I actually like the idea. I know Dick was resistant to becoming Batman, but the simple truth of it is: he's very good at it. There have always been those who have speculated that there was no way that Batman could be one man, that there had to be a committee of them who shared the role. In a way, they're going to make that happen. I would love to see Dick remain the Batman in the Justice League, as he is much better in any team dynamic than Bruce ever was. That would leave Bruce free to concentrate on Gotham, which has always been his first and greatest love.

The interesting thing I'm looking forward to seeing is who Damien goes with. They've had their prickly moments, but Dick and Damien have developed a fairly decent relationship. For all of his arrogance, Damien respects and trusts Dick (as much as he can trust anyone). Damien and Bruce... well, there's really not much there. Will Damien stick with the relationship he's got with Dick, or will he jump at the chance to work with his father? Will Bruce insist on taking over Damien's training? Does Bruce even want Damien to be Robin? Will Dick insist on keeping the team as it is? Lots of questions to be answered. It could be fun seeing what they do with it.

For the record, I would much rather have seen Dick remain as the sole Batman, and have Bruce take on something new. Let him run Checkmate, or take over the Titans so those kids stop getting their ***** kicked and dying. Let him run off with Selina for a while and just have a life for a bit. Or, Bruce Wayne for President. Hell, they let Luthor do it. I would just have liked to have seen them do something to shake things up a little more than having him come straight back into the Batsuit.

Sons of Anarchy got no nominations. So, **** the Emmys.

Done right, Iron Fist could be such a cool movie. You've got a mystical city, some kick-*** martial arts fights, a good solid lead character, and so much backstory built into K'un L'un now that you could craft almost anything out of it. You really wouldn't even need to go too much into CGI and effects. Something for the dragon when Danny actually gets the Iron Fist, and a little for the effect when he uses it. But, beyond that, I think they'd be best served by keeping it grounded and realistic. Which of course means they'll try to make it into a bloated effects-laden CGI monstrosity that will suck *** and completely ruin the character. *cough* Ghost Rider *cough*

The one I use is about 3 feet long, about 4 inches in diameter, with a nice leather wrap around it to improve the grip, and an iron band on the end to keep it from splintering when you extend it upside someone's noggin.

My favorite badge is Tank (on the M1 statue in Galaxy City). All my tanks get it right off, and its the only badge they ever wear.

Most pain in the *** badge (at least of the ones I bother getting) would have to be the Illusionist one. Farming for that one was always one colossal pain in the keester.

I liked it. My wife did too. Just good ol' fashioned shoot 'em up, wisecracking, asskicking fun. Stallone knew exactly what he had here, and didn't try to make anything more than a good retro 80's style action flick. Mindless summer fun. Loved the Willis/Stallone/Schwarzenegger scene. Think how fun that would have been if they could have pulled it off 20 years ago. Terry Crews' auto-shotgun was just awesome. I think my ears are still ringing from that. And DAMN! How good did Charisma Carpenter look?

Every single one of my toons has started in Galaxy City. I don't go to AP unless I have no choice. If I roll anymore toons, they'll be starting in GC too.

I'm pretty much server monogamous (with the exception of one little bad toon on a static teaming night on Protector). Champion is mine. No need to go anywhere else.

Not really in the mood to try to do math, so I figured I'd appeal to some of the more number crunching oriented type folks. My question is regarding some of the higher recharge time powers in the game, like 1000 seconds, 360 seconds, etc.

Now, I know that you drop 3 rchg IOs in there, you can cut it half down to about 500 and 180. What I'm curious about is:

1- is it possible to get either of those rchg times down so far as to make them perma-
2- and if so, what do you need to peg your rchg rate at to make it happen?

Good turnout tonight. Started with taking out 2 Paladins for the ceremonial Stomping of Something Bigger Than You. We had 4 teams if I recall correctly. A Sister P TF team, a Freakspec team, a mid-level radio mission team, and our team made up of everyone else. Good time as always, much stomping done.
