally consisted of a mind dom with confuse on the opposite side, who'd spend the whole match stacking confuses on the trapper 'til it became a non-issue (5 mins of that, then it was horrifying for the trapper team; remember, this was way back when spawn camping was fast, easy and the reason many matches were won or lost). -

Looking for opinions as to which power pools I should go with on my Shields/EM tank which is about to hit 50 (from the old AE days).
I'm considering Aid Self/SS/SJ/Fitness for the whole psychological hopelessness factor (ever had a tank hit aidself after you've worked him down to 25% health? i rage a little when that happens).
Ideas?

spines has enough toys that you will never be out of things to take.
i mean, i can understand how in zone it can add a bit of survivability, but the same can be said of invisibility (which every stalker should have), or even the godmode.
did you take ripper? throw spines? those two, when proc'd are better than taking hiber and are generally ignored (i think the only person i've seen with those is hellora's spines/ea/dark stalker).
edit: hell, even the hold with two lockdowns for 2%dmg is better. -

Thank god Controllers don't have access to webnades from a epic. Mage's cold would be so OP. On a serious note...i wonder how they are going to fix slows, it's obvious ice/cold controllers slows are working well....but you have to stack a ton of slows to get there. If they fix slows across the board...they will end up buffing mages's cold as well.....and lord knows he does not need a buff.....
proc all the attacks with the chance for -recharge (double proc -rcgh onto bitter ice blast from the -tohit set), get webnades and.. yeah... could be workable. -
