I know a lot of people despise them because they've had their own bad experiences with them, but it's what has kept me going with my latest toon all the way to 30! (which is amazing for my tiny attention span. usually Ive created 5 characters by now)

its easy

its sociable

and nothing keeps your mind off grinding if you dont have to slowly work your way through mobs like when soloing.

During the first posi TF..I think....the one where you fought dark clones of yourself

my team broke off and started symmetrical fighting. Coping the moves of the clones.


I don't know, it probably wasn't that awesome but it made my inner Troper happy.

couple summary bios

Unknown Variable
A scientist trying to recreate the circumstances that created the Nuclear 90. Made a giant dick move and subjected himself to the energy and gave himself super powers because he was tired of being a scientist.

...He is owned by the government because of that...

A doctor that merged with an alien energy being.


Primarily made because I wanted to make a character that didn't receive powers based on his pre-powered personality or career. So I gave a medical profession the power to shoot energy out of his hands.

All the supergroups I've been in I've just kind of used to find people of similar level to me to group with without spamming broadcast every time I want to do something and hoping there's people in the area...

Even if I blend into the prestige grinding soul-less masses...at least I'm getting some convenience out of it..

That is until I find a better SG.

But hey, I'm keeping busy.

I just played like..3 PuGs and a posi TF today...and I don't even think I saw a healer today... and we never needed one..and having a "tank" was covered only because I was being a lobster today...only because I felt like teleporting into the center of a mob and foot stomping. Itssofun.

hell..I don't even pay attention to archtypes most of the time. We're all just heroes.

Working on some 5th Column uniforms. Still a little rough,

I'd say..pretty much every one of my characters have some sort of story.

In my head.

About half of them have a written story somewhere.

About 3 of them have a Virtueverse page.

And only one of those virtueverse pages is anywhere near "presentable"/finished.

I mean, I really like creating interesting stories for characters, but I always get bored of the characters playstyle before I get anywhere.

I really wish claws had actual...claws..for stuff like this.

As for the costume..something using the Bio set.

While his backstory has nothing to do with them, my hero Unknown Variable's costume was inspired by Creys Paragon Protectors.

And it's not even the annoying teleporting, its the stupid hurricanes.

I run mainly melee fighters and its aggravating having an enemy I could round house kick in the face 4 feet from me, but be completely unable to because of the knock back.

And that's just with one. Don't get me started on when theres 3+ in a room and Im being juggled around.


I just avoid Tsoo missions. Other heroes can take them.

Hard choice. I mean, I like the Ritki theme better, but, Foo's looks more like an actual epic struggle where Shias looks like everyone's posing for a picture....with lazers..



I have to vote for Foo.

I've never used Tray 4 before..All my toggles/travel powers are bound and I've never had more attack powers than I had slots on the first tray @ 3@;;
