MA/Regen or FM/Regen
Fire is better. MA has Eagle's Claw going for it but that's about it.

Someone mentioned that MA is good for its stuns? Not sure how true that is.

For zones ma is actually better than fire. Put ec on auto and play like a pro.

I'd say its pretty close between the two. The auto stun on EC is pretty nice as well as the increased crit chance on the heaviest hitting power.
Fire on the other hand, hits like a truck and the DoT's are nice for keeping stalkers out of hide a few seconds longer. Between damage procs (Its easy to slot each attack for 2) and crits the damage can be really brutal.
I think one of the funniest kills recently I've seen was in RV was myself and another scrapper running up to a recently webnaded stalker. Both with BU/GFS both landing the crit for as close to an instant death as you can get.
I'm biased, but I would say MA/ is better because of the stun in Eagles Claw . The stun is great for two scenarios:
1. You don't even have to slot if for a stun and it lasts long enough to prevent your opponent from fleeing before you can follow up with Crane Kick. Also, giving your team a couple seconds to pile on the damage.
2. If you are Fire/ and get a toggle debuff placed on you, there's no way for you to knock it off using your primary outside of killing the debuffer or just phasing and fleeing. With Eagles Claw I can just hit the debuffer once and it's detoggled.
I only have experience fighting a Fire/Regen in arena on my Fire/SS/Earth tank, but I was impressed with the damage output he had against me even though my tank had like 61% resist to fire with DR on, but then again I was just standing there.
For zones ma is actually better than fire. Put ec on auto and play like a pro.

fire doesn't stun.
and your damage is gonna suck unless you crit. (like all scrappers)
i generally get killed by MA scrappers more often than by fire scrappers (Silverfox is quite possibly the bane of my existence in RV). Web + Eagle's Claw = goddammit, i'm gonna die cause there's 4 people on the other side coming at me, right?
but im bad.
So I want to pvp on a scrapper, but I'm not sure which would be best for some zone pvp. If some people could help me out with this.
