Ostensibly, if someone has a lot of positive rep points, it means that they are making posts that people approve of, whether for factual and necessary information, witty commentary, etc. Likewise, if someone has a lot of negative rep, you can probably assume that they're known for being a jerk, troll, etc., and to take their posts with a grain of salt.
I just wish I could get the comment in the Control Panel back... they were so fun! -

No, this isn't about the Kora fruit, but instead what I think might have been the original inspiration for the Shadow Shard, or at least for some of the components.
I had just remembered about an old Choose Your Own Adventure™ book from my childhood. It was about going to Australia, specifically the area known at the time by westerners as Ayer's Rock, and doing some exploring in the many CAVES that were dug into the rock.
There was also some snippets about the local beliefs about "Dreamtime" which is essentially an aboriginal creation story. As I was reading about this stuff all over again 20 years later, it started to come to me.... and then it hit me... as soon as I found out what the natives actually call Ayer's Rock...

Really? Wow.... after that it all made sense to me.... Rularuu, the "dreaming God"... Dreamtime... craggy rock formations with bizarre mythological beings that seem to come from another time and place...

There are infinite spelling issues and typos all across the game. I think they should pay someone for two weeks just to do nothing but go through those texts and fix all those little problems. It hurts my inner grammar Nazi every time I see a typo that I KNOW has been in the game since the beginning still there.

With SSK and the opening of the hazard zones, I honestly don't even see the point of level pacts anymore.

You can still see your OWN rep no matter what, just take any of your posts and try to rep yourself. It will show you your rep score. People can still rep you and you can still see it. "Disabling rep" only disables the PUBLIC DISPLAY of your rep. The previous centralized location for viewing rep COMMENTS, however has been disabled. The only way to view your rep comments now is to go to each and every one of your posts and try to rep yourself to see the comments for that post.
And considering the number of posts I have daily? Yeah... I ain't doing that. -
