All TFs will spawn at the highest level they can if you have even one person at, or over, that highest level. This is regardless who has the star. Bug or WAI for the TF spawning, it's annoying.
If the person with the star is the highest level and they DC while you are all in a mission, you should all remain at that person's level while inside. Once you all exit/the mission ends, the next person in line will get the star and the rest of the team will be leashed to him; the missions will still be maxed out however, as far as I can tell, though I have not had only one person on the team at max level DC/not come back (I've usually had 2 or more on the team so the levels stay maxed anyway).
There might be a time-delay that if the person does not come back at all from a DC while in a mission (or some X minutes), the levels of the players may change while inside and you can be royally screwed; lvl 41s start fighting lvl 50s all of a sudden. But I've not seen this X minutes pass so I advise everyone stay in the mission to finish it if the star/leader DCs. Once outside, play the log off game so the next person at highest level will remain on to get the star for the next mission. If you do this before the current mission ends, nothing will change.
If someone quits while in the mission, that could be a whole other story. But I've not had that happen yet. The ITF is about the worst case scenario for this because of the massive level range of it. -
Quote:I grant you your wishYes, and for some of us, it's a U.S. (legal) holiday as well. But that doesn't change the fact that Monday is NOT part of DXP weekend as currently scheduled. That's all GP was talking about -- nothing wrong with forging ahead with festivities for anyone still off that day, but nobody should expect DXP to still be in effect (although in light of the timing of both a minor U.S. and a more major Canadian holiday, it would have been nice for them to extend DXP by a day).
You're welcome. -

I played it before. Why play it again: It's a little different!
Due to *someone* coming back and ruining the entire point of the original, I had to re-do part of it, adding in new characters and a whole other level. "Story" was altered, but it's just as confusing and lackluster as before.
Arc Name: Something funny happened on the way to the Victory Forum?
Arc ID: 82693
Faction: Neutral
Creator Global/Forum Name: VoodooCompany
Difficulty Level: Medium
Synopsis: A fun/lighthearted poke at us, the Victory Forum. Includes a custom group with several different types of mobs. Some forumites guest star, of course.
Estimated Time to Play: Medium-ish
Link to More Details or Feedback: Definite work-in-progress. Please PM or use in-game comment system. Yes, I know, the mobs will probably kick your *** if you don't pay attention. WAI. -
Quote:Gotta know what level they will talk to you, but that's about it. Last guy I took through there I skipped till 24ish or maybe 25(?) and talked to Pebbles, and she either kicked me to Jack, and he to the next and so on, or she sent me directly to the last guy (lars?)
Doesn't it only show the last guy if you did the previous ones? Kinda hate o-zone, through, due to the invite problems.
With Ozone, I don't believe everyone gets credit for the arc anyway? I solo'd it on my Issue 2 50 just so he could talk to Hess when I wanted to run it on him. Same with Salinger and Katie. -
Quote:Only gotta do the last contact to unlock Hess. Can do it via Ozone and only picking the not-as-talented Hanson brother.
In a way, I hate the "forced" nature of Striga, having to do it just to unlock the task force. -
Not sure how this is my fault; Mental hardly ever did TFs with me as it was
Pol, Unless you are hell-bent biased against other global channels, I never had a problem filling the teams from Badges/Badges 09 on Tuesdays (or any other day of the week). They aren't as jaded against me (yet) as Forum folk :cries: You should have better luck -
Did the post you read mention the level of the leader and/or the actual level of the PPs? I wouldn't be surprised if the PPs are lvl 40 regardless of the leader, but specifics are important. Several Manti runs went off during the weekend and didn't see any complaints in the globals for them. Even if they are 40, if you have any kind of -res / -def, they aren't an issue though.
And I don't suggest Augustine:
Patch notes on test:
"Fixed a bug that caused the Justin Augustine Taskforce to award 24 Reward Merits instead of 42 Reward Merits. "
Curious why they are calling this a bug; it was posted at 42 by a redname when they listed all the merit changes and AFAIK, it was awarding properly with I16 release. I haven't personally run it, but hadn't heard any complaints that they got the wrong amount. Why it's 42 is the only thing I've heard discussed. When I first read the patch note, I thought the bug was that it was awarding 42 and should really be 24, which makes a hell of a lot more sense. -

I can't imagine why we have a Mod keeping a close eye on our forum. Can't....figure....out....who....would.....cause.. ...that............

