I will be there. Hopefully I can push my WP/Axe Tanker Middle Age Man through his last few bubbles to 50. I don't think I've 50'd at a TT yet.

My Archery/Ice blaster was originally named The Long Hard Shaft. That lasted just a shade over 2 days before getting gen'd.

All Tanker teams are fun as hell, because its just one great big crazy smashfest. I've run most of the TFs in the game at some point on all tanker teams, and while it might take a little longer, its always been a total blast.

I look at being a Tank much like being a dad. You let your kids run around and do what they want, protecting them where you can, but giving them enough leeway to do and try things on their own. Very often they will succeed wildly with minimal effort on your part, which is fantastic. Sometimes, things will go terribly and horribly wrong, epic crash and burn, at which point you step in, clean up the mess, right the wrong, get them back on their feet and back to having fun.

I don't much care what the other people on my team do, unless they're exercising deliberate jackassery and sucking the fun out of things for everyone else. Beyond that, do as you will. Its all good in the end. I'm a Tank, I win.

I am donating all of the unearned 2xps that I'm missing by being at work to the needy. I can count that as a charitable donation on my taxes, right?

My Inv/SS uses fly for a travel power, having taken Air Superiority. I like the mitigating effects of AS, and since Foot Stomp is my favorite power, I like having U-Mann ground-bound during fighting.

My Inv/EM uses fly for a travel power, but took Hover. In fact, his feet never touch the ground. He lives in the air, and its all for concept. Plus I really like hovering over mobs and doing Whirling Hands on their heads.

Any noticeable difference between them in terms of Tankiness? None. I've run pretty much every single TF and trial in the game with both of them, tanked pretty much everything there is to tank with both of them, and they both work like a charm.

That being said, I always go with concept first. Could I squeeze a little extra def in with CJ/SJ? Sure, but I don't need it, and I don't miss it. My guys are flyers, so I had to make em that way.

Haven't really noticed the lag being any better or worse than its always been for me.

I'm seriously digging the customization thing. Its nice to finally be able to get a lot of my toons looking exactly the way I always envisioned them. And whats even cooler is that I find I'm loving the sheer chaotic aspect of the new colors in large teams situations. For so long, everything was always the same. You could always figure on exactly what things were going to look like when you were fighting. Now, its way different, and way more fun. Seeing colors flying off all over that you dont recognize right off, it makes all fighting seem a little more wild, a little more fun, kind of as insane as I always imagined it would be with actual superpowered folks. But that's just my $.02. Two thumbs up.

I will throw in as a sidebar that one of my biggest pet peeves and things that annoys me most in this game is when someone puts out a call for people to come join their team or trial or tf or whatever, and you say "sure, i'll join" and they ask what you're bringing and you tell them and they say "oh, sorry, we dont need that." Pisses me off to no end. I get if you're trying for a Master run on something, or a superspeed run, but for general purposes to turn someone away like that just sucks donkey balls.

I try to never turn anyone away no matter what they're bringing because if you only ever got to use your fotm or "optimal" toons, how do any of those other less desirable builds get any play? I build goofy toons, I like weird builds, and I like weird teams. I hate to see people get shut down or denied teamage just because the toon they want to play isnt the "right" kind. Like I said before, any toon, any time, any thing. We'll make it work.

Doesn't really matter much to me. When I'm making a team up, I'll pretty much take anyone who wants to come with whatever they want to bring. Somehow, some way, we'll make it work.

That being said, of course I prefer quality players. They're the ones who can make pretty much anything work in any situation. I'll take a good player on a so-so toon any day over a bad player on a killer toon.

Sewer Trial went down last night. Good PUG team I cobbled together from the Alliance Network and BMT. Knocked it out with 15 minutes or so to spare. I seem to enjoy that trial more the more I run it.

Tonight, will be either an Eden Trial, or a small Posi TF run, depending on who I can lure in... so if you're looking for either of those, hit me up @Ultraamann in game.

I'm still here. Zero interest in going anywhere else. Mostly because I'm just too lazy.
