...will you use on your characters? Will you get your colors to match your costume? Will you make each power different and unique with a rainbow of colors? Will you choose specific colors for specific powers to help them in gameplay?

I have remade PK as a level 1 on Justice for a solo project inspired by a thread in the Defender forum. Needless to say, aside from BRIGHT RED Personal Force Field and Detention Field (YES! FINALLY!) ALL of PK's powers are now pure white, just as I had always imagined Philotic powers to look like. It's about damn time.

This is the best Issue since they introduced the Shadow Shard, if you ask me.

Now that we can customize our power's colors and animations and our level difficulty AND even our team size (!!!)..... what's left to do now?

I know....

I want my Electrical blasts to sound like various farts, dammit!

What are you doing wrong? Well, where are you trying to hold these "contests"? If it's on Freedom or Virtue, that's your problem right there. Move, and you'll find a better and less stupid/cynical community. On almost every other server.

It's very simple. I suspect that the Devs are actually TRYING to find ways to give Defenders more damage, and they are "trying" this in sneaky ways to see which ones work and which ones are too powerful in the live environment.

Fact: They added a blast set AND a primary set that causes damage resistance debuffs (Sonic)

Fact?: They added a blast set (Ice) that has strong single target attacks compared to most of the other blast sets and I have HEARD that the ice storm AoE has the same DAMAGE numbers as the Blaster version. Someone correct me please if I'm wrong, but if it's really there then I suspect it's not a bug and was done intentionally.

Speculation: The Assault Rifle port over will also have numbers CLOSER to Blaster numbers in terms of damage than previous Defender Blast sets. I'm sure someone could go on Test right now and confirm or destroy this speculation. I myself avoid the Test Server because I don't want to spoil new Issues for myself.


So my theory is that this is the Devs' attempt at slowly "testing" buffs to Defender damage, a little here, a little there, to see how each one works or doesn't work. What do you think? Is this all completely inaccurate?

Well, it wouldn't be a CONSPIRACY THEORY if it wasn't based on a ton of speculation and possible misinformation, would it? And a man can dream, can't he?

This has become City of Wallflowers, that's just not going to change. If you want to be on a team, you'll have to change with it, and lead.

I really need to alter/update my guide to make it more general....

If you still can't get a FULL team together in LESS than a half an hour after reading that guide....

...then you should send me a PM on these boards with a time and place that you want me to meet you in-game and I'll form the damn team for you and show you that it's not as hard as you're making it out to be.

I wonder if anyone would take me up on that, or if they'd rather sit outside of the game and keep complaining instead?