You've been good lately, but I still like to keep an eye on you. -Mod08 -
Everyone else is like this, I'm sure.
Right?
Hello?
I had a nice long stretch of not being sick for a good 15+ years. I could be surrounded by viral, germ-volcanoes and have no issue. That's no longer the case for unknown reasons. ...but the interesting thing is that I react the exact same way now being sick as I did well before in the past. It's eerie.
I'm sure most people would say something similar, but when I get sick, I get sick. The worst is the flu of course, and the only time it'll affect me is when I'm hitting the 103 temp marks. I luckily haven't had to deal with that in a nice long stretch now (the cold is another story); but the worst part of the flu was the dreams that I got with it. That's when I knew I had the flu: I have the *exact same dream* every time and it scares the beejebus out of me. Though if I think about it/talk it out loud, I have to wonder why I'm so scared in the dream of this dream. It's just silly. But it's terrifying for whatever reason. Let's just say it involves dancing Hippos with rabies, running down a mountain, an avanlanche of trees/logs , and no escape. I wake up at the exact same spot every time.
Now the cold is a different story; generally mild and mostly annoying, but tolerable. Expect the dreams, man. The dreams! They all involve some kind of violence, explosions, paranoia/conspiracy, chasing....and never have anyone I could possibly recognize from real life (I don't even know them in the dream). I'm generally not even in my own dreams, but looking through someone else's experiences. The rare few I'm in, it's 3rd person view only. Yet I feel all the anxious paranoia that's going on in the dream. While the dreams are different, the theme is always the same. A recent one I had had the person I was looking through actually die.....then I woke up. Another time had me "wake up" and attacked by a ghost made out of a plain white T shirt.
Wild ride man. And this is all done without the use of medication. But I'm sure this is all pretty normal fare for others. I'm just bored and my imaginary friends are tired of hearing the same ole made up stories, so I thought I'd share here.
I welcome your comments. -
Put me down for my storm controller. If I'm late, just wait for me.
-
Too soon. not necessary, over done *shrug* With badge changes, I have no need for pounding away on an Inf badge, and nothing I'm in a hurry to "finish". Though there are plenty of others that can't wait to get more things they'll never actually use. Personally won't be doing anything differently, though it'll probably hamper any TFs I might want to run cuz I'll have time for them then.
Mental, good luck with your modest proposal. Guard any children you might have -
Quote:While technically true about a good Defense based Stalker, having a blaster jump into an AV spawn -> nuke -> die immediately -> use RotP -> then run away is never considered "tanking" by any definition. If a blaster can tan an AV, I'm pretty sure a pansy ***** stalker can as well.
Oh, you said "tan". Yes, I'd imagine most fire blasters can easily tan an AV. My bad. -
Quote:Is the specificity aimed to avoid what "cartoons for adults" include?
Is that why cartoons for children have three fingers AND a thumb? -
Anyone else more curious as to what quality programs were meant to be taped?
-
While I chuckled at the notion, it was a good thing one of the blasters had Vengeance to use almost everytime Shamster died. Those insta-ambushes after a Cyst died were humorous as well.
I really need to get re-use to playing that guy again. -
I only have myself to blame for that.
It's been changed to Shamster until further notice. -
Could try the number shown at the top right of the post you want to link to:

While it may or may not affect purples, the fix should affect IO drops in general. Been holding off on a scrapper and a separate controller marathon because, even with the closed beta, something was off not making them worthwhile. *fingers cross for a quick patch after this current one on test* -

Hmmm haven't played the fire blaster in forever. I won't have time to play with colors before then though
<- Possible. I'd be more affirmative if it were a bit later. Can't guarantee I'd be on by 9.

The real issue is the hapless spining in the air while you twiddle your thumbs; the damage isn't that big a deal (as a Tank), but it's the utter lack to do anything but usually watch GW turn her attention on everyone else while you're practicing your Pirouettes.
