Quote:I can't say I wasn't expecting it. Hopefully, Velma will realize she needs to be accepting of Shaggy and Scooby's relationship, rather then forcing Shaggy to choose one over the other.
I think the same thing can be said for Scooby. I think that Scooby needs to realize that Shaggy doesn't have to devote his whole life into their friendship. -
Well Nolan is producing, and I'm hoping he'll have some input on the screenplay. The only thing that will just make me go "ugh" over the whole film is if it has the typical "I'm not human, I'll never fit in, got to do what I can to belong." plot to it. To me Superman doesn't care about fitting or blending in with humans but inspiring them. Superman wants to show people that there's nothing wrong with doing the right thing.

Velma lost Shaggy to Scooby such a shame. I liked the Velma, Shaggy, Scooby dynamic in the show, but who knows the season isn't over yet and there's more to be revealed.

Not sure if it's been posted yet but it looks like Zach Snyder is tapped to direct the new Superman movie.

Picked it up Vol.1 of this series. I liked it, the only thing that gets me is how the release is being done here in the states. Vol. 2 is set for a late Oct release and the part that gets me is that Vol. 3 and the completed series will be released later, WHY? I say if you're going to release the whole series as a collected volume then release it vs. releasing a few volumes and then spring a completed volume at the release of the final volume.

Wake me up when the hoverboard becomes reality

Was thinking and wonder if issue 20 has a new power system. For example any player can choose any power from any powerset but at the cost of points. Various ones would cost a certain amount and once you run out that's it, no more powers to obtain.

Quote:This was my big concern with this premiere also. I was really expecting some kind of half-***** poorly written explaination, but came out pleasently surprised with the ending and enjoyed the episode. I think another part of why I liked it was that it seemed that the time that Peter was on air seemed to be on the minimal sideWhat was really surreal was the solution to the mystery. Not so much what it was (which is also awesome), but that it made sense, was tightly explained, and fit in the expectations of the mystery genre. I spent the whole episode dreading that the answer would be "Monkey in the closest LOLOLOL You wasted an hour of your life!"

Watched it, liked it, the only part that I didn't like was when Rusty Venture was talking to Hank about him and his brother. Not sure if I heard it right but it seemed that Dr. Venture was saying he sees Dean as someone who wants the Venture life, and would fit right in with it. Were Hank was just born, tagging along and rebelling against it. Doesn't Dr. Venture see that Hank would actually enjoys it and wouldn't mind the Venture life were as Dean is doing everything he can to hide and escape from it. So far I really haven't seen much character growth or development in Dr. Venture other than being a pompous ******* to everyone around him.

I enjoyed Final Wars also, favorite part was when Godzilla smoked his 4th rate american counterpart at the Sydney Opera house.

I agree I just don't see the Authority and JLA mixing that well. DC tried to make the JLA take the Authority route once with the JLA Elite mini series, didn't really like it. Some I can see transitioning ok like Gen 13, Welcome to Tranquility, WildC.A.T.S., not sure on the Astro City material.

Some tough choices to make got a few comic book stories that were not selected to choose from. However in the end I'll go with my gut and so for my final pick I choose
Marvel comics Annihilation -
Couldn't really find a wiki link for this next pick, but I'm going with Marvel Comic's The Death of Captain Marvel graphic novel.
-
Guess all those years of being chased, kidnapped, and killed and cloned is paying off for Hank.

Something like diminishing returns sounds like something a signed NDA might be used for. All I can speculate is that I20 will probably involve some kind of massive change to CoH current gameplay and setup. How CoH is currently being played will change once I20 goes live and will involve players having to relearn how to play the game.
Aside from diminishing returns and the incarnate system, here's some of my speculations.
1) The devs are doing away with the enhancement system and will implement a new way to raise the stats on player characters.
2) Changes to the powersets, some powers will be removed from sets, others will be shuffled around, and those that remain will be altered (buffed or debuffed).
3) A new leveling system, defeating enemies or completing missions no longer grant xp but a new method will be introduced.
4) Paragon studio attempts to cash in on the facebook game craze and thus all players will be forced to reveal their real names in game and on the forums in order to play.
