Same. It also clears all accolade selections.
-
Clicky Accolades are certainly affected by global recharge bonuses. My Scrappers recharges in 15 minutes, my blaster's in 7-8.

He did mention he's using the Recharge Alpha in the post right above yours. On a side note. Looking at both builds I like the changes you made to the build. And factoring in the T3 all his debuffs and PA are perma..aside from Sleet which is one second off..but that's understandable with the rubbish recharge on Posi Blasts.
Although at this point with the T3 in Mids he can safely get rid of 16.25% of his recharge bonuses and STILL Have his PA and all debuffs at Perma. Especially with the T4 coming up in a couple weeks.
Edit: I'm trying playing with the build seeing how he can easily dump some of the recharge from it. There are actually quite a lot of possibilities he can do with his powers now. For example, he can drop the Decimations from Spectral Wounds and simply Frankenslot it for Maximum Damage/Recharge and Good accuracy, and then do the same for Fire Blast (Or whatever Epic he chooses). Or he can Lose the set in Tough and put three Titanium coatings for the HP bonus which will free two slots. Get rid of the set in Spectral Horror and save some slots. Then add a sixth Slot in Blind for a pure Damage or another Nucleolus, and sixth slot with recharge to Sleet so it's truely perma. Plus a lot of other possibilities. This is a little mind boggling lol. It will be extremely hard to come up with something definite without direct input on all this from the OP. But still interesting to see what I can change in it. -
Something...It's not a bug or anything...but..a QoL?
In the past when we selected accolades we had the ability to Click them on/off to see the difference in our stats, or at least to be aware that we did infact select our accolades. I wonder if you can rework that feature for Accolades and add it for the incarnate button too?
Like I said it's nothing major but I quickly noticed it when I started working on a couple occasions I kept thinking "Did I enable my accolades and Alpha?". -
Huzzah!! Been waiting on this! Thanks guys!

I generally don't skip any tips. But there are a few that I hate with a passion: The Lead Sister Jocasta out mission and the Rescue the Debutants mission are on top of my list. The Malta Gunslinger mission where you have to wait 82734289730 minutes for each ambush to appear gets on my nerves very much as well.
There's also that one Vigilante mission which name escapes me ATM. Where you have to free a LongBow agent and then lead him out of the huge-*** base. Agent Fremuth? Or something. -
If you closed the Updater while it was Applying the patch this is normal.

Quote:Well that's you. I very much enjoy the Freedom Phalanx TFs. And I'm extremely content that the WST is including Non-50 TFs. 100 merits in an hour for WST Psyche? Gimme gimme. It would be nice to get them at the same time though. Since, you know, the only reason I'd even be doing a Sister Psyche would be to get my incarnate piece.
It almost seems like they're intentionally making all the targets be TFs that nobody wants to do. That's really not the best way to increase the interest in the TFs. If something isn't fun, you don't tie extra rewards to it. It sure didn't work for PvP... just made those items extremely rare since most people aren't willing to put up with unfun things just for the reward.
If someone said "Hey, what should we do about these TFs that suck and are boring?" my first thought wouldn't be "Let's tie them to the new things we just released so people have to play the lame content to get their incarnate stuff."
I think the WST is a great thing. Even if not for the incarnate rare drop salvage, the double merits/XP is very very interesting and good. I love it.
I'm very pleased with Strike Pack just as is. I've ran the current WST, the STF, on a couple non-50 toons and they both dinged 50 at the "TaskForce complete" screen. Made me a happy panda.
And as many people pointed out before, if you want shards go do other content like an iTF. It takes under an hour for a kill all iTF on a semi-competent team. It's not like the game is all about the Incarnate system now and everything else is obsolete. I still have other toons to level up and IO out and this helps with it. -
It's happening to me as well. Also on multiple computers with completely different hardware.
-
I saw that bug reported by a few people too. Zoning out of Oro into another area and equipping the Alpha there seems to work.
-
I like that cutscene. Even though I've done the STF hundreds of times. It's a chance to go AFK for bio/food/coffee/smoke/whatever. It also gives slow loaders a chance to catch up to the rest of the team.

