Should I worry about the tohits?

Brilliant.

The latest respec on my NRG/NRG blaster looks to have Aim, Build Up and Power Boost and yes he's running shy on slots !

Advice on the appropriate slotting, if poss?

This is a shame, I wouldn't mind helping out a few Coal buddies on my main, but he is the leader of his SG and can't just leave and be re-invited really....

In the powers, Aim and Build Up, I want 3 slots of recharge for maximum use but how many should I devote to the ToHit buffs?

Also, what powers are good defence against holds, immobs, sleeps etc? Obviously BF's! but what else?

didn't realise there was an event on (was originally gonna be out anyway) but got the call and promptly got stuck in for a couple of hours.

At first glance it appears okay but I'm looking to see where's good to go for my ws.

A couple of questions:
1) Does a tri form ws need the Fitness pool? Surely there are enough areas to fit in the End Mods?
2) In the above build, is there enough damage and accuracy in the powers?

Dangerously on target with that statement , pvp is not dead on the EU, (i'm guessing not as mad as on the US though) Siren's and Warburg are rampant with activity, possibly the occasional low, Bloody Bay is sadly often desolate but has had a small surge lately (shame, tis a great map!) and RV i know to be quiet.

I've seen a couple of badge farming posts, but what about some BB or RV posts, pitching villains against heroes? Like many other pvp'ers, I'm willing toswap to the underdog side and help keep it even

You have my vote.

Blow being an Uber build, go with a concept if that's the way you're inclined. All my builds are in-keeping with their 'character' and play well once you know them.

Sure, they'll inevitably need tweaking with respecs or a penchant for pvp but they're all in all fun to play.

As an aside, a mate of mine and i play an MA/SR duo, it's great seeing both characters knuckle their way thru mobs!

Okay heroes of Paragon!

So far we have a 'gameshow' on the beach! This will prob be limited to about 4 lucky contestants!

Costume comps are:

Best Themed 4 e.g. Ghostbusters (team event, 4 in team needed to qualify!) NO Fantas1c 4 etc! EULA blah blah blah!
Tarts and vicars (couples event)Cross dressing optional.
Best Star Wars look-a-like. (this may change if in breach of anything)

and the swim race for those lvl 13 and below!

Cash prizes, possibly some Salvage prizes (must check stock...) and fun!

As ever, invite open to all to just come along for fun and frolics!

The Primary is Katana, i don't know the set so don't know of any toggles, also not decided which pools to take.

This is to be my new main on CoH and I'm approaching lvl 6, so need to get the pools started!

The lag did get quite bad for a lot of people and there's not much in the way this could be helped, I was lucky in that mine was tolerable.

Now it would be more varied with a year on villains, players have more heroes AND villains to choose from.

It was instanced into 3-4 areas, bad in that maybe you couldn't team with your mate but good in that there was the opportunity to hop into 3 as the villains outnumbered the heroes (well to start with anyway!).

They did try over Broadcast both before the event and during, but due to the high volume of eager players, some of them spamming, people not reading and the instancing, Bridger and Rockjaw's work was considerably cut out. Despite trying to organise battles for the hotspots, let's face it, people just wanna scrap with the enemy!
Broadcast (or a silenced leader led channel etc...) is pretty much the only way to convey discussion and planning. There were loads of players that just wanted to trash talk the villains and vice versa and why not, it's fun! Any other ideas on how to organise a mob, I'm sure they'd be grateful.

Part of this comes down us the players; I've seen some you lot in PvP and seen other players trade sides when its dull due being on the outnumbering side. I myself like to go to the underdog side and see if victory can be pulled out of the hat! This doesn't always happen but it's good to see when it does.

Both do. And the events are for the most part, great fun.

To summarise, these events are good fun and have good turn outs, the best one to date was the RV event on test.

Glasses up for more of these events from anyone willing to organise it!

That said, you're Gambit was prob the closest one, followed by Jubilee, not sure what Jean Grey you were going with here! I've seen better a Beast, Colossus and from the selection of Wolverines that pass thru before their generichero000 status, I've seen some good ones.

Hello heroes of Paraon City!

Indeed, it will have been a year since The Paragon Knights first went about fighting crime in our fair city.

Some you we'll know, some us you will know but that doesn't matter because everyone is invited to the Talos Beach Party to help us celebrate and have an off-duty catch up with friends.

It'll be Thu 12/10/06, with kick-off at 19:00 BST on Talos Beach.

There is talk of games and what not, i've got as far as saying there'll be a few cozzy comps and maybe a swimming race, so aside from an invite, feel free to pop ideas here and I'll post the cozzy comps a week before.

If anyone can add to this event or bring anything to it, it'd would be appreciated.
