Eh, not really sold on explaining meta-game stuff. Kind of like the whole XP Bar thing, the hero Corps Reps/Fateweavers belonging to stupidly named groups, the Mediporter, etc.
But at least this seems thought out and isn't "4XP". Plus, maybe the merit vendors will get better colors for their costumes. -
Don't give out personal info.
Toss creeps on the ignore list and avoid them.
Just treat them like you would any other troll, because trolls will go anywhere, including a female-only server. -
Quote:I don't know, either. I'm not saying Thundercats sucked back in the day, but it wasn't the greatest show ever made, either. Not like it'd be doing anything a disservice for someone to want to do their own version of the story. Why do I feel sick knowing this is going to be redone?
Speaking of reboots, though, anyone know the likelihood of Reboot getting a reboot? Every time I see the word I think of the show. I miss Bob and Enzo.
As to the Reboot reboot, here's the only thing we have to go on. -
Unrelated, but did GG bite you and turn you into one of her or something?

Quote:The red eye beams could have been the Laser Beam Eyes Ancillary power, and the character could have just been a dual blades or claws character.hey , i just saw something in the RWZ on virtue , right before the servers shut down . it looked like a Mk-VI "Victoria" , and it was fighting the rikti dummies in the base . But , it was more than just a costume cause it had red eye beams and it was using its blades . So i dont think it was just somebody with a costume , or does this costume come with powers ?

Quote:Thing is, he's just been featured in the new tutorial and I think the devs might be more reluctant to go back and revamp content they just made rather than ancient content that needs to be updated eventually anyway. My money's actually on BaBs.
With the destruction of Galaxy City, it leaves things open for him to be removed as a trainer, since the zone he is a trainer in is not going to be there anymore.
He's the only one of the Phalanx that can be easily removed from the game world, since Galaxy City will no longer be there for him to train people in, removing him will have less impact than any of the other Phalanx members. He is also the only Phalanx member who is not a contact for a Task Force.
Posi, Synapse, Sister Psyche, Citadel, Manticore, Numina, and Statesman all have TFs that would have to be rewritten if they were killed off. Back Alley Brawler can simply be removed as a trainer, and they're already destroying the zone he's found in anyway.
BaBs is the easiest character for them to kill off without making more work for the devs, so it makes the most sense for it to be him.
Not to mention killing off someone with a TF gives the devs an excellent opportunity to include a newer, updated TF in it's place. -
Might wanna add the day to the "When" area on your table, just to make it easier.
And if RL doesn't toss something my way, I'll try to make it. Sounds like a good way to muster up some non-D RP and strengthen the community. -
Positron ain't going because he's the only one with a newer, updated and popular TF.
Statesman ain't going because he's been featured so prominently on all of the CoH advertising lately. He's even on the load screen. It just wouldn't work if he were dead, but featured fighting enemies.
These two are definites.
There's a good chance BaBs'll stay, along with Psyche, due to both of them being featured in the new tutorial fighting the Shivans.
Numina's technically already dead, so she's safe. Although something could happen to her that would destroy her spirit.
That leaves Citadel, Manticore, and Synapse as the biggest targets. These three have the most badly-needing-an-update TFs blueside, so I could see one of them dying then getting a new TF contact that hands out an updated version of their TF. -
Quote:Because the same folks that make the music work on things like PvP, right?Although the AP music is a nostalgic memory that will always be attached (for me anyway) with this game, I find it truly hilarious that the devs consider changing the bloody music (that no one wants changed anyway) important, while other parts of the game are completely broke i,e PvP.
Priorities=bad. -
Quote:Hero Corps uses nearly all costume pieces players have available. The only issue is their chest straps, but they look nearly identical to the Stealth chest piece, so that issue is resolved easily. With Freedom approaching, the devs will be pushing new content out a lot more frequently than in the past. Players who enjoy playing an employee of Hero Corps would be well served to open a suggestion thread asking for a Hero Corps costume pack as a Paragon Market item.

No one's ever even hinted that CoH2 is even a plan. All they did was buy a name. Businesses do that all the time just to make sure other companies can't have it.

Eh. Double XP just ain't that big a deal anymore with all the ways the devs have made leveling so much easier.
-
A lot of the music, damn near all of it actually, is just generic, easily forgettable techno. It really needs an update to make it interesting and better invoke emotions upon entering certain areas.
The only problem I would have is that CoH does have a sort of theme music with the Atlas Plaza theme, but by the sounds of that link they're keeping it and updating it, so s'all good. -
Haven't run the arcs in awhile, but isn't it every time they get exposed the Countess just manages to evade it all and has a team of lawyers and spin doctors change the whole thing in the public's eye so they don't seem bad? Even when you go to arrest her she manages to get free.

On the subject of "Pocket D is srz RP", I can not take a dance club as a serious place to do anything. It's a dance club. You hang out, unwind, and relax there. That's the kind of RP I'd expect to see and would be fine with. But I see so often epic battles of heroes vs. villains, literal gods god moding everywhere, constant ERP, and general jack ***** that feel the need to be better than you and cause a conflict. That's, like, the opposite place to unwind, kick back, and have fun. Then there's the whole "Lore says we can't fight here, but we do it anyway!" bit. If you wanna battle, take it to the ruins of RWZ or the arena terminals.
I used to use the D as a hangout spot for months and rarely did I ever see general hang out RP. So that's why I avoid it, at least. -

Quote:Fly does cap once you take it. That cap also increases as you level. So for a low level, it'll be in the 40s, higher level the 50s. But it will always be capped. Why do people keep saying this? The ParagonWiki is wrong.
Fly does not hit cap as soon as you take it.
I'm looking at my level 15 character right now (well, when I alt-tab). Swift has a level 15 Fly IO, Fly has two level 15 Fly IOs. The Movement portion of the Combat Attributes says the Flying Speed is 43.60 mph. -
Certain badge titles. That's really it. Once you leave Praetoria, the world treats you like a Primal of the faction you chose, save for a couple lines of dialogue in the recent storyarcs.

That makes me really disappoint. Devs, you sure know how to go on a roll of cool and then do something stupid.
