belated gratz! Hopefully I should get a new PC in the next few weeks, itching to start scrapping again.

now then gents, still no news on the PC front. Re-activated my account ready and I can keep up with the boards, real shame i'll miss Heat dinging.
might just be desperate enough to kick my g/f off hers and stick my RAM and gfx card in her PC.

thanks shynet. I was having fun with my blaster before the PC gave up and suffered from a steel toe boot soon after so when i get back on i'll be giving the rangers a shout i think.

Been out of the game for a bit, looking to get back into it as soon as my pc is fixed or I get a new one. Just wondering if much has changed since mid december? Anyone left hanging around from Darkwings or Agency?

agree completely, its city of villains not city of chavs or idiots. People would use this excuse for all kinds of game ruining behaviour.

I just started an ice/ice tank(yeah I know),Im on COV at the minute but the tank is my next toon to get levelling. Will be interesting as the weaknesses are starting to show at lvl 10 - groups of lieuts or minions mixed, fine - as soon as there is a boss it goes downhill quickly. Hoping this doesnt continue to SO+ range

Im pretty sure dark armour is resistanc, ice and SR being the defensive sets

Ive avoided pickup teams so far in COV but for COH and COV im gonna have to bind "zomg we need to replace you with someone with a clue" to something

I agree and feel sorry for low level defenders, especially new players. They join a team (being a rad, kin, dark, FF etc - all very useful) and get shouted at for healz plz and/or kicked because someone thought they grabbed a heal bot and runs around aggroing everything then faceplanting. those are the teams you leave with the defender I think.

Innigo - helpful comments there. If you actually read her post she doesnt WANT items of power or raids or a fully functional super delux military defended base. The prices are extortionate and an artificial way to extend the game with hours of grinding.

empathy is more needed in COH as a lot of power sets are made to enhance the defence and survivability of the team. In COV the focus is on damage and buffs so the enemies go down faster - less need for healing. The healing powers available seem to function very well within COV.

I agree, invaluable crisis heal for tanks and for those squishys to get back to full health in one go. But I put myself in danger a lot with it as I was always in the mele fights - fun while it lasted.

With Darkwings its normally people we team with or people looking for an SG that someone in the SG/coalition/regular team member knows, so far its been sucessful and have a bunch of good players. We dont have any trial periods or requirements for entry.
