  1. According to that contest the selected character was going to be an NPC in Studio 55 (The Dance Area in Praetoria).

    So is there any unique looking NPCs in there?

    And for the record, Stalkers are getting shafted again. How? They are getting changed to be able to use Assassin Strike as a Superior damage regular attack when not in Hide, and their ATO will put them in Hide when it procs. So, you'll run through your attack chain and instead of the fast Superior AS you thought you were going to use, the proc fires and you get the 4 second interruptible AS instead.
    The devs disagree with you as we stated earlier up the proc was changed to proc 7 fury. I was hitting full fury on test. It rocks now it can be like a 40% damage increase at times.

    Technically its two arcs Doc Buzzsaw gives. Annoying as I went Villain side to get all of the story arcs done.
  8. The Doc Buzzsaw Story arcs for Praetorian characters is not appearing in Ouroboros. I believe this is due to the fact that Praetorians do not get the "Bling" badge (Which unlocks the contact) but they get the "Who's Who" badge.

    Just this one, and someone else in game just confirmed they cannot see it either. (and that person is a Praetorian)

    Well he has the Praetorian equal... in fact this character has over 1000 badges. Doc Buzzsaw is on my contact list so I did unlock her at one point.
  11. Ok a small update, I just logged into another 50 villain of mine and I can see the Story Arcs. The character that cannot see them is a Praetorian (But is level 50)... anyone know how to fix this?
  12. Are certain arcs not appearing in Ouroboros? I am looking for Doc Buzzsaw's arcs in Ouroboros and I cannot find them. I am 50 so I have the contact and its unlocked as it appears on my map.

    I don't see the arcs in Ouroboros though...

    Anyone else able to confirm?

    I recently went Villain on Freedom server to run story arcs and collect badges... Freedom is the most popular server and the red side is pretty dead. It has about 1/4 of the population of the hero side

    Recluse was never immortal (Outside of the aging aspect) because in the villain story arcs you go into the future and actually kill him to stop Project Destiny. This is even before Incarnate existed so you exceeded his power greatly then...

    Honestly, I'm looking very hard at the split slotting for all three of the melee sets: I tend to be recharge insensitive and 7.5 percent S/L defense is REALLY NICE.

    For brutes, the difference depends strongly on where fury decay settles out to be. As I add up on my fingers and toes, it looks to me like brutes will be skyrocketing fury so fast the 'buildup' time approaches inconsequence, and the 'steady state' may be above 90 percent. If so, then the purple brute set with proc may come in at 25+ percent global damage boost, which is...not bad. Maybe not as cool as 2.5 percent S/L, but we'll see.


    EDIT: Oh, wait, I see what you're getting at....


    No, I still think it's better to go with half purple and half orange in a single power. This lowers your opportunity cost in lost slotting of other things, and let's you veer away from the Dual IO's to get more total bonus. The extra 2.5 percent S/L is nice, but I think you'd be paying too much for it.

    Now, if there was another set that gave decent bonuses at three slots that could complement this..... But KC's/erads/obi's tend to be the sweetest spot defense-wise. Probably the best slotting would be halfsies in PBAOE's with erads in the other three slots.

    Hmm. That could free up some KC's. Hmmm.

    Yes you can slot two half sets for 10% total. As long as each enhancer is different you can split the set. It would be like slotting half of Hetacomb in KO BLow and the other 3 enhancers in Punch.

  20. Is it possible to somehow turn off (Besides detoggling) or picking certain colors so that you can minimize the effects from Fiery Aura as much as possible? Reason I ask is because on my character when I do flashback arcs he has certain "auras" and colors depending what power level he is fighting at. 15-29 is red aura, 30-44 gold, and 45-50 is a blue.

    Sub 15 I would like it to be a minimal aura or none at all. Is this possible?

  22. I also hate to suggest this but the Brute ATO set bonuses might need to be swapped in reverse order. Right now it gives: (this is with the catalyst)

    2) 3% Health
    3) 5% S/L 2.5% Melee
    4) 4% DMG
    5) 10% Recharge
    6) 2.52% S/L Resistance

    What does this mean? In my opinion, you would see a better benefit slotting two powers with 3 catalyst Brute IO's for 6% health, 10% Smashing/Lethal Defense then doing the above. (These bonuses would work all the way exemplared down too)

    Thoughts on this?

  24. And Synapse is looking into fixing it now, it is suppose to proc only once per cast, not per target. Based on this, I am guessing there would be no benefit in slotting it into an AOE then? (Which is how it should be)
