My guess, someone in closed beta uploaded one of their arcs to the test server for PL purposes, and the the devs said enough is enough.

Request
Could more people please bring Nukes. Last raid I think we had like 4, and I had two of those. There is a week to go before the raid, so there is plenty of time. If you need help getting one, holler in shooters or PM me. I'll help you get one.
Either way, Omega and Epsilon will be there with a Bio nuke each. -
I'm gonna say that T does a lot for us Protectorites and the Regulars. I appreciate all that he does, from defending the meek, to Hami Raid planning, to rescuing me from my own stupidity at times.
Take a bow Bro. -
Well, it was good to "see" Midas in game again. I'm not touching the rest of it.

Quote:Hm, this kinda throws off an arc I was working on that has a few weak allies (5 total, none with buffs of any sort) and three of them betray you later...
You are not alone. I have been working on an arc where 5 of my Heroes fight 5 of my Villains, with ambushes and patrols all over the place. Oh well I guess I will put a discalimer in the descrption that says "MINIMAL REWARDS! If you are playing this, play for the story". -

You should have said "You are a healer, pop some greens and heal thine self"

Shall we try Evac-less?

Castle Posted that Blessing of the Zephyr is getting nerfed
[quote]From the BETA Patch Notes:
Quote:Quote:
Blessing of the Zephyr:
• Decreased the 2 piece set bonus from this set from +3.125% Ranged Defense, +1.563% Energy and Negative Energy Defense to +1.25% Ranged Defense, +.625% Energy and Negative Energy Defense.
• Decreased the 3 piece set bonus from this set from +3.125% AoE Defense, +1.563% Fire and Cold Defense to +1.875% AoE Defense and +.938% Fire and Cold Defense.
• This set's bonuses were significantly decreased as the 2 and 3 piece set bonuses were far too powerful allowing players to easily stack 5 copies of these buffs for minimal slot usage.Quote:
Since rumors of this change have already begun leaking from the closed Beta, I thought it would be a good idea to start a discussion about it here in the public forums.
So, why are we making this change? Frankly, we screwed up by making the set bonuses too good and too easy to stack. This was mentioned by players way back when the set was first introduced, but at the time it was felt that the situation would be manageable. Time, however has proven that to be wrong and, as a result, we have had to take this step.
Players in the beta have pointed out that this change ought to result in the cost of the recipes being reduced, and that is something we are considering. It has also been pointed out that this change should necessitate a freespec be granted with I17, which we will be doing.
I’ll be paying attention to this thread and will try to answer any further questions that come up. -
That gave me a bigger headache than the BotZ thread.

Quote:This has to be the first time that I have seen the phrase "bait and switch" go with the word "improvements".
And in the meanwhile, Ultra mode which was flagged for retail is now free. And in its place comes an awful lot of last minute bait and switch improvements. -

I kinda like this idea. A final act of defiance... I'm taking as many of you with me as I can type thing.
You're already dead once you click it, so why not. -
Quote:the mission computer stays in place.I swear that I saw a post saying that the Mission Computer was staying around, but damned if I remember where it was. Regardless, I plan on putting one in my base just because it looks cool.
Quote:Silver Mantis Strike Force Update: The Silver Mantis Strike Force will now be available to all Villains, not just supergroups. You now can access the Silver Mantis Strike Force via Silver Mantis, located in Sharkhead Isle. You can also run this Task Force from your supergroup computer. -
Quote:TO be honest, as much as I love my villains, getting people to get to a villain side raid in a timely manner on this server is the pits. The last few successful raids have taken longer to get enough people zoned in than it did to complete the thing. I'm not sure what the problem is. Hero side is better, but not by much. That's just not fair to the villains who might want to do it.
I understand the decision completely.
FYI, I lead the MM team. -
No Villain raid this week?
-
May as well red me out now. I doubt it will be released by Monday.

The Dark Knights of the Abyss were formed at the launch of CoV. I was one of the founding members, and the only one left.
-
gotcha.
Thanks.
I always thought Patrol and Double XP didn't apply in AE. I was hoping to save that for TF'soh well.
-
In a nutshell.
I hate Blue side content. I've been taking my Blasters on a Journey through AE for leveling. Last run, I started with four blue bars of partol XP, ran five bars worth of missions, and have 1/4 bar of Patrol XP remaining. Is this a bug, a change, or has it always been that way? -
Have any of you ever tried Combo-fix? I find that it works very well for cleaning up unwanted apps.
