Would they run them enough to make them worth making?

Would you run them even if you're taking out "smaller" targets than the large trials take on? (A raid on a warehouse full of New and Improved Enriche, for example, with a non-Praetor AV at the end.)

    Why/why not?
    1. Would I run them? Sure. Content is content. This applies to your last question too.

    2. Would they be run enough to make them worth making - depends on your qualifiers. If you're suggesting to award an Astral or Empyrean merit at the end of it, I think people would go nuts over it, and I think it would be a huge mistake balance-wise.

BTW, what you named above basically translates into a story arc (I won't say task force, since those are typically much longer, with Apex/Tin Mage being exceptions). We have that already to many differing degrees. The "trial" part of it implies a comparative reward, which by your breakdown doesn't apply, I think.

The premise: The Wiki does discuss Gold, but not in the sense that the OP believes (gold as a hard currency vs gold as a crafting drop).

    So, perfectly applicable.

What did I refute? I just gave you the definition of the ESRB, and applied it to the pictures you offered.

(I updated my earlier post, btw, so read there for more info.)

*EDIT: Okay, by definition, it's "refute". I refuted you. I agree. Still, you're wrong. Discuss.

Untrue. Click for more info. It just doesn't mean what the OP thinks it means.

(Side note: If you dig into Puritanical precepts of sex and marriage, they're actually something of party animals. So long as you're married.)

So, Zomb: Serious? Not serious? Making a point that I'm not getting? Take it at face value?

EDIT: On your second point, yep, I understand what it means. Your take on their marketing of this green elf is what I branded as a Puritanical stance. I read your post twice. Both times, I imagined you wearing a black hat and looking like you had a Titan Weapon shoved somewhere uncomfortably. You couldn't have fit the picture better if you broke out a ruler and measured the pixel distance between fuzzy knee cuffs to crotch. That's why it didn't make sense to me: Didn't sound like you, so I stuck with the actual ESRB definition in my original post.

Not terribly. You get a bit of throw when they attack, but without slotting for KB it really isn't that far from most targeted areas. If you're concerned, despawn your Phantasm and respawn them in a more KB-appropriate angle.

On another note, if you're worried about Phantasm throwing people out of a kill zone, my next question would be, "why aren't they dead already?"

Wowsa. Look at all that leg showing!

But that's nothing compared to the drawn version:

From Paragon Studio's email advertising the Holiday Pack.

So, what's being sold in this pic? Look, just like the Give Gift emote, she's giving a present. Only thing is, she's presenting like a baboon in estrus. And she's offering a box. A box by her crotch. A crotch that seems to imply she's not wearing anything over her crotch. Did I mention a *box* by her *crotch*? You know that looks nothing like the Give Gift emote, right?

I expect such a graphic on the cover of Playboy. I've had a less revealing pic removed from the forums for not being "T for Teen."

There's enjoying the beauty of the human form (even if green) and then there's overt sexual pandering. This is the latter. I'd rather have seen this elf nude in just the gloves and boots frolicking in the snow and throwing a snowball then... *this* pose.

I mean, what was even the thought here: That you would get sales by sexualizing fur-lined clothing? Is there a big market for that fetish? "Oh, yeah, jus' like Mrs. Cluas, baby!"

And when you were selling the Gunslinger Pack, where was the drawing of the shirtless cowboy in what appeared to be assless chaps? Oh, that wouldn't have been appropriate? Hmmm....

Yeah, I know, this thread will be full of those saying, "The comic book industry panders to cheap sex all the time." My response, "Yes, but Paragon Studios doesn't have to also."
"T for Teen" as defined by the ESRB:

    Quote:
Titles rated T (Teen) have content that may be suitable for ages 13 and older. Titles in this category may contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling, and/or infrequent use of strong language.
So far, everything you evinced is right on the money. What now, Puritan Zombie Man?

(I can't tell if you're trying to be funny, sarcastic, serious or the town crier. Doesn't sound like you IMO, but I really didn't feel like reading the followup responses, so wanted to at least get the actual ESRB definition in there.)
  10. Hey Luna:

Give my seat to someone else for tonight. I'm utterly wiped. And it's my day off too. How did THAT happen?

(In all fairness, I had MiniTurg on my chest for an hour for "kangaroo care", and you'd think it'd be super relaxing, but it's not. You WANT to sleep, but you have to force yourself awake to make sure you don't drop the kid or watch for breathing events and all sorta stuff. So my body was dying to relax, but my brain said "no way Jose".)

(So I'm falling asleep as I write this. Bad omen for a run tonight. I'll just see you guys later this week. )

I missed this blurb back when you posted it originally. I've added this channel to the Freedom Global master channel list. If there's anything else you want added, lemme know via PM and I'll get it done. Thanks for setting this up.

Seriously considering moving back to Freedom permanently.

Part of me says I should've never left to begin with.

If you were Elitist, you'd have stayed native.

(Link for this thread? I like to immerse myself in the stupids on my days off.)

EDIT: Never mind, just found it. Obsidian, just come back. Srsly. You know what you get by going to Exalted? You get a server who left their homes because they thought the problem with social gaming was other people.

What odd timing. I actually sat in PD last night, trying to pick out the lyrics, without having seen this thread. I wrote down a few phrases, but my searches turned up nothing.

It'd be nice if the music changed seasonally, if not monthly.

In a perfect world, I'd rather they just renamed DJ Zero to Armin van Buuren and just simulcasted "A State of Trance". I'd NEVER leave Pocket D if that were the case.

That's basically what's happening; lungs were a little unprepared for primetime, so they put him on enriched oxygen to get past the hump (he could breathe fine mechanically, but his alveoli were underdveloped).

The GOOD news is, all the paraphernalia is gone! CPAP mask is off, IV is gone, the only things that're left are the monitoring feeds (which annoy him a bit but not nearly as much as the other stuff) and his feeding tube. They moved it to his nose, so he can practice oral feeding this week.

Saw him last night, and he was MUCH more relaxed now that all that junk was removed! I'll see if I can't take a pic for public consumption tonight to share if you guys're interested.

Sammy: Thanks SO much for donating to his registry!
  22. Quick response: There's a thread for that.

Longer response: I'll get to it when things settle down. Someone else can chime in and be helpful in the meantime, though.

Fun fact: When we got shuffled off to the delivery room, a whole team of ER staff came in, for the wife and the baby. I got pushed behind the birthing bed, wondering WTH was going on. I asked the Doc if she wanted me out of the way so they could do their work.

"No, stay right there," she said, "and hold her right foot."

Rising to the occasion, I did exactly that. "Okay, got it. What next?"

    "Just hold it like that."

Awkward silence, as I look down at my wife, who's having contractions.

"Don't worry," I assured her softly.

    "I've got your foot."

One of my finer comedic gold moments, right there.

This is pretty accurate. As far as where to look, it's come into fashion to use the Help channel for teaming organization (as all tiers can use Help, but other avenues are restricted).
