It wasn't too long ago that Fly powers got a speed buff and an End use reduction.
In I18, the base speed of Fly will be increased again 33%. This brings Fly with one SO Flight Enhancement right close to the fly cap speed. It also is a significant boost to Hover.
Note that this buffage is currently bugged on Beta where it was buffed too much. Unlsotted Fly is 9 mph *over* the speed cap (but the speed cap caps it) and that's not right. -

For a reason I find completely unreasonable, they don't want you coloring Pain Domination to look like Empathy.

Note that the Proc120s have been 'fixed' for Issue 18. They were never intended to last for 120 after a Toggle is shut off. They now immediately shut off when the Toggle is shut off.
While the Toggle is on, they do continue to work the entire time the Toggle is on.
In Passive powers, they are always on while the Passive is working.
In Click Powers, they will work for 120 seconds (pulsing or checking every 10 seconds for the 120 second duration). -

Mission Architect
- Back v. Middle Glowies Objectives Fixed: On many maps the designation of 'Back' v. 'Middle' were reversed. Well, the reversal was reversed and the designations are now correct. This means established arcs may have to be 'fixed' to allow for this fix.
UI
- Alignment Icon: A round alignment icon has been added to the Health window to show one's alignment: Hero; Vigilante; Rogue; Villain; Praetorian (tutorial); Resistance; Loyalist.

The buff to Speed was just supposed to be a 33% increase to the base speed. But they unintentionally made it 50%. Then, when they went to fix that, they accidentally buffed it even further!
Unenhanced Fly is now 9 mph over the flight cap. That is wrong. And Castle acknowledges it's wrong and said so.
Do not rely on the new overbuffed buff to stay like this.
I advise everyone to keep their enhancements exactly the way they've always been doing it until this gets properly fixed. -

I remember a short story I read in High School (a loooong time ago) where the first contact by an alien race was met with all the official hoopla with the government and then the visitors (who were very humanoid) roamed the city streets as tourists and promptly got fleeced by the most obvious of cons.
For you see, they weren't that bright. They had intergalactic space flight technology only because their civilization was very old and they slowly accrued information over the eons.

Thankfully, that's $3 million dollars for the quarter. A rough guess is that CoH will only make $5 million dollars for the year, unless they got some trick up their sleeve to significantly raise that figure like releasing a boxed expansion. But that's crazy talk.

1. Power Pools! Yeah, I know that require coders' time to implement, but the huge, bright yellow clouds on hands and feet for SuperSpeed and Hasten just ruin so many costuming and aura looks.
2. Alternate Sounds! Yeah, I know... more coder time. But after Hasten and SuperSpeed is dealt with, I can't think of one animation that I hate. Meanwhile, I can think of dozens of sounds I hate and would rather trade for something else or shut off completely (which I do anyway with the sound overlay files of silence).
