That being said.
The cool down is in place to emulate the real world. If you were a famous cop for 2 years, then Decide you are now going to be a drug dealer. You're going to have to spend time building up a rep. Otherwise, you're not going to be trusted. But, in the real world, you can be 4 times as evil and spend half the time building a rep. But, that would mean you'd spend 8 times the effort to be good again. I would be fine with that option. become villain in a day, then take a month to become hero again. Sounds like a fair trade, and in the mean time. I can still do, iTrials, oro, AE, and RWZ. So, Not too much of a loss. an I can work on Villain merits/badges in that time.
I say all this as an example of: instead of JUST complaining about it. think of a solution, or secondary option for them to put in. Your point is to get a patron power, not to remove the cool down. How can they keep the cooldown they want, and the magnitude of alignment change, while you get your new power today.
Though, I still would like the option to "go under cover" to get details about villains -

ok ... My SR scrapper would be amazing at it anyway. At least have a number above the head of each toon to signify the number of players he's hit. Also, all players would start at opposing ends, when hit with a snowball, they immeadiatly TP back to base. there would be an imaginary line that blocks each base or, snowball turets that shoot the opposing team if they get close to spawn. oh, players that would have a tohit buff because of weapon redraw, wouldn't have that buff in the match.

Yeah, make the snowball more of either: a FPS or a directional power where it's not based on tohit vs defense stats, but clicking skill of the player.
movement abilities would also be greyed out. I like the idea, it could be fun.
smaller toons would have a shorter range of throw, due to the diffeculty it would be to hit them and the larger would have a farther range.

That's why I put "if you must" I don't want any of the currect groups there. Just heroes, villains, mayans, and maybe a few Atlantis ancestors(mostly as contacts. Maybe the water enemies from rogue isles (I can't think of their names) on the shore/near water sources.

The biggest concern would be the potentially MASSIVE spamming to the board members, "look at my idea". The other concern would be, hate mail because "my idea wasn't taken". Both of those are very real possibilities.
The power of the people would need to be faceless. There should be no individual with the target on their forehead.
further assesing on my concept: prems would get 1 vote "signed" a month and VIP would get 3 a month. If you post an idea and click signed, you use one vote. if you like an idea enough that you want it made, you can use a vote on it.
then, the dev's would know "at a clance" what the people want. At least then, the people would have a way to draw dev attention to something that's important to them.
I would like it if the devs would implament this then, when they're looking to make a power or costume set, or any other changes, they could make a list of choises in a few threads and let the people vote. those instances would not be tracable or postable by players that way the winning set is a surprise. -
There is another option, you could just buy more storage space; salvage, recipies, I think you can even buy more vault space. and those would apply to all toons on your account. That would acctually be a better deal in the long run, if you're going to pay SG for storage purposes.

New enemy group entirely. The inca or mayan zone, that would eventually lead to an "Atlantis" mission. Bring IP back to life and have a mission story arch, you can only do at 50, that unlocks the zones. Dare I say have the Omega incarnate be unlockable by an Atlantis Trial/SF/TF.
If you must have someone there, have Pretorians be the only other group that knows about it. -
How about the enemies don't spawn with red enemy markers, they are now yellow pasive ones. Also, they aren't taking purses,stealing cars, etc; they're just talking to eachother, but as you pass you hear them say things like "so what day we going to rob the bank", or "I got you the superdine you asked for" and things of that nature. To justify beating them up if you need/want to.
I still think it should be a timed activity as well. Where one hero, team, league can clear out the area/zone/city of crime and it last one full day. and one character can only do it once a month per area/zone/city. Say, twigman clears out an area of AP one day, he could still clear out another area the next day. He could also form a league and have the whole group wipe out a zone in minutes, then move on to the next zone. The month timer and the one day cooldown, is so everyone has an opportunity to get clear the area/zone/city badges.
Please, no more added to Null ... I wish they would fix the movement problem the right way and leave null the options to not accept buffs. I would use it to not accept inertial reduction. It's no fun being suprised with that. -

This was one of the few times I read the NCsoft launcher as well and what a time to start.I was only looking for the WTF and saw it. upon reviewing the launcher, it doesn't say who it was, just that it's revealed. Again, not my intent. Though as the person I quoted stated, I wasn't the first. I just happened to be the one you saw.

I joined plenty of DFB's alone while I was chatting in global channels or in WW.
Granted, this was on Freem/Virtue at peak hours, because even on these servers, although there are DFB teams forming all the time, few people used the queue, so in non-peak hours I found myself in 4-ppl dfb teams, some that were slow because they were like 3 controllers and 1 mm and no one had significant damage at that level, plus some took me 5 minutes to start, I just prefer to form teams because of that.
On less populated servers you can queue yourself and wait forever.
(btw I just did a BAF joining the queue too, and I was alone). -

I can see the petition now...
"My mission tells me to clear out 30 Tsoo, but everywhere I go I'm being told the zones where the Tsoo are supposed to be that some other hero has already cleared them out. How can I finish my mission for Serge if all of the Tsoo are already cleared out?"
option 2: restrict the number of times you can do this to once a month, and it only lasts one day. the hero that does it has a location that he takes in the city (probably near the trainer) and missions where you're suppose to find out info from "tsoo" you go talk to him as a contact and he'll tell you what you need to know.
and for the "curing wand" mission for cimeroa. They could just make a location of hospital mission that you go to.