Quote:That's great to hear. It is nice to see this bug squashed as quickly as it was. I still contend that this problem never should have made it live, and wouldn't have if this publish had been subjected to adequate testing, but I'm glad to see it fixed. Now, hopefully, this fix will be accompanied by a re-evaluation of whatever internal decision-making processes allowed it to be pushed live in the first place.
This pretty much says it all. -
Quote:Pretty much this sums all my thoughts about Concealment Pool.I would like to see the concealment pool buffed.
Remove speed debuff as well as remove the defense suppression if you attack from Stealth
Make Invisibility useful, why was it ever made to not be able to interact with anything when used was beyond me.
Grant Invisibility is fine as is
Phase Shift is a delicate thing and honestly I think it is fine the way it is right now. I remember when it used to be awesome in that you were doing the McHammer while being able to interact with glowies. -
Yeah, Multiple people have confirmed it. STF/RSF and they crafted their T3s.
-
-
Hmm...yeah...Sounds about right actually Father Xmas
-
Yeah, I know that. I just didn't want it to take forever to download and patch on the day of release. My past experience with that isn't exactly pleasant lol.
-
Quote:That's true. But, the thing is, SS/SD is extremely Endo demanding. Between the Rage Crash every 90 or so seconds, Hasten Crash every 120, Active Defences every 70 or so, and FootStomp taking 15 End every 7 seconds or so, KnockOut Blow taking 11 every 9 or so I can use every last tiny bit of recovery I can squeeze out of the build. So 6 slotting Stamina is dual beneficial for me. I don't think it's a waste in this particular build.I'm not taken by wasting slots in stamina like that. I'm assuing you're heading for the AoE def there? You'd do better off with up-slotting CJ/SJ with Zephyr and being able to drop some range def elsewhere you're reaching for.
Quote:Alternately: have you considered maneuvers. You'd have to drop a pool, but I think SS/inherit hurdle/ninja run/jetpacks makes for a compelling argument of not needing CJ/SJ. ninja takes care of most CJ micro maneuvering and jetpacks are easily available when you have to get somewhere tall.
And yes, I agree. A Self heal in the brute/scrapper epic would be....just epic, lol. But yeah, it'll be overpowered since there are multiple sets with a self heal like Dark Melee or Fiery Armor or Electric Armor or Energy Aura. -
Great suggestions thanks guys... Twilight Snow I love what you did in the build. With tiny changes it'll be perfect for me, thanks a lot.

Quote:I tried it, didn't workNo need to back it up. It's a tiny file that gets redownloaded if missing. That's how you force a fresh, uncorrupted copy.
Also look for one called majorpatch something, if that's there, try putting -mp as a flag on the start-up command in the shortcut. If that doesn't work, then delete it along with checksum.
Another thing to try is exiting the game the long way (countdown out) through all the exit menus rather than exiting shutting off the client.
Quote:Originally Posted by IronBladeSome people have gotten the download, others have not. I have two accounts and haven't gotten the download on either of them. The speculation is that, in order to spread the load over time, the auto-download is either being activated randomly or based on some account information that we're not privy to.
Expect it to happen some time within the next two weeks. -
Quote:Are you talking about the "CoH.Checksum" file?have you tried deleting the checksum file.
that's a guess, but deleting that thing has solved so many things in the past.
I should try that when I get home... I'll make a backup copy of it just in case something odds happens, thanks for the advice. -
Been leveling up my SS/SD brute and I'm having a total blast with him. I want to set him out when he hits 50 but I'm not 100% sure about his build. Currently I can't get the Glad Armor Def +3% IO unique so I had to do without it. I know he won't excel in everything, but I want him to be as good of an all rounder as I can get him (Soloing/Teaming/Tanking/Farming). This is the build that I came up with, any advice/critique/Improvements would be welcome. I really wanted more recharge in the build (planning for the Cardiac Alpha slot), but that's the best I could get. So yeah...help?
P.S: One thing I like about how this turned out is that once I get my hands on the Glad Armor proc (it's just a thought..if I decide I like him enough I might just do it) is that I can plug it in and safely lose 1 of the 3.75% Def bonuses (or two of the 1.875% in case of the AoE) in each position so I can get more recharge and still be softcapped.
